Denise Hunter is the award-winning author of more than 40 novels, three of which have been adapted into Hallmark movies.

Denise writes heartwarming, small-town romances, peopled with layered characters who have real-life issues. Her readers enjoy the vicarious thrill of falling in love and the promise of a happily-ever-after sigh as they savor the final pages of her books.

In 1996, Denise began her first novel, writing while her children napped. Two years later it was published, and she's been writing ever since. Her books contain a strong romantic element, and her husband says he provides all her romantic material, but Denise insists a good imagination helps too!

Denise and her husband live in Indiana, where they raised three sons, and are currently enjoying an empty nest.

WOW!! Definitely keeps you reading

Thank you, Denise Hunter. I found one of your books at a store and came home to look you up. So glad I did. I love your books. This compiled book visits a family whose characters are in every book, and each book features and elaborates on one member of the family. You can't put it down.

Cozy smalltown, romantic, and wholesome novels. Definitely cried in most of these. But they are just so adorable and funny. Relationship obstacles, of course! But I love how the character's develop and pull through. Not gonna lie, sometimes I wanted punch something when the misunderstandings got out of hand, but that wasn't too often. Hehe

I appreciate that the author had really different storylines despite the overlap in setting and characters. The characters were fairly well developed and entertaining. This was a really light read but pleasant.

Barefoot Summer

I fell in love with Beckett right off. Strong, main character and he was a bad boy, but not really. You could tell he had feelings for Madison at the beginning. Love it.

I enjoyed the series very much. Interesting storylines about marriages made to work under difficult circumstances. A little more explicit than I would like, but not too bad.
