Knot My Lover: A Cozy Fantasy Spicy Valentine's Day Romance

Rate this book
Marigold has spent her life baking love for everyone else.
She never expected anyone to bake it for her.

In a small town where packs protect their own and every street smells faintly of sugar and snow, Marigold runs the bakery everyone loves. Valentine’s Day is her busiest season — and her quiet heartbreak. She pours every secret wish for romance into pink-glazed pastries and heart-shaped treats, convinced that perfect love is something meant for other people.

After all, she already has her people.

Robbie, steady and watchful.
Milo, all warmth and laughter.
Theo, gentle and endlessly attentive.
Elias, quiet, thoughtful, and quietly romantic.

They’ve been in her life since schooldays, a constant presence she trusts with her whole heart. Best friends. Found family. Safe.

Just… not that.

But when the town’s Frost & Flour Valentine Festival throws them into a panic, Mari starts to realize the way they look at her isn’t just friendly. And the way her body responds to their nearness definitely isn’t innocent.

The truth is, the pack has been courting her for years.

She just never noticed.

As Valentine’s approaches, the Alphas finally decide to stop hiding behind jokes and quiet gestures and show Mari exactly how wanted she is. What begins as cozy comfort quickly sparks into undeniable heat, emotional surrender, and a bond that feels as natural as breathing.

This Valentine, Mari may finally get the love she’s been baking for everyone else all along.

A cozy, spicy Omegaverse romance featuring lifelong friends-to-lovers, a devoted Alpha pack, gentle dominance, found family, and a spicy happily ever after. Perfect for readers who love warmth, yearning, and heart-melting romance.

This book is sketchy at best.
Once I opened it, I immediately felt something was off. The style felt very much "chat gpt", but I figured it might be the author's style. Overtly flowery, purple prose with some strange metaphors.
Then one of the names changed for a few pages. Listen, i am a writer, I have caught myself writing the wrong name for a character. It has never made it past edits.
However, if the book was just poorly edited, there would likely be typos. But it seems strangely clean for that.

I don't like accusing anyone of using AI, because if false, such accusation would harm the writer, but considering the author's instagram only has two AI videos... don't spend your money on this.

It just makes me feel a bit angry because I have a limited book budget and I wish I hadn't spent on this likely AI slop.

It's a shame, I liked the idea and I would rather read it poorly written than written by AI

This was a cute and cozy Omegaverse book. It was a slow burn, but super cozy and sweet on the way. I liked the characters and it was a good book.
