Book 13 is yet another direct continuation of the previous book. The expedition is still ongoing.
The title of the polish edition can be translated into "A Secret Of The Black Mountains"

In book 12 the love story of Armis has already ended as soon as it began.
The two groups responsible for prisoners have already accomplished their goals.

Now in book 13 the main action begins...

Night eye, the chosen one together with Marco, Shira and Maar are heading towards the source of good water. Night eye is the main character, for the first time in the series.

Why the low rating? I found everything to be way too lame. There's just no tension. Everyone is too lucky, too powerful, there's the plot armour and a power of friendship and love. All it came down to is waiting for an obvious outcome.

Now that expedition is over I wonder, I wonder what will happen next. I have to admit that the ending left me curious, I hope that the next book will be better.
