Sometimes the bravest thing a woman can do is start over.
At the Colony, a sun-soaked, over-fifty-five community on Florida’s Gulf Coast, a group of women are each quietly navigating change. They’re all carrying different histories—careers won and lost, marriages that didn’t turn out as planned, dreams reshaped by time and circumstance.
Paige has already reinvented herself. Her life looks good from the outside, but what she wants most is something slightly harder to real friends. When she starts a book club, she unknowingly creates a space where the women she’s invited—each strong, complicated, and searching in her own way—finally begin to connect.
There’s Cece, the journalist learning how to rebuild after everything fell apart, Maude, the fiercely independent business owner questioning whether she’s truly closed the door on love, Essie, the devoted wife facing uncertainty with grace, and Blaise, the former model stepping into a quieter life while learning who she is without the spotlight.
As beach days blend into shared meals, quiet confessions, and moments when one woman’s strength carries another, the group begins to transform. What starts as a simple book club becomes something deeper—a sisterhood. A place where these women learn that being a Queen Bee isn’t about standing above others but standing beside them.
A New Chapter is a heartfelt, uplifting novel about friendship, resilience, and the unexpected power of finding your Queen Bees when you need them most.

Just finished this great book and ready for the release of number two in the series. Maggie Miller is a wonderful author. I was anxiously waiting for this series. Several ladies come together in their community to form a tight friendships and book club. A MUST read.
I am a huge fan of Maggie Miller’s books and A New Chapter certainly didn’t disappoint. My only complaint is having to wait until the next book in the series is released so I can catch up with what the Queen Bees are up to next. I highly recommend Maggie Miller’s series to women’s fiction fans who enjoy the books they read character driven.
Yahoo for the Queen Bees. They are making changes to their own lives and helping others move forward with their lives. I enjoyed learning about each of them and am looking forward to book 2.
