Having infiltrated the Axis, the Daleks have secured access to a myriad alternative realities and, with them, countless Gallifreys... every one with secrets to be plundered.
As her new world falls to the might of the Dalek invasion force, Romana finds herself struggling to keep her friends alive as the Capitol collapses around her.
Against all odds, there may be a way out — back to the Axis and, potentially, back home. But desperate times call for desperate measures and, ultimately, sacrifices...
I get chills listening to Extermination every single time.
Romana is a bad-ass. -

Daleks refer Romana as UNIT 117 any time: >:( Romana finally snapping and getting to torture some daleks: :D
Slyne is such a mixed bag of a Time-Lord. You never truly know which side he's actually on, but I like to think like Narvin in some ways, he's on his own side.
What a great opening for series 6! Our heroes fight to save the alternate Gallifrey from a Dalek invasion. I loved that Romana got her hands dirty in this one; the plot was fast paced and engaging and left me wanting more.
Blasphemy among certain fans to say this, but Extermination is a mediocre episode. It's kind of boring... Yes, the door scene and Romana's speech to the dalek are great, but otherwise? It's an hour of little happening and quite a dull invasion.
