2.5 Stars!

I had high hopes for the continuation of this story. A few of my predictions from the first book was confirmed but other than that I was getting irritated with the characters. It was a lot or repetition and it honestly took me way too long to read this book. For Prime to have been an assassin, he always seems lost. Does he not have more connections? This is wild to me. This so called "war" was week to me and honestly Zainab has too much going on. I would have DNF'd it but I really wanted to confirm something, which I did. I don't know if I will read book 3.

It took me FOREVER to read this book. It just seemed to drag on and on, but I was determined to finish it. This book reminded me why I don't read a lot of M/F books because most female characters get on my nerves. Serenity, are you stupid?? You're really mad that your brothers did what they were supposed to do which is protect you, and make sure people know you are not to be messed with?? It's not like they killed your ; they dealt with him and gave him the opportunity to come clean to you. And you're upset Trying to put this on your brothers because you want to make your own decisions was wild. They left both of them alive, and let them walk away, for you to deal with them. Instead, . Just dumb!

Zainab - ma'am, in the first half you were pissing me off. After all Prime has done for you, now you wanna be out here being independent and what not, KNOWING at the first sign of trouble you're going to call Prime to bail you out of it. Did it really make a difference if Prime drove you to your father's hospital and you walked in from the parking lot?? With everything going on, you had to drive there yourself? Just annoying. It got better in the second half, but the first half had me taking a break from these two idiots.

The sex scenes - I started skipping them by 60%. How do you have a sex drive when you have no clue what's going on with Yusef?? Like are you worried, or no?? Skim. Skim. Skim.

Mehar - I'm glad Mehar found her freedom and her strength, but I really have zero interest in her journey as some kind of Queenpin so if that's where Book 3 is leading, I will be skimming that.

The situation with Meech was sad, and my poor Yusef. I really hope he finds his way back to himself and to happiness. The things this child has lived through. Ugh.

The end. Wow. That made me look forward to Book 3 because some people have some stuff coming to them that is going to be delicious. As usual, Prime is...sigh. I love that man so hard.

WOW WOW

WOW I don't even have words for this, the second story in this series is so freaking real with Prime and Zainab aka(Zahara) the chaos with these two are a lot and there's so many triggers then you may not want to read it.But Prime, Zainab, the brothers with both sisters and Grandma Rita were wonderful together but I wanted to hurt a few villains as well, but It's a dark romance full vengeance, death, rape, action and lots of spice. I didn't think that going into this book was going to ruin me but I'm stunned and emotionally wrecked, but OH MY GOD, WHAT JUST HAPPENED, I'm not into street language and the abuse domestic or child I mean there's words in it that even I don't like but this story pushes all the buttons even though its a good story and I really cannot say enough good things about it. I really don't know how to comment thoroughly on it, not only do we get our fix of fantasy and romance of the lovers and really bad guys, but the raw emotion that is written into this story is unmatched. There's pain and torment, with the angst of love so strong that words are just simply not enough to describe it. But this author does an exceptional job putting words to and describing things that we all can relate to and can feel on a cellular level whether you want to or not. Prime, Zainab and Yusef and their families have burrowed their way into my heart with my tears and I'm not sure I'll ever be the same. WOW I'm not sure how I'm going to survive this story. It's THRILLING, PULSE-POUNDING, PAGE TURNING and it WILL KEEP YOU ON YOUR SEATS UNTIL THE VERY END! Their story is full of intrigue and suspense as well as lots of drama along with another cliffhanger Omg! I can't, I just can't. This book has killed me! I'm dying, Send help! Seriously 😂! I'm excited for the next story Whew I Highly recommended this if you can bring yourself to read this one!

Trauma and Drama

Prime II: The Banks Empire is a gripping drama that keeps readers on edge, with relentless twists and emotional turmoil as the author leads the reader to believe-Banks family might have a ending that can be filled with love and happiness..but this dream seems ever distant.

The matriarch, Vivica Banks, is depicted as malign and relentless, portrayed with intense conviction. Many readers may hope that, in Book 3, the Banks children find peace and that Vivica faces consequences for the chaos she sows.

The pacing is quick, driven by a flurry of events that make the book hard to put down. There are moments where the author’s repetition in certain scenes stands out—whether deliberate to represent the tension or simply a stylistic choice—please note readers this may test your patience. Yet hold onto that commitment to continie pushing toward the end and holding on to “happily ever after” is coming...

Although the author leads to the narrative that love will overcome at some point where it seems the ending might finally arrive, only to be interrupted by more trauma and drama from Vivica and Thad.

To readers seeking the happily ever after I ask will the final installment allow some happiness to bloom for the family that has endured so much? If the author’s aim is to explore endurance and confrontation with trauma, this installment certainly delivers, while inviting readers to hope for a more hopeful ending in the next book.

Listen… I already knew what Prime was capable of. I KNEW.
But I was still holding my breath waiting to see how Book 2 was going to open.

And baby… the mess? Full throttle. No brakes.

Prime is out here putting out fires left and right protecting, plotting, moving pieces but at the same time? He’s lighting a few small flames of his own that are definitely threatening to turn into a full-blown inferno later. And I love a man who is willing to go scorched earth behind his woman… I just don’t know what’s going to be left standing when the smoke clears. 😮‍💨

The stakes are higher. The enemies are bolder. The pressure is heavier.

Will they rise above everything trying to tear them down?
Is there a line Prime won’t cross?
And what happens when the people working against him almost succeed?

Book 2 had me STRESSED but in the best way possible. The kind of stress where you’re locked in, flipping pages faster, heart racing, needing to know what happens next.

N’Dia Rae has me completely invested in this world. I’m eating these books up and asking for seconds.

If you started Prime, there is no stopping at Book 1. Just accept that you’re in this now. 🔥📚

This one was even better than book one and I was already locked in from the start. The stakes were higher, the emotions hit harder, and everything felt more connected. I finally understood why Zainab moved the way she did, and honestly, I can’t even be mad at her anymore. Her backstory added a whole new layer that was needed. Yusef’s storyline broke my heart. That was heavy, and I wasn’t expecting it to hit like that. A lot of the characters were forced into situations where there was no good choice, and you really felt that. Now let’s talk about the chaos.

Farah went from annoying to concerning real quick. I didn’t care for her, but what happened to her with Thad was not deserved at all. That situation alone added a different type of weight to the story. And just when I thought things were wrapping up, the ending flipped everything. Thad being tied to her past, Zainab getting arrested, and Vivica still moving funny… yeah, that was a lot to process in the final stretch. There are still a lot of unanswered questions, but it doesn’t feel incomplete. It feels like everything is building into something bigger, and I’m already moving straight into book three.

Trauma twist and turns

I had no idea that this story would be a three piece meal! But I keep coming back for more. I am back on the edge of my seat. How much more can these two bear? Prime an Salman have been through he'll and back only to be plunge d back into distress again.

If you are looking for a book series that leaves you shocked at the amount of distress a couple can survive while needing the HEA because they've been thorough enough and it's time for them to just be...normal? But badass too? Then this is the series that will feed that need. I love PRIME my heart is soft for him because at a young age his mother sacrificed him to the prison pipeline. He survived but it cost him a piece of his humanity.

I love Zainab/Zahara her love for family intelligence and survival skills are what has kept her and Yuesef alive.

It's the many enemies and threats that keep bodies stacking and traumatic problems for people who come for them. And,so I wait impatiently for part 3. Because one thing for sure there will be bloody retribution.

Double Chef’s Kiss

Like the last book, this book was everything from beginning to end. The storyline and writing ate. That 💣 that was dropped at the end of book 1 blew up in book 2. Loved the OG grandma Rita. Loved the backbone Mehar found with the strength of Z & PRIME having her back. Hope she is not a monster in the making. Poor Yusef, I hope this child gets some peace and gets to enjoy some of his childhood. I’m glad Demetrius stepped up and was not going to let anyone hurt his son.
PRIME did everything in that bentley bentayga. Love me some PRIME he took on this woman and all her baggage and has been knocking down problem after problem to keep her safe. Now Farah is delusional but she didn’t deserve what Thad did to her. Rashid shouldn’t get to live out his last days in peace with Farah with all the hell he caused. That 💣 at the end has Vivica all over it. I hope someone takes her out soon. I hope Z and PRIME find some happiness they both have been through hell. Can’t wait to read the next book. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

OMGOSH… where do I even begin without ruining this for everybody else? 😮‍💨
This book had me emotionally invested from start to finish. I am more than ready—overdue ready—for Zainab and Yusef to finally get the happy ending they deserve. The way they’ve been tested? Whew.

Now let’s talk about the villains because baby… I am tired. I am so over Vivica and Rashid. And while karma has already started clocking Rashid right on schedule ⏰, I am patiently (and aggressively) waiting for Vivica to get everything that’s coming to her. No crumbs. Full plate.

That ending though???
Absolutely did not see it coming.
One of those endings that makes you sit there like: “Wait… WHAT?!” and immediately need the next book.

This installment was tension, drama, loyalty, betrayal, and slow-burn payoff all wrapped in one. If you’re locked into The Banks Empire, just know—this one hits.

Phoenix & Spice approved.
If he didn’t shake your spirit, he didn’t make the shelf 🌶️🔥

When Your World Just Keeps Changing

Prime played no games and he let the Trainer know that his job was done!!!…He is more superior and the skills that were taught has only been more strategically mastered!!!…
My whole heart broke for Yusef!!!…That baby has been carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders for so long and all he wants do is be a child, that loves to play the piano, chess and video games!!!…
Brandi knows she was in denial until the end!!!…She allowed her so to terrorize other children, run the streets and then shocked that one of those children was tired!!!…There is only so much a child can take!!!…
Vivica has all these skeletons and steady opening doors on other ppl secrets!!!…I will be so happy when someone turn her WHOLE WICKED WORLD upside down!!!…
Thad is sooo disgusting to me and I can’t wait til everyone find out what he has been up to!!!…
Now we need to free Zainab!!!…

Prime II: The Banks Empire

Oh my goodness!!! Lawd, this series is so good!! The plot twist, the unhinged madness, Grandma Rita with her comic relief. This is some good reading.

First, I knew Rashid wasn't who he portrayed himself to be. He had an ulterior motive when it came to Prime. True, he wanted him to take over his empire but only if he stayed in line. And Prime would have if Rashid hadn't messed with his family.

Then there is Vivica's trifling ass. Who needs a mother like her? No one. She can kick rocks. Her day is coming, and I don't know if it will be Prime, Zainab, one Mehar who delivers justice. Something tells me Mehar is not going to let this slide.

Next up Thad. I can't wait until Prime finds out about what he did to Zahara and Farah. His days are numbered.

This is an awesome series. I can't wait for the finale!!!

ok

This book was redundant honestly it was like serenity words were copy and pasted for Z. At about 35% I just started skimming and skipping because it was so dang predictable.

****** SPOILER*******

The only surprise was that it was Thad but you already knew from the setup that it would be someone Prime was cool with who killed her sister. From the cliff hanger I can tell it’ll change and say it wasn’t Thad. I’ll still skim book three to confirm.

Also, I was just annoyed because Z kept coming down on Prime for being over protective and controlling but only when he didn’t do what she said but the entire two books was him coming in to play captain save em. Literally his only beef was his momma everything else was because of her.

Overall a decent read but it got boring and redundant.

5 🌟

This one is pretty dark but i literally could NOT put it down.

From the writing , romance , drama I was entertaineddd.

I understand Zanab a lot more this book , shes a survivor and has been since she was a baby. Her unwavering love for her sister and nephew is so apparent.

Prime , what a mannnn I mean I think he takes the crown for the best book boyfriend. He was devoted , obsessed, enamored and in love with Zanab. The way he kissed the ground she walked on , he never thought to leave her after she lied to him the entire book one lmaoooo.

Yusef, such a fighter I mean geesh what more can happen to a kid? I hope we see him overcome everything next book because hello? He got not one page of peace.

The plot was very good , this is a great continuation of book 1. The way N’dia reels you and surprises you is insane. What a great mind.

Excited to read the next book !

When I say, I’d love to be a character in THIS universe for all intents and purposes to SEE them in action! Y’all!!!
If I don’t know anything about this author’s pen, I know it’s gonna be some 🔫🔫🔫💰💰💰❤️❤️❤️
Z went through hellllll and Prime came in clutch from Day One. We see the reason behind her decision to keep secrets and the ending!? Oh. Emm. Gee. Even with Grandma Rita and her 🌹 I’m in need of a cute lil novella to take the edge off so I can get some sleep, but, 🤓 tomorrow morning I’m getting to book three! I’d never let these villains make it outta book two but, I digress…

I couldn’t wait for part 2 to come out, so much so that I stopped reading my current book to see what was going on with Prime! This book is amazing! It’s filled with character depth, spice, action, drama, and secrets exposed. We’re also introduced to new characters and I’m looking forward to seeing how their story unfolds. I can tell you one thing, I am so sick of Vivica lol… I mean she has it all. Why can’t she just let her kids be? I need a happy ending in part 3 lol. In the mean time I’m going to hop over to the King brothers and see what’s up with them while I wait for part 3. This is a must read!

Straight fire!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I am so ready to read the next installment! Prime is the man all day everyday!! Zainab been holding it down and she finally realizes her dream until that thang that is Prime’s egg donor messes that up. I won’t give it all away but that thang that is Prime’s egg donor needs her a** straight whooped! I don’t even want to say her name. Lol

Yusef… that’s all I can say except I hope he starts back playing chess and the piano. Mehar is going to be hell and I cannot wait to see it. It was good to see the Kings show up too. This read is EVERYTHING!!

N'Dia Girl...

part 2 is great follow up to the first part. I love the crossovers between the Kings and Banks. Crazy how all of their lives were connected. Two issues: 1) Why didn't you categorize these on amazon so people know its book 1 of 3? sometimes I like to know its a series before I jump right in. especially helpful of you came here from the King series and they're all standalones 2) Why is Rashid, Farah, and Kasim alive? Even in the fiction world, a man like Prime would have left no loose ends and that's 3 in the same family lol patiently waiting for part 3

Awesome Book 🔥🩷🔥🩷🔥

This series is so good I can’t wait for part three. They have woken the beast up in Prime. They know he doesn’t play about the people he loves. His mother needs to pay for all her evil deeds. I hope he has the video of her and her assistant since she wants to play with his woman freedom. Prime and Zainab makes a beautiful couple, can’t wait for their happy ever after, also I feel so bad for Yusef he just wants to be a happy carefree boy. I feel that Prime will help him speak again. N’Dia keep up the great work.

This book is an action-filled read.

This book definitely had me in my feelings. When it came to Yusef, I was done. Prime is serious about his love for Zainab and Yusef; they are his family, and he doesn't play about them. He is vicious. I guess you have to be with the life he leads. The author keeps the action going during this book. It's always something, and you find yourself definitely invested in every character and what they're going through. Definitely worth the read. The author did a wonderful job.

This just keeps getting better and better!

This was a real emotional read! So much happened with Yusef! Rashad was crazy and very abusive, what he did to Yusef should have gotten him killed! His daughter Farah was as delusional as ever. Prime and Zainab just got to a normal point and now Ms. Vivica has reared her ugly head again! I believe this time she will definitely meet the monster in her son! Hopefully they all survive, the next novel is sure to bring out all the hidden secrets, family stuff and all the skeletons are going to be falling out the closets!

Problematic

So the plot thickens. And overall, the story was still engaging except that there were several major violations within the storytelling. Parts of the plot fell apart regarding a death - and without that continuum, reading it became distracting. The revelation of a major character became confusing within the characters' inner circle, and as a result everything became distracting.
Hopefully, my comments as I read will be adequately addressed and so I'm off to read the third installment. Like I said earlier, the story is still engaging.

We got right to the drama with this one and it definitely did not stop. The ending sets us up for what should be an explosive finale.

With the exception of redundant sex scenes and the editing being lackluster (repetitive, each chapter ending in the same cadence), the things that happened in this part were CRAZY to say the least.

We got character development, death, torture, revelations that have to be addressed ASAP because THAD?!

Overall I give part 2 Four stars and I’m hopping into part 3 immediately.

WOW!!!

Really enjoyed the first book in the “Prime” Trilogy and the second did not disappoint! There was so much I could relate to on an emotional level. There’s a great balance of suspense, little bit of comedy, thriller and action, and of course the love between Zainab and Prime! Even as a reader it feels like they’ve known each other longer than they actually have. Zainab is such a warrior, as well as Yusef. Prime has so many layers. I’m glad that Prime’s story was broken up, it gives real room to really get to know the characters, and the different points of view helps with this a great deal! Beautiful job!!!

Prime & Prime II were my first introduction to this author... And she did not disappoint! Calculating, ruthless, loyal and sexy...that's Prime. I cheered for Zainab, Mehar and Grandma Rita. My heart broke for Yusef. And at the end, I actually felt sorry for Farrah. These characters take you through so many emotions but the story was more than satisfying. Can't wait to read more of N'Dia Dad's work.

Now N'Dia why did you send my blood pressure up with that ending. How I wanted to come through this book and do something bad to Rashid, Vivica, and Farah. But I can lie I felt away about Prime cutting her whole ear off then Thad violated her. And Vivica ouuuuweeeee she played the game dirty so when you take her down through DERE!!!! Do her so dirty. And if audacity was a person it gotta be THAD.... And when it's his turn make his get back slow and painful.
