Claimed by the Orc Commander

Rate this book
I should have been a bride to an Imperial Prince, a pawn in a marriage contract meant to fund a war. Instead, I was stolen from my gilded carriage by the very monsters my father sought to destroy. But the Orcs of Grayfang Pass didn't kill me. They gave me a home, a purpose, and a guardian who sees the steel beneath my silk.

Korg.

A massive orc soldier who hauls me over his shoulder like a sack of grain and grumbles about my "breakable" human frame. He’s the most stubborn, overprotective male I’ve ever met—and the only one who fights for my dignity as fiercely as he fights for his clan.

But the peace we fought for is bleeding.

Reports of raids and betrayals are pushing the Empire and the Horde to the brink of a war that will consume everyone. Now, both sides have nominated me to lead a joint commission to uncover the truth. I am the only bridge they both trust—and the only target they both might sacrifice.

I’m walking into a nest of vipers in the Disputed Lands, caught between both worlds. To prevent a slaughter, I have to outmaneuver my father’s shadow and prove that a treaty written in blood is stronger than one written in ink.

Now I have to

Return to the capital as the most powerful diplomat in the Empire... Or stand beside the warrior who taught me that a bridge is only as strong as the foundation it's built on.

A truly amazing finale to a wonderful series

Part of me is sad this series is ending but Claimed by the Orc Commander is the finale the series deserves in spades.

Korg, the Horde Vanguard Sergeant and Serena the Imperial Court's representative to the Orc Horde, are thrown into a fight for their lives as well as their people's. A massive lie, started and fed by Serena's father, is leading to the death of all Orcs, and the demotion of the Imperial Court. Their love and dedication to the protection of the Horde and the.innocent humans is up.against her father, his armies, his fortune, and his lies. Fair fight, never.

This book chronicles their journey to out her father's treachery and treason in time to.save the innocent. Mercenaries, Blizzard's, Treachery, Deaths, Years of Distrust, and a pause that isn't a pause but a clock clicking down to death.

The love and loyalty between Korg and Serena is strong as iron and tender as first love. Their happily ever after is hard won, well deserved, and something you can read with tears and satisfaction..

Cannot give a high enough recommendation to read this series and this book. I am in awe of the writing and will read this over and over.

Great conclusion

I really enjoyed these books. Each was it's own story, however, proceeded thru a final conclusion. So much action in this final book. Great, strong FMC with an equally strong & devoted MMC. I will miss these guys.

Good, but not as tight as prior books

The storyline is strong. The editing is not. The word 'intense' is overused and the editing in general makes the last third of the book difficult to read. The story is fun regardless.

Good read📜

Serena daughter of the magistrate is abducted to halt the magistrate's ability to advance a war. Korg is chosen to guard her. Intrigue is the name of the game. Enjoy the journey!

Poorly edited, sometimes illogical storyline

The story idea was creative but the execution was poor marred by conflicting story components, poor sentence structure, poor grammar, poor editing. It seemed to be hastily put together.

I’m new to orc books but this series sold me! The hero’s are perfection. The heroines are strong and intelligent. Please don’t stop writing books like these. You just became one of my new favorite authors. 🖤

If you enjoyed the first three - stop there. this book makes no sense…

And is not consistent with the previous ones, in top of constant editing errors and missing words. Why does korvak suddenly only have one eye? Why is it suddenly three years later but still somehow the same first wi ter/spring from the prior books? How is it enemies to lovers when the characters are friendly from the start? Why is there suddenly and empire? I enjoyed the first three stories in Thai series. Nothing was groundbreaking but they were competently written and inconsistencies were minor enough to be forgiven for what they are (tropey light entertainment) - but this is a mess.
