After solving the many mysteries of her tragic past. FBI agent Emma Griffin has gone on to marry and live a fulfilling life. Although she can’t change her past, she continues to bring justice to the world.
She is called to a tragic, grim case involving a teenage girl. The girl was the victim of cyberstalking. She was home alone while her parents were away on vacation. The assailant broke in through the garage and killed her.
Uncovering the clues sends Emma down a twisted path. And soon more chaos shakes the town as another teen is found murdered. Accompanied by a string of cryptic messages like the previous victim.
Secrets can be poison, and the truth of this case will destroy many families.
I really love these books with Emma. Her creative way of solving crimes is so interesting. And there's a lot to follow but its written in a way that is easy to read and understand. After all the books with her, she becomes a familiar person that I will miss if this series ends. So intriguing and enlightening, she along with her chosen family are a part of my life.
Emma Griffin is a force to be reckoned with. She has such a sharp mind that she can do as much as a whole team. And this time she follows the tracks of cyber bullies who were becoming victims themselves. But why? Don't worry Emma can figure it out. And hopefully in the next book she'll take care of Doe.
In this story Emma sees the negative impact of social media on adolescents and how it can harm mental health and families. Not only is this story about social exclusion but also online bullying and psychological torture. It's an interesting although unexpected ending to this case (for me). I'm interested in the next book to learn more about Doe's life.
Teenagers are being killed one by one in what appears to be revenge for them surviving a car crash. FBI Agent Emma Griffin is called in to solve the case. This one is twisty and full of surprises that will leave you guessing all the way up to the end! Don't miss this one!
As usual, Emma has my head spinning! The way she thinks is astounding. Love that she gets help from Xavier again. The sourdough stories are hilarious! Don’t want her stories to ever end!
From start to finish this book had me at the edge of my seat. I can always count on Emma to solve the case even though I still don't know how she does it. Hooray A J Rivers you did it again.
This was an excellent story about Emma looking who killed some young girls and why and with her excellent skills and mind finds who done it with lots of suspense and drama and action. Thank you for this awesome story.
The mystery in this book was good but the expectation was it would be about “Doe” and Doe appeared only at the beginning and end of the book. Seems must continue on to next book to again catch up with Doe. If that had not been the expectation, would have rated this book a 4.
Disappointed that Doe wasn’t found or even looked for after Emma got there because she was missing. It’s like she was forgotten and put on the back burner for another time.
Too much explaining and rambling on. It makes so bored I just want to put the book down. Unfortunately the last few books in the series have been like this.
