Dana LeeAnn lives for the dark side of romance—the stalkier, the better. She originally used writing as an outlet to heal herself, but found it addictive, and has never stopped. Her books are packed with suspense and questionable love interests that will leave your heart racing at the turn of every page. When she’s not dreaming up new ways to torture her characters (and readers), she can be found in northern Colorado, exploring the mountains or dragging her husband into a new project around the house.
This novella can be read as a standalone or for full character experience. Ur gonna wanna read the other 2 books in the series. This is a very fast-paced Valentine's Day erotica novella. I love how Luke will do anything to make Serafina happy even become her masked stranger. This is a very good erotica holiday novella, and I can't wait to see what is next with these 2.
Roses are red. Vines are green. He's the darkest Valentine I've ever seen. The FMC wakes up in a vineyard with no memory of how she got here.
Black heart balloons drift between twisted grapevines, and somewhere in the darkness, he's watching. Waiting. When his voice cuts through the cold February night, commanding her to run, she obeys without question.
But every predator should remember: sometimes the prey has claws of her own.
Valentines in the Vineyard by Dana LeeAnn is a fun, fast paced, intense, thriller/suspense spicy dar romance novella.
She is being hunted and chased like prey and led into a waiting trap. My heart was pounding from excitement and suspense as to what would happen next.
I recommend this lovers of spicy dark romance.
Please see trigger warnings.
Thanks to the author Danna LeeAnn for the gifted eARC in exchange for an honest review.
Luke has done it again. Manifested and brilliantly performed a phenomena, experiencing explosions of joy in a realm readers like us dream about, but it turned into a nightmare. What I'm about to say will shock many people, and I'm often questioned about it, but it's the truth. If there are clusters of balloons in a room, call paramedics immediately. Only two things frighten me, and one of them is the sight of helium-filled balloons floating around aimlessly. AND so, as some readers gasped in admiration at the scenario, I felt suffocated, unable to breathe, and profoundly concerned for the main character's survival. (Bitch run …. Out the door..)
As the events continue to unfold my blood pressure remain elevated as a very interesting turn of events takes place in the vineyard.
All in all another great adventure
But…
..I will say I feel strongly that a trigger warning should have been provided about them hideous scary heart balloons … just saying …
The role reversal in this was a great touch, spicing up the novelty that's been getting dull by this third instalment.
Some parts got a little repetitive, but the way Luke managed to step up his game in showing just how much he loves Seraphine, and in the trust they share, makes this an enjoyable ride all the same.
I said it before and I’ll say it again! This girl knows how to write a great holiday theme dark romance! It’s sweet, it’s dark, it’s spicy and it’s fun! If you haven’t read these novellas what are you waiting for. Love this couple and their connection and hot they grow through the seasons!
“Roses are red. Wine is divine. If he won’t hunt you through a vineyard, he’s not worth your time.”
This is such a cute, spicy little Valentine’s Day novella! Luke & Sera are back at it again with such a fun one! 🍇❤️🌶️ If you liked Pounded in the Patch & Taken in the Tree Farm - you’ll love this one! I will say, there was a bit of a surprise plot twist in there that i absolutely D E V O U R E D 🤌🏻🤭🔥 I loved it so much!
OMG i have been waiting for this arc and Dana never disappoints. It was sweet and short novella full of details and fun (iykyk 😮💨👀) love these two and their relationship😍🥹.So adorable and just perfect 👀✨️
omg I love this little series🤭🤭 each one was a different holiday🤭🤭 I want more of those👀👀 even more like the twist!!! I was not expecting that and it was so damm hottt 🤭🤭
In the vineyard what could possibly happen on Valentine’s Day 💞
Seraphina, wakes up lying in the dirt, a red silk dress adorns her body and ludicrously high stilettos on her feet surrounded by red lights, black balloons and music playing all around. A voice from the speaker tells her to ‘run’. Kicking off the shoes, she runs through all the vines, the rows of frozen earth away from the voice. Unfortunately, the shadow is closer than she assumes as she runs into a deeper part, a man with a mask appears….

It’s a quick Valentine read and follows on in the series. Lots of spice, a little turn of events and immeasurable love ❤️
Full transparency I loved the first book in this holiday novella series and I felt like the subsequent books have been essentially the same thing just written in a different font. Like if you were just to pick up this book without reading the others, the inner thoughts of the FMC would make sense. And I get this couple is role playing and brining fantasies to life but like she knew this was her husband and the acting like she had no clue off put me.
But what I did enjoy from the plot from the others is when the FMC uno reversed our MMC and she took control. I ate that shit up. At the end of the day, this was a fun and smutty good time.
I didn't think it could get better than Pounded in the Patch and Taken in the Tree Farm, but oh my! Seraphina came into her own on this one! It was hot! It was wild and it was everything that I hoped it would be! This took this series to another level and I loved the heights it reached. The story, the aching tension, the cat and mouse game...all of it. Luke is the man of every dark romance girlie dreams. This will forever be my favorite stalker series and I can't wait to see what else is in store!!!
Arc Review: I received this as an Arc for an honest review.
I love Luke and Seraphine! These cat and mouse themed books are so fun! I love a nice spicy novella - always. The plot twist got me though, I was 100% not expecting that. That was definitely a really fun surprise IFYKYK. Seeing all these different interactions (games) with this couple is so fun but also adorable. The spice and the games are fun and intense but seeing how they come around after and are just so blissfully happy makes me happy. I love the idea of a regular couple exploring these different things together.
I don't know man, something about being chased through a vineyard gets me curious. I've read the normal pumpkin patches, forests, corn fields, but the vineyards is so different and in a sense a little romantic. I hate for the Dark Nights series to be at an end, but I have loved the chases and adventures Seraphina and Luke had. I loved that Dana kept it with them, and not making each story a different couple.
This was so short! I finished it in 45 minutes. I have read a lot of dark romance lately, and honestly this wasn’t dark to me at all! 🫣 I loved the cat and mouse aspect of it with Luke planning a whole Valentine’s date chasing Seraphina through their vineyard - that bought as a surprise! To be transparent, I have not read the first two books. I want to so I can get background on their relationship!
If she writes it, I’m reading it. This is my third time doing an arc read for this series. It’s so much fun. I loved the twist this one had in it. I think it was such a smart move. It does get a little repetitive in books un this trope. But, this was a great way to reignite the excitement and break it up. I have been in a major book slump and have been off to a reslly slow start for the year. I enjoy getting to pick up a book like this where I can just live on the vibes and forget life for a bit.
I love this series, Taken in the Tree Farm was totally my dark romance vibe (I need to reread them from book 1 though)
Luke and Seraphina are just adorable in the most unhinged, fucked up way. I mean this man, the lengths he will go to make his woman happy are beyond what most of us could dream of. Where do we get ourselves a man like this? Their love for each other is undeniable, beautiful and wild, it's just perfect.
The twist, omg the twist! Not what I expected at all and my go I loved it and need more of it. Fingers crossed Dana keeps Luke and Seraphina's story going.
Would highly recommend this book and series to anyone that loves dark, unhinged spicy romance novellas. Read them!
ARC REVIEW This story is really well written. The detail is amazing and you can really picture everything you are reading. I don’t want to spoil anything but I love their story and how you can see their trust and growth with each other. I can’t wait to see what’s next! I definitely recommend this for a quick fun read
Just like the others before this one I loved that Luke does this just to make Seraphina's dreams come true. I cannot mention enough that I LOVED the way she got her revenge. the only thing I personally didn't enjoy was that Sera barely got to finish a sentence without trailing off or being interrupted. Highly recommend!
Fun, spicy and unexpected. Loved the predator prey dynamic, chases through the vineyard, and all the elaborate planning and details. Absolutely adored the flip and Seraphina making a power play.
"This is a hunt. And I'm the fucking prey"
"I think I want him to catch me again"
"My body isn't mine anymore....it's his, responding to his touch like an instrument he's spent years learning to play"
What a sweet and spicy combo! Luke has done it again. In this fast-paced dark romance novella, he pulls out all the stops for Valentine’s Day. I loved the plot twist, absolutely not what I expected, but I would love to see more of it I love Luke and Seraphina and their relationship so much! They’re a really loving couple with all the trust and spice.
✨ ARC Review ✨ This was the perfect dark and twisty conclusion to the series. Luke is THE MMC, setting up these scenes. I loved the twist in this one and the setting was perfect. The spice was *chef kiss* as always.
** ARC Review ** Valentines in the Vineyard is a short, spicy little gem that will satisfy that Valentines mood read craving. I love Luke and Seraphina's relationship. They are the ultimate fun couple with a lot of trust, love and spice!
Love, love, love! Having read Taken in the Tree Farm, I was excited for more in this next installment, and they didn't disappoint! I loved the twist in dominance. Amazing short story as we move into the month of Valentine!
