From New York Times bestselling author Amy Daws comes a laugh-out-loud, spicy, British sports romance series featuring four football-playing brothers, one dysfunctional family, and enough romantic chaos to earn a lifetime of yellow cards. The Harris Brothers are second generation football royalty in England, famous for their talent on the pitch and their complete inability to stay out of trouble off it.
From career-altering injuries, to media scandals, and old childhood friends coming back into their lives, these brooding, overbearing, oversharing brothers somehow manage to get taken down by the one thing they never saw coming...
Love.
But while these four brothers are busy falling headfirst into romance, another dream has always been waiting for them.
Playing together at the World Cup.
Packed with Amy Daws's signature humor, heart, steam, and family banter, this binge-worthy series follows the Harris brothers through career highs, personal mishaps, and unforgettable happily-ever-afters before culminating in the ultimate finale—chasing football glory for England on the world's biggest stage.
Because winning the World Cup is impressive.
Managing the Harris Brothers? Practically impossible.
This set features the original four Harris Brothers stories (5 full length books) plus two bonus short stories, one of which features the patriarchy of this family, Vaughn Harris.
New York Times bestselling author Amy Daws specializes in writing romance stories with laugh-out-loud humor, spicy chemistry, chaotic family dynamics, and just enough unhinged energy to keep readers turning pages long past their bedtime. When she's not plotting happily-ever-afters, Amy can be found in South Dakota where she lives with her husband and daughter. She’s often oversharing on social media, hanging out in a tire shop waiting room where her book to film adaptation Wait With Me was based, and continuing her long and deeply unreciprocated quest to become an official Fireball spokesperson.
Did you ever look at a book or box set and say to yourself, “there’s no way all those 5 star reviews are legit? It can’t be that good...”
Yeah, well - I’m here to tell you - this box set is the BEST way to immerse yourself in this saga, and it has absolutely earned the 5 stars, and more.
The stories offer an emotional rollercoaster, filled with extreme joy, profound sadness, and chaotic humor, steamy chemistry and perfect for them HEAs are all woven into chapters so engaging and addictive, you can’t stop reading. This collection has ALL the feels, and my love for this author's creativity has expanded once more. I chuckled at Tanner's antics, cried with Gareth's grief journey, cheered for Cam's battle back to the pitch, loved Vi's unwavering care and concern for her brothers, and wanted to hug Booker so hard! Just sooo good!!!
These characters, and the strong women who claimed them, will stay in my heart for a long time. I love when I am able to connect with characters like that, and appreciate this author's creativity and skills to make that happen.
PLEASE read this box set. It is absolutely worth your time to do so. Once done here, visit this author's back catalog for more unforgettable stories.
Chef kiss!! Perfect bundle to have all the Harris brothers on one audio book! I adore each of the brothers individual stories, but to listen to them in all in order and with a whole cast was just perfect! It really brought the stories together and made the experience of their stories feel even more special.
4-4 1/2 This was a $6 add on Audible from the KU. It has one novella added if audio and 2 if KU. The "new story" is NOT in the Audible version. I reread the 4th brother's story which is book 4 and 5 as it is much longer involving family and side characters, especially in the second 1/2. See individual books for reviews. Decided to reread the whole after reading the 4th brother's story again.
What a great way to bring this wonderful British family of footballers together. Each book in this sports romance series features one of the Harris brothers, and each story has it's own brand of laugh-out-loud hilarity, heartfelt emotion, and loads of swoon and steam between two completely lovable characters. This box set includes: Challenge, Endurance, Keeper, End Goal (Challenge bonus epilogue), Surrender, Dominate, and Kick Off. I loved all the fun banter between the family members as they intrude into each others lives, even as they are unconditionally loyal, loving and supportive. There is an arc that flows throughout this series that wraps up in the end. Ms Daws expertly moved this family thru all their highs and heartbreak, bringing them to their rawest point, only to build them back up, stronger than ever, and she did it with empathy and honesty, and humor. Each one of these stories brought me to tears, made me laugh out loud, and had me totally swooning. If you haven't experienced the Harris family yet, this is the perfect time to dive in! Enjoy!
"Football" Camden/Indy Tanner/Belle Booker/Poppy Garrith/Sloan Vi/Haden(no book specific to them) Vaughn (The father) this series was beautiful. a group of Harris siblings. growing, living, loving and learning. about each other, about themselves, about life. I loved each book differently. laughing, in aww of the characters and crying(because who doesn't cry when there is so much love) if I could give this series more stars I would but 5 is my only option great read. I recommend 18+
Oh, don't mind me. I'm just here, 1 am, sobbing uncontrollably from the emotional damage this set of books has wreaked upon my soul. Absolutely perfect in every way: I laughed, I aww'd, I fanned myself during the steamy stuff, I wept tears of joy and grief. After reading these books, you'll feel like a Harris too. Even if you're a smarmy American like me. I don't review often but this set deserves all the accolades. And tissues.
I could not put this series down. If you love sports romance, sibling storylines, and that addictive “just one more chapter” feeling then you’ll love this series.
Each book pulls you deeper into the family, and I am a sucker for the nicknames each MMC gives the FMC.
So easy to get hooked and so hard to say goodbye. Highly recommend!
Enjoying a good romance is one thing. Getting to know a family through each of their eyes over time is amazing. It's like watching your kids grow up in time lapse. Being a widow, the presentation of a grieving parent and the healing and perspective that a growing family provides is heartfelt. I would encourage anyone to read.
I have read Amy Daw’s newer books but headed back to her library and boy am I glad I did. This box set follows the Harris brothers, each with their own unique story. There was lots of laughs, lots of tears, and some steamy scenes. Good story lines and covered all sorts of tropes. 5* for me!
This series is so wonderful! I’m not even generally a sports romance fan, but these were fantastic. The Harris brothers are a funny family with a backstory that will make you tear up, but as adults they are strong-willed & sexy & each one finds his HEA with his perfect match.
Honestly, this is the most consistent series I’ve read. I really enjoyed all 5 books , the last book had a couple moments that were eh, but other than that….. really good.
Lots of spice, family and futebol, but more can you want?
I usually don’t like to read stories about brothers since they become repetitive. However, the Harris Brothers were not like that at all and I really enjoyed each story line.
This box set was awesome! Narration was great. I bawled my eyes out and ai laughed. This author has great emotional range for writing. You feel the grief, the passion, the sorrow, the heartache, the laughter of these characters. Unless that was just me while being luteal. LOL!
