About the author

As a missionary in Africa for two years and a senior pastor for twenty-eight years, Larry Stockstill’s ministry has been global and local. His ministry now involves winning men to Christ (Model Man), planting local churches (Surge) and strengthening character in leaders (Remnant). With six children all in ministry, he and his wife Melanie minister together worldwide strengthening the marriages and families of today’s Christian leaders.

If living a life with integrity matters, Larry Stockstill succinctly outlines what that looks like. Within a small group that I lead in a prison, men with life without parole sentences are breaking down, claiming they never knew how wrong their choices were before they lost their wives, kids, jobs -- everything! They didn't have good models as youngsters to help them make better decisions. Without those models, it is costing all of us because hurting people hurt people. So I would recommend this book to everyone who feels inadequate in any area of life (i.e. relationships, finances, decision-making, time management, setting and keeping priorities, etc.).

This is the book every man needs to read. Every father should buy a copy and do what it says. The advice is spot on. As a pastor I was encouraged, equipped and reminded of the importance of my role as a father and leader.
