I Grew up in the south side of Chicago,IL. I was born to a teenage mother who by the time she was 18 already had two kids. My Mother wasn't the best mother when it came to showing affection. I guess when you have four kids before your 30 life takes on a whole different meaning. I would say that she sort of blamed me for how things turned out because I was first to be born. And its sad to say in our culture that if your a teenage mother of one you will be a young mother of many. My mother probably had all sorts of goals and dreams but they didnt turn out the way she thought they should and in return for her failed dreams she resented me. But I managed to make it from under the shadows and stigma of her. I didnt, however do so easy. My life has been a upheel battle that I explain in grimy details in my book. I have been knocked down hard in my short 28 years of life but I managed to pick myself up and dust myself off. Im currently in the days leading up to the release of my First novel "Memoirs of a Trapstars Wife" and Attending the The Art Institute of Houston
In my most honest opinion, I simply love this storyline; however, the written version was full of unnecessary grammatical errors! I waited patiently for the final installment to go live and was a little disappointed when the date was pushed back in lieu of "making sure it was right before being released"! Even though I didn't like it, I understood the author's intention of seeking perfection; yet, while reading the story I found numerous grammatical errors and one of the main characters name went from Chase Stevenson to Chase Wilson ... I could not believe the blatant mistake but I kept reading. I kept reading because I believe in this author and I was utterly intrigued by the story and their gangster lifestyle that was based of the original Corleone Family. I would definitely caution the author to edit her work more thoroughly before releasing anything to the public ... Perfect your craft and strive for nothing less than sheer excellence ... then and only then will your most loyal readers, as well as, new readers will not mind paying for a well-written story with no complaints!!! It is my prayer that you grow from this most honest review!
First off you will need to buy The Black Corleones books 1 and 2. This storyline is just incredible it keeps you totally captivated through all of the three books. I have never cried so much from reading a series in all my life and that because Bella Jones put her soul into telling her and her family story. There is no doubt in my mind that this would make a outstanding movie. I recommend this series too everyone that loves great writing, I also recommend that everyone buy Bella Jones Memoirs of a Trap Star's Wife also. I can't wait to see what her next book will be about because I know it will also be a great read. I hope it is coming soon.
Bella Jones you are a Beast with that pen. This book was bittersweet for me. I have NEVER shed so many tears reading a book, some tears of joy others of happiness. I am really sad to see this series end but I hope it won't be the last I read about the Corleones or the Kendall's. This book deserves way more than 5 stars and will definitely go down as a classic to me.
Part three was better than Good! The Black Corleones rose to become one BAD Crew. I felt at times the storyline was too detailed and it slowed the pace. For example, too much h detail was given enough about the death , grieving of Samir. The morgue and funeral home experiences could ha e been eliminated. At other times, the story jumped ahead several months. Some grammatical errors should be corrected. Hope there is another part coming. No Sweat
Now that I've finished all three books, here's my review:
GREAT READ DEFINITELY A PAGE TURNER, one that has you anxiously awaiting getting back to it when not still reading it, wondering what's next in the story..the characters became a part of my world to the point I cried at their funerals....WHATS NEXT....
I enjoyed this series. I was heartbroken when Samir was killed although. Everybody knew Cesar's jealousy was gonna cost them. I was really sad that Meko and Seven got killed but gpad Khloe made it through because they were really gunning for her. These boys had a really good run but jealousy has taken the best organizations down and Cesar srarted it. So sad but thats generally how it goes
