Born in sunny California, all Harriet Caves ever wanted was to become a doctor and save lives. During her sleepless nights working at the hospital, the Regency classics were her only solace. To no one’s surprise, her British descent led her back to England to discover her roots and where her hidden passion lay: the Regency streets of London.

Though she abandoned the hospital wards, Harriet now mends hearts by transporting people back to an era of passionate love. Allow her skilled pen to take you to a special place where souls sing of love and dreams come to life!

This was a really great book! I love the characters and I love the plot. The lead male character was almost too obnoxious in this whole protection role, he assumed upon himself. There was just way too much attention to that. I don’t know if this was real in Victorian times hat they think they are gods and above men. I don’t know, but it was too much.
It had way too much graphic text, but it was still a good story
Slow and boring, a snooze fest. I read up to chapter 14 and still did not feel any real chemistry between the characters and nothing going on besides finding the baby’s mother and repetitive thoughts and conversations. I skipped to chapter 24 and guess what? Yep! They were still having the SAME repetitive conversation they were having 10 chapters ago…but we find out who the baby’s parents are thank goodness because right after I found out, I quit the book.
Going from bride to abandoned in a matter of hours! Victoria made a life for herself, with the help of her sisters and brothers, only for a baby to be left on her back door! Thinking it’s her husband’s, her fury know no end! A good story but I read this several years ago, but enjoyed it again!
The last of the sisters Victoria has married Richard to escape her mother's matchmaking attempts. After a year he is forced to return when a baby is left at Victoria home what follows is a lesson for him when her family come to their rescue in helping them solve the mystery of the baby and defeat his family's enemy.
Duke Richard finally becomes a good husband, but scandal is not far away. There is a secret & he is searching for the truth. Lady Victoria helps him search & begins to realize that she truly loves her husband..as he does in return.
A mysterious child, a very devious man out to ruin A family, a husband trying to keep his wife safe by staying away, a puzzle to keep a baby safe. A love story. Very enjoyable.
Well talk about taking the long way... Tremendous story with several "things" happening at once without giving any clues about how the various plots weave together!
