Cat lovers will absolutely purr over Rachael Hale's photographs of playful kittens, cats of all colors, and fancy felines. Page after page, charming and amusing photos invite the reader into a world of furry fun. Authors Wells, Fleishauer, and Adams take turns sharing their own cat tales, encouraging readers to look at life through the bright eyes of their pets. Skillfully woven into the heart of each sweet story is a gentle reminder of God's love and faithfulness. Every cat lover will be inspired to curl up with this cozy little story collection and appreciate their feline friend even more. It's all about cats--soft and warm, cuddly and cute, sometimes finicky but definitely fun!
M.R. Wells has written extensively for children’s television and video programming, including several Disney shows, the animated PBS series Adventures from The Book of Virtues, and the action video series Bibleman. She lives in California with three dogs and two cats.
If you enjoy cats, if you are a Christian -- or are considering this as your faith walk -- you need to read this book! An inspiring, sometimes comical, look at how cats impact our lives and our faith journey, the authors' stories will have you chuckling, smiling, crying, thinking and reflecting. A delightful book!
Only reason I gave this book 2 stars was what little their was about cats I enjoyed, The rest of the book was all about religion that I didn't like at all
In my opinion it wasn't the most amazing collection of devotionals or anything, but it was cute. Cat lovers will enjoy this as I did! Some of the devotions were really comforting, meaningful or funny and that is what made the book worth reading to me. I found a few of the stories a bit cheesy. Overall it was cute and easy, light reading.
i didn't know rachael hale could take photos of cats that look unpleasant and uninteresting. matched only by some of the most cruel devotions i've read.
