Blue Moons

We all have a line we swear we’ll never cross—until life pushes us past it.

Jason Bell Sr., elite IT professional and visionary behind the first AI-powered EHR system, has it all: a loving family, a promising career, and hopes of a major licensing deal for his groundbreaking software.

Then the pandemic hits—and everything collapses.

Divorced and navigating a new reality, Jason is now a single father to his only child, Junior—recently diagnosed with a rare, aggressive cancer. His career stalls, his savings vanish, and medical debt piles up. When a dangerous opportunity arises, Jason sees a way to regain control. But it comes at a cost. Pulled into a world of secrets, backdoor deals, and moral compromises, he must navigate each choice carefully, knowing every decision drifts him further from the man he once was.

With time running out and his son’s life on the line, Jason faces a chilling question: How much will he sacrifice for the one he loves before there’s nothing left of him?

Blue Moons is a gripping, morally unsettling novel that dares readers to underestimate its narrator and then reveals the cost of that mistake.

Sharp, fast-paced, and emotionally chilling, Saint Yvon explores how love, desperation, and power can blur the line between survival and violence in ways that feel disturbingly real.

Blue Moons is compulsively readable, morally unsettling, and smart about power, tech, and the stories we tell ourselves to justify crossing lines we once believed were uncrossable. I flew through this book and kept thinking about it long after I finished. The ending unfolded in a way I definitely wasn’t expecting!

Blue Moons is an emotionally charged, fast paced, thriller with a lot of heart and grit. My favorite thing about this novel was watching Jason unravel into an absolute menace, if I'm being honest. 😅 The author does it in a way that feels sincere. It's the story of a notorious underdog. Jason Bell Sr. had a lot of odds stacked up against him. We can feel his desperation. He's a character that takes L after L and eventually uses those as fuel for his twisted fire. I've never felt so many mixed emotions about a character in life lol. I wanted him to conquer his challenges but I also wanted him to face the consequences (sorry Jason). 😅 The unexpected twists and turns throughout the book are very satisfying. Overall, this book keeps you hooked from start to finish. I love the way Jason was written. A tech villain, so to speak, in his own right. Morally ambiguous, intelligent, calculated, and eventually callous, and cold-blooded. Genius. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I had NO IDEA, I would be deeply invested in what happened with Jason Bell when I first opened this book! I got taken on a WILD ride with a father who started out trying to make sure his son got the proper treatments needed for his sick son to a man who eventually blurred A LOT of lines! The character building of Jason Bell takes you through his entire process, and eventually will have you asking yourself where is Jason’s morals REALLY AT ?!?!? The amount of plot twists and turns in this kept me hooked! Everything I THOUGHT Jason would do, proved me so wrong! Expectations for him went out the window after a certain point. This was my first Black Male Author read & I am HIGHLY IMPRESSED by the amount of detail that went into character & plot building. I was HOOKED. The ending though, WHEW!! The ending left me speechless.
