A sexy leprechaun who thrives on chaos grants three wishes to an American who’s about to get lucky in Ireland.
RAFFERTY When I spot gorgeous American Ella crying over her dickhead ex in the airport, my heart aches. My job as a chaos fairy is to cause mischief and mayhem, but suddenly the only mischief I want to get into is with her. I gift her a lucky charm, and instantly she’s getting everything she wants. Before I know it, she’s in my village, in my shower, and in my bed. But the more time I spend with Ella, the weaker I become. My time in this physical form is running out, and it’s going to take more than just a bit of luck for me to hold on to the woman I’m falling so hard for.
ELLA My fiancé breaks up with me outside Dublin airport, and now I’m stranded. Yep. I’ve officially hit rock bottom. But my luck starts to change when a mysterious stranger dressed like a hot leprechaun gives me a gold shamrock as a welcome to Ireland gift. Fate seems to suddenly guide my every move, and soon I’m sitting in a pub in a tiny village in Ireland, falling for a very hot and very familiar looking bartender who tells me that if I’ve been good, a leprechaun will grant me three wishes. But I don’t need three wishes, just one. Because the only thing I want is him.

Meet Rafferty — a sexy leprechaun who thrives on chaos… until he meets Ella, an American tourist who completely derails his plans 😈. Instead of causing mischief, he suddenly wants to get to know her — and do a lot of naughty things with her. Naturally, this causes a few problems, because he’s supposed to be creating chaos, not falling in love.
Rafferty was such a fun character, and I completely fell for him. He and Ella together were a blast — playful, flirty, and full of chemistry. Their relationship was lighthearted and entertaining, and I loved every moment of it.
This is a fast-paced, magical, spicy novella with a guaranteed HEA that genuinely feels like a paranormal rom-com. I had so much fun reading it.

Oh my god! This is probably one of my best reads of 2026! I was an ARC reader and I loved it! If you love books with a little bit of magic and sex then this will fulfill your spot. A short read for an in between books but a well written one.
I was lucky enough to get an ARC of this book from the Author.
This book was so quick but so cute! If you have an hour, use a wish and read this novella. I am team Raf all the way! Maybe if I'm lucky, I can get a full length novel from their future about...
Ok so I have read a few paranormal romances in my life but a HOT LEPRECHAUN who grants wishes, set in Ireland, in the 90s?? Stormy O'Hara said let me cook and she absolutely did. 🍀
If you read Stupid Cupid and fell in love with the way Stormy builds paranormal heroes who are equal parts chaotic and completely, embarrassingly down bad for their girl, then Lucky Charm is going to feel like a warm, slightly unhinged hug.
It is shorter, it is cozier, and it moves fast, but it delivers that same specific energy of a woman who had zero plans to fall in love suddenly finding herself absolutely cooked by a man who was always meant for her. (Cue: awww...)
The setting does so much work here. Small-town Ireland wrapped in late 90s nostalgia is such a specific, cozy combination, all pub warmth and folklore energy and zero smartphones getting in the way of two people actually looking at each other.
The Y2K backdrop is genuinely charming and Stormy uses it well without making it feel like a costume the story is wearing.
The love interest is the kind of character that makes you put the book down for a second just to process. A leprechaun who grants wishes and is written as genuinely, properly attractive?? The fated mates element lands because it never feels forced, more like the story was always going to end here and the characters are just catching up to what the universe already decided. 😭
The one thing I will say is that finishing this book felt like being handed the most delicious thing you have ever tasted and then being told that was the whole portion.
Stormy O'Hara keeps proving she can make any paranormal concept work, and I am going to need her to keep going.
5 out of 5 stars. Cozy, spicy, full of Irish magic and 90s charm. Also, if you like this, go read Stupid Cupid, too. K? Bye. 🍀🖤
This was such a fun and quick read! I enjoyed it so much. There are times when you need a little book that leaves you tingly and smiley and this was it.
Rafferty a chaos causing deliciously handsome leprechaun that survives on the chaos he causes finds himself outside of the airport where he helps break the heart of an American beauty who just flew across the great bond to reunite with her fiancé who just dumped her for his childhood sweetheart.
Ella who just flew to Ireland to meet up with her fiancé only to be dumped at the airport can't catch a break. With no lodging available and all flights booked for the next three days, she is pondering her life choices when a hottie dressed as leprechaun hands her a golden welcome to Ireland gift. Next thing she knows she is following some girlies on a bus to some far away festival where she is about to get the adventure of her lifetime considering the bartender looks suspiciously like the leprechaun from the airport and her next lover.
Anything can happen when you got three wishes and the luck of the Irish with you!
This paranormal romance featuring a leprechaun over St. Patrick’s Day is such a fun and charming read. The hero is delightfully mischievous—but with a twist: if he grants wishes without causing a little chaos, he literally begins to fade away. That built-in conflict adds a clever layer of tension to the story and keeps things interesting. The magical premise is both cute and creative, and the mischievous energy fits perfectly with the St. Patrick’s Day theme. The dynamic between the characters is playful, and the romance develops in a way that feels sweet despite the supernatural complications. It’s a short, fast-paced read that doesn’t overstay its welcome. Light, magical, and entertaining, it’s perfect if you’re looking for something seasonal with a bit of humor and heart. Overall, it’s a really cool and lovely paranormal romance that delivers exactly what it promises.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Look, I understand bad stuff happens, and sometimes it’s hard to control your emotions, but resorting to violence during your tantrum is an automatic yuck for me. You’ve just lost any credibility as a character and I will not be rooting for you in any capacity other than to get therapy. It’s not like this is a dark mafia book where character expectations are for violence. This was a grown woman throwing a hissy fit at the airport because of a duplicitous boyfriend. That basically ruined the book for me and I had a hard time finishing it. Also, the relationship between the main MCs came off as childish and not believable. I won’t be reading this author again.

Firstly, I loved reading a book set in Ireland right around the holiday. When you’re introduced to Rafferty he describes Ella’ as he follows her into the airport…”…walking behind her feels like I’m following some kind of holy procession.” I was sold immediately! I read this in one sitting, because I had to know the end. It also took me back to when I was a teen- VHS tapes, CD players…juxtaposed against the beauty around them- it took me to the countryside of Ireland. This is a perfect, short and steamy read to pass the afternoon or fill your evening with an HEA. I am so lucky that I got to be part of the ARC team for this book. Can’t wait to grab her next book!
In this sweet short story, our female character, Ella, travels to Dublin for a visit with her fiance's family. When she arrives all manner of things go wrong and her life falls apart. Rafferty, the local chaos king, has caused all manner of things to go wrong, for fun, but also to recharge. Once he spends a little time with Ella he falls hard and fast. Their fun, flirty relationship is sweet and proves love really does trump everything, especially when your love is unselfish. I truly enjoy reading and Ella and Raff's story and I wish for more. Thanks to the author for allowing me to read and share my honest thoughts on her work.
Thank you to Stormy O’Hara for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This was such a fun, easy read.
From the beginning, it carries that playful, lucky little sparkle that makes you want to keep turning the pages. The chemistry feels natural, and the banter between the characters gives the story a light, flirty rhythm that’s really enjoyable.
I especially liked the overall vibe — it leans into that cozy, slightly whimsical atmosphere without becoming overly dramatic. It’s the kind of romance you pick up when you want something sweet with just enough tension to keep things interesting.
For me, this lands at 4 ⭐ because while I really enjoyed the connection and the charm of the story, I wanted just a bit more emotional depth in a few moments to push it into five-star territory.
Still, it’s warm, entertaining, and exactly the kind of feel-good romance that’s perfect for a seasonal read.
This is a 4 ⭐ for me because:
• The banter felt natural and fun • The chemistry was sweet and believable • The atmosphere was cozy and charming • It left me smiling
If you love: • seasonal romance vibes • playful, flirty dynamics • small-town charm • lighthearted comfort reads
The term “chaos fairy” had my chuckle and I was very intrigued! Not only that the author literally promotes the amount of pages and how long it would typically take to reach. (Huge bonus for me when I have limited alone time) Usually - like almost everyone - we want to BE the main character (for obvious reasons). But I wanted to be Ella for the travel! To be free and travel with “no plans”. I loved the plot to this. The story went by quick and making me feel like I need to know what happens with wish #2 and the rest of that.
Lucky Charm by Stormy O’Hara is short, sweet, and utterly charming. The MMC is a delicious Irish leprechaun who completely steals the show, and the FMC is an all-American girl whose messy breakup in Ireland turns out to be the best thing that ever happens to her. Their romance is instant, magical, and full of heart—tea over kettle, indeed. I especially loved that there’s no third-act breakup, just cozy vibes and swoony chemistry all the way through.
Thank you so much to Stormy O’Hara for letting me read the ARC—this was such a fun, feel-good escape.
If slow burn and cosy is what you’re after, move on!
Dublin airport, 1990s: An American left stranded, listening to The Corrs on her trusty Walkman. A mischievous leprechaun whose job is to create just the right amount of chaos to keep the world turning… that is, until Ella catches his eye. Lucky Charm is a fast-paced, spicy short story packed with laughs, magical creatures, and adventure - I mean, who wouldn’t want to spontaneously adventure in Dublin on St Patrick’s Day?!
The read might be quick, but the emotions linger!!
Lucky Charm by Stormy O’Hara is the kind of breezy, feel‑good instalove romance you can devour in a single sitting. It leans fully into the spark-at-first-sight fantasy—two characters colliding with instant chemistry and absolutely no hesitation about diving in. The pace is quick, the banter is fun, and the heat between them lights up the page from the start.
If you’re in the mood for a low‑angst, high‑chemistry escape where attraction hits fast and the payoff is sweet, this one delivers exactly what it promises. A charming little pick‑me‑up of a read.
Lucky Charm is a whimsical, quick, and spicy read. Who wouldn’t want a little Irish luck on their side? When the FMC’s life starts falling apart at an airport far from home, the very man causing the chaos ends up being the only one who can fix it. The mischievous MMC gives her exactly what she needs while keeping the mayhem going in the best way. And of course, it all wraps up with a satisfying HEA.
This was a quick easy novella read. This was my first sexy leprechaun romance and I loved it. This book is perfect for March and St.Patty’s day season💚🍀
Rafferty was giving what he needed to👏🏼👏🏼. This book takes place over a 1 day period in what I pictured to be a cozy small town in Ireland. He finds Ella in an airport after being dumped by her fiancé and grants her 3 wishes.
This was my first Stormy O’Hara book and I will be reading more! Very spicy 🌶️…
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶🌶🌶🌶 Wow! This book was exactly what I thought it was going to be. I am a sucker for anything Irish and this book was that! It hit all my expectations and I really enjoyed it! It hooked me in right from the start and I could really feel the vibes and emotions as Stormy Wrote. The Characters were enjoyable to follow through the story. And the spice was SPICY! If your looking for a quick spicy St. Patty's day book this book is 100% for you! Thank you Stormy! 💕
What an amazing, sweet, romantic and spicy story! This book is the perfect short story for St. Patrick's Day, full of magic, adventure and a little love. Ella comes to Ireland to visit her fiancee's family and Rafe is a Leprechaun, but not a scary short one, he's hot and just wants to spread some chaos to keep his human form and keep his magic. They meet and magic and chaos does occur. With only a short time though they make the most. I absolutely loved this book! It is a definite must read!!
I received an ARC for Lucky Charm. It is a short, leprechaun/human romance, Novella. It's made to be read in one sitting.
Ella is left heartbroken and alone in a airport in Ireland. When she is given a necklace from a stranger. Rafferty is a leprechaun his job is to spread mayhem and chaos. When he sees Ella heartbroken he gives her a necklace that grants Wishes and gives luck. This was a quick read so its a insta love but Stormy makes it work. And Ella and Raff were cute together.
This is a quick read with some open door spice. Perfect for anyone wanting a dose of St Paddy's magic and a little romance too. It's a fun take on the concept of leprechauns. Character development is super fast and somewhat shallow, but it's more than I expect from most novellas. It's a fast romance and moves quickly but it's a great bedtime read for the season!
Where do I sign up for this trip to Ireland? If that’s the kind of Luck of the Irish waiting I’m in! What I love about Stormy’s books is they are exactly as described: short, sweet, a little spicy, a little whimsical and a great escape for an hour or two. This is not a long, drawn out romance. This is where they both fall fast and hard, the fear it might have all been a dream, and a surprise breeding kink. Just sit back and enjoy the small break from reality.
This fast paced novella starts off with a bang that leaves you annoyed with the FMC’s ex. Little does she know her Irish luck is changing and it will be the best day of her life. I had so much fun getting to know these two characters and playing around with the typical Leprechaun stereotypes. This was a fun St Patrick’s Day read for sure!
I received this book as an arc and am leaving my honest review
