Easily one of the best retellings of Norse mythology, I actually like this one more than Neil Gaiman's Norse Mythology, which I've read like 3 times and cried each and every time.

This is a more faithful retelling than Gaiman's, told in an order that makes more sense, and reads more like a campfire story.

a good kind of updated retelling of the tales from the edda. they are done in a storytelling type flow instead of prose.
