About the author

Mirza Ghulām Ahmad was an Indian religious figure and founder of the Ahmadiyya movement. He claimed to be the Mujaddid (divine reformer) of the 14th Islamic century, the Promised Messiah (“Second Coming of Christ”), the Mahdi awaited by the Muslims in the latter-days, and a “subordinate prophet”, with some qualifications. He declared that Jesus (Isa) had in fact survived the crucifixion and later died a natural death, after having migrated towards Srinagar, Kashmir in India and claimed that he had appeared in the spirit and power of Jesus. His claims, teachings, writings, prophecies and religious activities caused grave concern particularly in the Christian and Muslim religious circles.

He traveled extensively across the subcontinent of India preaching his new religious ideas and ideals and won a sizable following. He is known to have engaged in numerous debates and dialogues with the Muslim, Christian and Hindu priesthood and leadership. Ghulam Ahmad founded the Ahmadiyya movement in 1889. The mission of the movement, according to him, was the propagation of Islam in its pristine form.

Ghulam Ahmad authored around 80 books on various religious, spiritual and theological issues. Many of his books bear a polemic and vindicatory tone. He promoted the peaceful propagation of Islam and emphatically argued against the necessity of Jihad in its form of physical fighting in the present age.

الحكومة الإنجليزية، والجهاد".. لـ مرزا غلام أحمد عليه السلام.

فهذا الريفيو لهذا الكتاب ليس مجرد ريفيو عادي، وذلك لأن الكتاب غير عادي.

أينما ذُكر مرزا غلام أحمد عليه السلام _الامام المهدي والمسيح الموعود_ عند مُعارضيه في الوقت الحال، ذُكر معه موالسته للنظام الإنجليزي، ولم يخجل البعض أو يتراجع بوصفه عميل وخائن، وينعتوه بأنه الطفل المُدلل للنظام الإنجليزي، والذي كبره النظام ورعاه، وجعله إمام مهدي ومسيح موعود ليسيطر على عقولنا!
في الوقت الذي أُتهم فيه مرزا غلام أحمد قبل كتابته هذا الكتاب، بأنه ضد النظام الإنجليزي، بل ويدعو للجهاد ضده!
أليس هذا بالهراء بالله عليكم!

إنه الهراء بلا شك، لأن مرزا غلام أحمد عند رفضه للخروج عن نظام الحكم الإنجليزي، ورفض مبدأ الجهاد ضده، لم يكن ذلك لشيء سوى اتباعه لتعاليم وأوامر دينه.
والتي ترفض الخروج عن الحاكم، ما دام عدلًا، ولا يتدخل في العقائد الدينية لأي مواطن، ومحافظًا على أداء واجباته تجاه رعاياه، ولا يحرض أحدًا على أحد. خاصة وأن النظام وقتها كان يعمل على نهضة البلاد، مقارنة بحكم السيخ فيما قبل، والذي حرم المسلمين من ممارسة شعائرهم الدينية، وكان يقتلهم لأتفه الأسباب.

عزيزي القارئ الرافض للمعرفة، المُتحامل فقط لكونك مختلف معه في الآراء، أنصحك بقراءة ذلك الكتاب بنظرة حيادية، علها تصحح مفهومك عن الدين عامة والجهاد خاصة. ولتعديل وجهة نظرك في مرزا غلام حتى وإن لم تتفق معه في فلسفته.

وأنصحك أيضًا بقراءة كتاب "القتل باسم الدين" لخليفة المسيح الرابع مرزا طاهر أحمد. لتكون النظرة مُلمة وشاملة عن ماهية الجهاد، وأسباب وشروط القتل، لتعرف متى ترفع السيف، ومتى تُغمده.
والأهم من ذلك لتعرف أن للجهاد فروع أخرى اعظمها جهاد النفس.

الكتاب رائع بحق، سأقيمه بخمسة نجوم.
