The outside world is optional. DoorDash is not.

What Sara doesn’t know is that her preferred Dasher, Dave, is the neighbor she’s been crushing on.

Dave Francis Rosenberg signs up to be a Dasher as a distraction from the pressure of respiratory therapy school—not to catch feelings. But when one customer’s orders come with witty banter and an unexpected spark, Dave finds himself looking forward to every notification.

Nice quick pacing for the plot without over/underdoing it. The characters were pretty likeable and you could feel the connection between the two characters. I definitely connected with the FMC with her interests and her feelings of betrayal as well. This book has really made me curious on the other books the author has written.

Thank you to the author for a gifted e-ARC!

Sara Mei Lin is a video game streamer, which means she spends her nights up late, surviving on DoorDash deliveries. She sparks a connection with one driver in particular, Dave, who she begins flirty exchanges with, and he soon starts including thoughtful gifts with his deliveries. But little does Sara know, Dave is the neighbor who she wished had made a move when they met 5 years ago.

This was such a cute read! I absolutely loved Sara and Dave's flirty exchanges through the DoorDash app. Don't get me wrong - I was a little skeptical about him using DoorDash as a dating app at first, but it totally worked, especially since there's a tiny bit of history between them (even if Sara doesn't initially know who he is). Although this one is pretty short, I feel like the author did such a good job building the chemistry between them and making their love story feel real.

Such a fun and quick read. Definitely gave me butterflies I absolutely loved Dave & Sara.

The fact that it touched on Pulmonary diseases, was special to me since I lost my mother to that.

The build up and banter was perfectly paced, I couldn’t wait for them to finally meet up, I knew it’d be fireworks.

Dave was HOT. That entire scene after the bar
had me bitting my nails with a smirk. The fact
that he was hiding a beast like that under his
“friendly next door neighbor” vibe was a twist
I was pleasantly surprised with.

An Arc review

A short lovely novel about love, insecurities and second chances.
I absolutely loved Sara and Dave. The book is nice fast read and is written in a dual pov.
I loved the connection between the two mc's. The way they're love is instant but the trust needs to build and how they need to overcome their insecurities.
Relatable, recognizable and lovely written.

ARC received from the author. Thank you so much.

It such a cute and fun read. Sara and Dave are a cute couple. Its a nice novella in time for valentines. Enjoyed this one so much. Also, the context of the title is cute as well. It is like something that can be used as a one liner for the app mentioned.

✨ Description

Love, Delivered is a cozy, modern rom-com novella about connection in unexpected places — specifically between a quietly attentive delivery driver and a wildly popular streamer who prefers the comfort of home. When Sara begins marking the same shopper as her preferred delivery driver, small moments of care, conversation, and shared interests slowly build into something more. What starts as convenience turns into familiarity, flirtation, and eventually, love — delivered one grocery order at a time.

💬 Review (Spoilers Ahead!)

I’ll be honest, the concept initially made me side-eye a little. A man going well beyond the bare minimum to track down exact substitutions and engage in thoughtful conversation? Shocking behaviour. I was fully prepared to call this wildly unrealistic… until the reveal that Dave has actually been crushing on Sara, his neighbour, for five years. Suddenly, everything clicked.

Sara was such a joy to read. She’s sweet, soft, and unapologetically a homebody, and I found her idiosyncrasies (worn T-shirts, staying in, comfort routines) incredibly relatable. As a hugely successful streamer with a carefully guarded personal life, her intrigue at Dave’s attention to detail felt natural rather than forced. Their history, a near-miss connection at a neighbourhood party years earlier, adds a lovely layer of right person, wrong timing.

For a short novella, this book is impressively well-balanced. The detail and imagery never feel rushed or bloated, and the characters feel multidimensional without being overwhelming. Each delivery ramps up the flirtation just a little more (the stuffed sloth during her period shop? Adorable), and lines like “My brain screams: She’s sick. She needs me.” had me kicking my feet.

The open-door scene was surprisingly hot, and while the misunderstanding that follows made me want to gently shake Sara (how did she not clock it sooner?), the resolution felt earned and sweet rather than dramatic. I loved that the conflict stayed small and human.

Overall, Love, Delivered is a short, comforting, feel-good romance that knows exactly what it is — simple, warm, and charming without trying to be anything more. Sometimes love really does arrive when you least expect it… right at your doorstep.

⭐ Rating: 4/5
🌶 Spice: 2.5/5 .. short but effective, sweet with a little heat
💔 Tropes: Neighbours to lovers • Secret crush • Delivery driver romance • Cozy rom-com • Short & sweet
✨ Vibe: Wholesome, flirty, comforting - a warm hug of a novella

ARC Review

They say "Old flames die hard", but what can you do when the flame only sparked?

A very short book that can remind us that love can be just around the corner and all it takes is a little push to find it.

Sara is a girl who doesn't get along very well with people; she avoids them as much as possible because of the advances they make. Because of this, she prefers to stream video games like League of Legends and order things for delivery through a door-to-door shopping app.

Dave is a young man studying respiratory therapy for family reasons. He plays dodgeball with his friends and works as a delivery driver for an app while keeping his identity hidden from his crush, Sara.

They are both in love and will begin a game of seduction marked by a very interesting closeness: Neighbors. How will this story end? Will Sara manage to discover Dave?

I really liked this book. It's understandable that Sara can't form good relationships because she sometimes feels exposed to strangers (it's not explicitly stated, but it's implied), and Dave's trust issues are also shown.

Something I want to highlight is its originality in showing a different protagonist, perhaps in the sense that she's a bit more modern and shows her geeky side... But if I were me, I wouldn't trust gifts from strangers. There's a variety of secondary characters, but it seems like there are only a few to intervene in different situations, and I think that's fine (considering it's a story of less than 100 pages).

has steamy scenes with consensual relationships, so it's definitely a book for mature audiences.

I enjoyed it, many thanks to its author for allowing me to get a copy of ARC.

Thank you to the author for a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Lots of relationships start online, but this might be the first to start on DoorDash. Sara Mei Lin and Dave Francis Rosenberg are neighbors, but neither has gotten the courage to ask the other out. So when Dave sees Sara's order in his queue, he jumps at the opportunity to be her Dasher and trade flirty messages. Sara has no idea she's talking to her neighbor, and wishes she knew the identity of the man who brings her sweet extras with her orders. When Dave and Sara run into each other by chance, will the sparks fly as they do online, or will Dave's secret spoil any potential future?

This was the most perfect Valentine's Day novella. It's equally adorable, romantic, and spicy. Dave is such a sweet guy and totally gone for Sara. His extra touches with the deliveries made me swoon. Sara's character is very cool and reflects a persona that is underepresented in romance: female gamers. Sara is also Asian, and Dave is Jewish, continuing the fantastic representation. This novella is easily read in one sitting, and you'll want to! I have already read it twice and enjoyed it more each time. Schedule this one for Valentine's Day evening, and it will make for the perfect ending to a romantic day. Highly recommended!

Love, Delivered is a super cute novella that follows Sara, a League of Legends Streamer, and Dave, Door Dasher and her next door neighbour. After they start messaging (and flirting 👀) on the DoorDash app, will their relationship make it out into the real world?

I know it's a novella, but I would have liked to see more of their initial messages to eachother as I felt like I missed out on the build up of their relationship to begin with. Despite this, it was such a sweet short story overall and I really sped through it. I was obsessed with the banter they share, along with how thoughtful and caring Dave was. Did someone say dream boyfriend?! There was also a bit of spice if that's your sort of thing and wow 🔥 I also loved Sara's friend, Sydney, I need someone like her! Once we got into it, I thought the pacing was great and it was well written. I'll absolutely be looking into other books by Nora 😍 If you're looking for a fun short read, then I'd defo recommend this! ❤️

Thank you so much Nora for the ARC 😘

We all need an attentive Door Dasher like Dave! Loved the connection that was built in the most unlikely of places. All the extra touches and the banter was fantastic. These characters were just so dang relatable!

I thought it was so cute that both Dave and Sara had a crush on each other but were too nervous to act on it. It made them finally being together so satisfying. Dave is literally the sweetest, most thoughtful guy. Loved the way he took care of Sara before she even knew it was him.

Even though it’s short the spice be spicing! Jam packed into the 80 or so pages. When they finally get together, Dave knows what he is doing and Sara is one lucky lady! He may seem shy, but he is secretly more dominant in the bedroom than he leads on. It was great seeing Sara find someone who accepted for who she was and not try to change her. Dave and Sara were perfect for one another!

This is such a fun, unique novella you don’t want to miss out on. Can’t wait to see what’s next in the For Love Novella series! A huge thank you to Nora Lane for the early copy!!

Another fun quick novella from Nora just to help you smile and chuckle in your day. Thank you for sharing this couple with me in advance 💜💜

It was a super cute modern idea for this steamy novella.

It totally gave me like a 2025 penpal or wrong number vibe. (The swoony kind, not the stalker kind). Sara is a video game streamer and Dave is her neighbour/Door Dash delivery admirer.

Dave dropped the ball on getting Sara’s number when she first moved into the neighbourhood. So when he notices her order through doordash (his side gig) he goes above and beyond to win her over, but is afraid to tell her that it’s him. Honestly he is so cute with all the extra touches!

If you’re looking for some cozy feels with extra stuffies and homemade chicken noodle, this is it!

Love, Delivered is a delightful quick read, perfect for when you want something flirty and satisfying without the emotional heavy lifting. It breezes along with sharp dialogue, engaging characters, and a gamer girl relatability that made me genuinely root for Sara & Dave!

About an 8.5 on the spice scale: plenty to heat up your TBR on Valentine's Day... maybe even set the mood for your personal BoB time ;) (I don't call my eReader "Lady's Spice Cabinet" nothing!!!) The chemistry between Sara & Dave, and the immediate tension between them.. ugh I LOVE!

Overall, a fun, steamy novella that delivers exactly what it promises: heart, heat, and an FMC you can recognize from your own friend group.

"Love, Delivered" by Nora Lane is a high-heat, fast-paced romance novella that perfectly captures the modern "meet-cute" between Sara, a dedicated streamer, and Dave, the charming DoorDash driver who becomes her favorite daily delivery.
The story packs a serious emotional punch as it navigates the transition from professional hand-offs at the door to an electric, undeniable connection that feels both grounded and deeply passionate.
AUTHENTIC chemistry without any unnecessary filler, making Sara’s digital world and Dave’s real-world persistence blend into a heartwarming and spicy "palate cleanser" that romance readers will absolutely devour.

Door dash = dating app, something I can get behind…

Thank you so much to Nora Lane and her team for allowing me to be an ARC reader for this amazing novella. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Right in time for Valentine’s Day, we need a HEA and what better way than a man to bring you food and love right to your door step. We all need a man who delivers in more ways than one, if you know, you know haha. May a sweet, thoughtful, and good looking man deliver my next door dash order lmao. Don’t mind it short and sweet sometimes and this novella gives you everything you need and more. Didn’t want this one to end and I always love a supportive, sassy BFF to hold it down.

It was my first book by Nora and I just knew by the art it was going to be cute! I love the modern twist on it with her being a badass streamer and his side gig as an Uber driver! This is a fast paced novella about the cutest pairing. Her friendship with Sydney was also so sweet, love a supportive friend who checks in when she should!

Love, Delivered was such a sweet and cozy little read.

It’s short, but it works: playful banter, soft tension, and that little spark when messages slowly turn into feelings.
Sara is guarded but real, Dave is soft and doing his best, and together they just make sense.

It’s not super spicy, but it gives just enough, focusing more on the build-up and that cozy romantic spark that makes it a quick, comforting one-sitting read.

Sometimes you don’t need high drama — just a little romance delivered right to your door. 👀💌

This book felt like getting a cute text when you're not expecting one and suddenly your whole mood changes

Love, Delivered was such a soft, happy little surprise. It's the kind of romance that doesn't try too hard!! It just lets the connection grow through small moments, sweet conversations.

This is a perfect pick if you want:
* something light but still emotional
* characters you can root for
* a story that feels like spring
* zero stress, all vibes

This one is for the soft girls who love love but don't want pain with it.

This was a fun, slightly spicy, romance novella.

Dave has been pining for his neighbour Sara but doesn’t know how to approach her. He gets a lucky break when he becomes her DoorDasher and they start up flirty banter on the app. However, he doesn’t know how to reveal to her that it’s him and talk to her in real life.

I really enjoyed this. It was easy to read and I flew through it in under an hour. I loved the idea of connecting through your food delivery. It was fun and flirty.

Dave falls hard and fast but he’s super shy even though he’s stunning and Sara is recovering from an awful breakup and has built a huge wall up to protect herself from getting hurt again.

Expect flirting, a little bit of spice and drama.

Definitely a 4⭐️ read for me and 2🌶️. I look forward to reading more of the author’s novellas.

What a quick and fun read! If you love neighbors to lovers, secret identity, and novellas you will love this one! Sara is a streamer who doesn’t have much interest in the outside world, and Dave is a dasher who has interest in repeat deliveries. Dave harboring a secret crush on his neighbor and Sara trying to keep her crush on her neighbor tamped down. Did I mention they were NEIGHBORS?! Such a good quick read.

ARC read!

Cute little novella from Nora Lane. This was my first experience with Nora’s writing. And it’s good and quick when you need just a little something.

I wish I had more time with these characters though but maybe that’s because I love a lengthy book with so many details about characters and their histories.

Worth a read if you enjoy novellas or just need something easy.
