This is another great addition to the Steel Sinners MC with a sister’s best friend, protective biker and suspense all thrown in to make this book a page turner. Diesel has always had his eyes on his little sister’s best friend, Serenity, he knows that is a hands-off situation…until it’s not. When his sister calls telling he about the stalker that Serenity now has, she knows he will do anything to protect her.

Serenity has always had a crush on Diesel so with him bringing her back home with him to keep her safe, it feels so right to her. With the stalker circling her, Diesel goes into protective mode and he also gives in to his attraction to her. This was another five star read for me.

The two have been crushing on each other for some time but have tried to keep their distance due to Alana. But Diesel is done waiting, determined to protect and claim his woman. The chemistry between these two was pure fire and the ending was so happy after the danger. I loved it! We need a book for Alana!

OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.

Diesel and Serenity have known one another for a while, she's his sister's best friend. Serenity and Diesel's sister Alana are at UCLA when they call him. Serenity has a stalker he's been taking pictures of her in her apartment. Diesel takes off from Vegas heading to LA, and picks up Serenity taking her back home with him. Diesel puts Serenity in another wing of his home so she can have her privacy. Diesel wants Serenity to do the books at Boneyard Garage which he parts owns with Bones Surprising Bones because his wife Eden is on maternity leave. When Diesel comes t check on Serenity he finds out his sister is messaging her. Soon Serenity face goes pale, and Diesel comes up behind her to find out her stalking sent her a message. When Diesel pulls Serenity a hug, her stomach growls, he tells her to come with him. Diesel hops on his bike and tells Serenity to get on, then he takes her to the diner. On Saturday Diesel wakes up early and goes for a run, when he comes home he finds Serenity in the kitchen. Diesel and Serenity have breakfast then he takes her on another ride. Diesel has someone looking into Serenity's stalker, and it doesn't take long for him to find out the information. After Diesel makes dinner for them, they plan to watch a movie when the power goes out. Diesel finds several candles and brings out the cards. Serenity tells Diesel what a good job he did raising Alana, his sister. Diesel is about to kiss Serenity, when she tells him to. Diesel kisses Serenity, when the power comes back on she feels guilty for the kiss. While Diesel is trying to sleep he hears something in the kitchen, grabbing his gun he finds Serenity in the fridge. Serenity tells him she couldn't sleep, Diesel goes over how secure his home really is. Soon Diesel is kissing Serenity, and tells her he's waited a long time to do that. Diesel takes Serenity to his bedroom, where he pleasures her then they make love. Serenity wakes up and starts to feel guilty about what happened, but Diesel tells her it'll be alright. Diesel tells Serenity he's been fighting his feelings for her for years, and she tells him she's been in love with him for years. Diesel takes Serenity into the shower where they make love again before heading into the garage. Diesel can't concentrate on his work he keeps watching Serenity. When a delivery comes of flowers for Serenity Diesel takes them for her and reads the card, then calls his security guy. Diesel puts someone on Serenity's stalker and has someone deliver a message to him. The next day Diesel takes Serenity out on his bike, after an hour he pulls over on a gravel road and tells her they need to walk. Diesel shows Serenity a private place he found years ago and comes when he needs to think. Diesel pulls out a picnic lunch for them and they sit and talk. Diesel tells her he loves her and Serenity tells him she loves him too. When Serenity wants to run to the coffee shop, they haven't heard anything for her stalker for a few weeks. Diesel lets Serenity go but has a bad feeling. Serenity tells Diesel she'll met him at the garage, she'll only be twenty minutes. Diesel contacts his security guy and finds out her stalkers still in LA. Just before Diesel heads out the door his phone goes off, Serenity messages him she needs help, that she's in the bathroom. Diesel heads to the coffee shop, not stopping at red lights. Diesel heads right to the women's restroom and finds Serenity's stalker pinning her to the wall. Diesel pulls the guy off Serenity and chokes him. Serenity tells Diesel to stop, the door flys open and the bodyguard he had on her comes in with blood on his head. Diesel lets the security guard take over, and takes Serenity back home. Diesel makes love to Serenity when they're back home. Diesel mets the security guys out in the dessert, he tells Serenity's stalker to never set foot back in Nevada. Then Diesel lets them take the stalker back to California. When Diesel gets home he tells Serenity that she's safe now her stalker has been taken care of. Serenity tells Diesel that she doesn't want to go back to LA, she feels at home with him. Diesel tells her then don't, then tells her she can take online classes. Serenity takes out her laptop and start to register for online classes. Diesel knows he can't let Serenity head back to LA, he feels like she belongs with him. Diesel takes Serenity out for a bike ride when he pulls over and they watch the sunset. Diesel calls Serenity's name and when she turns around he's down on one knee. Diesel asks Serenity to marry him and she tells him yes. Two years later, Serenity has been working at the garage and going to online classes. Now she graduates, with Diesel, Alana, Bones and Eden all cheering her on. Afterwords they head to a steakhouse to celebrate. Diesel and Serenity are married now. Serenity tells everyone, that when she moved to Vegas it wasn't about safety, it was about finding the life she didn't know she wanted. Serenity is the accountant for Boneyard Garage, and thanks Bones and Eden. After the plates are cleared, Serenity pulls out a piece of paper and hands it to Diesel, she tells him she has something for him. Diesel opens to find a sonogram, and asks Serenity if she's pregnant. Serenity tells him she's two months pregnant and wanted to wait until after graduation to tell him. Diesel tells her that he loves her and Serenity tells him she loves him. Diesel knows whatever comes next no matter how many miles they have to cover they'll do it together.

Diesel's Last Chance by Loni Ree is part of the multi author Steel Sinners MC series and was a good read.
As a steamy, alpha male, younger sister's best friend, protective biker romance, the plot and storyline had me hooked quickly especially with the main characters of Diesel, the older Steel Sinners biker and mechanic and Serenity, a curvy, intelligent university student.
Diesel left the military to look after his younger sister when their mother left and Serenity has been her best friend for years. Diesel has struggled with his attraction and desires towards Serenity ever since she turned eighteen and when his sister calls from Los Angles asking for help to protect Serenity he doesn't hesitate.
Serenity has been drawn to Diesel for years but as her best friend's older brother she knows she should stay away from him and the dangerous world he is a part of. Diesel jumps to the aid of Serenity and in order to keep an eye on her he brings her to Las Vegas to the safety of his house.
The close proximity of living together and the flirtatious banter start fanning the sparks between them and Diesel struggles with giving in to his desires but his overriding need to protect and claim Serenity as his, enables their sizzling chemistry to ignite.
The stalker threat comes to a head but the strength of Diesel's obsession and protection of Serenity ensures that the relationship developing between them has a strong foundation.
This was a good story that was well paced and easily kept me turning the pages right through to the very end to see how their HEA comes about.

This was a sweet and steamy bodyguard/best friends older brother novella with a touch of danger. Diesel has been in love with Serenity, his little sisters best friend, for years but never believed she belonged in his world. Serenity has felt the same for him, but never wanted to cross those lines and hurt her friend. Thanks to an unwanted stalker, Diesel's feelings get forced out and he'll do anything to protect what's his. There were moments I was expecting something dangerous to happen, but they turned into sweet moments, so it kept you on edge the whole book waiting for something. The resolution wasn't really satisfying at first, but it ended up being in the end so I was happy with that. I do wish we got a scene where Alana finds out or when Serenity realized that Alana knows though. No cheating or OW drama, slight OM drama in the form of the stalker, no condoms, dual POV, HEA and an epilogue 2 years in the future. Looking for to hopefully getting Alana's book, she seems like she'd keep her man on his toes!

I just enjoyed this so much. Loved the characters and storyline. Diesel co owned the Boneyard Garage with Bones. Diesel had a sister Alana who lived by UCLA with her best friend Serenity. They’d known each other for years and was being stalked by a fellow student. Alana put in a call to Diesel and told him what was going on. He told her he was on his way there and that Serenity should pack some things because she was coming home with Diesel. When he arrived at their apartment Serenity said she wasn’t going anywhere. All Diesel knew was that he had to protect her. He had strong feelings for her and he wasn’t letting her be scared. He talked her into going and she packed her bags and Alana packed her bags because she had a summer job on campus living in one of the dorms. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜💜😊😊😊😊😊😊

I really liked the little sister’s best friend dynamic because it added extra tension without making the relationship feel overly dramatic. Serenity and Diesel balance each other well, especially once the danger ramps up and he fully steps into protector mode. The stalker storyline keeps things moving, while the romance still stays front and center. If you like possessive alpha bikers, protective heroes, and fast-paced romance with a guaranteed HEA, this is a really fun read 🏍️❤️.

When a fellow classmate starts stalking Serenity, his sister makes a frantic call to Diesel about the stalker, and he immediately drives to LA to bring Serenity to his home in Las Vegas.
Diesel and Ren eventually act on their feelings and he is all, as she is. Diesel has like burn the world down when her stalker finds her. Serenity and Diesel had such a connection with some hot/steamy parts too. This was Diesel's last chance at happiness and he took it. The epilogue was so good. I hope we eventually get Alana’s story.

Oh my Diesel!! I loved this book from the first word! Diesel has been obsessed with his little sister’s best friend, Serenity forever. He knew he could never act on those feelings, but he would do anything for her. Then when his sister, Alana, tells him that Serenity has a stalker, all bets are off, and Diesel will stop at nothing to protect what is his. Loved this book. Serenity is not some shrinking violet, she is an independent woman, and I love her sass!! Every turn of the page was better than the last. The spice, the love, the details that Loni Ree wrote, like “the sky begins to bruise into shades of deep purple and burnt orange”, I could see this so clearly. Loved it!!!!

Big, blustering male, brought to heel by a slim pickings of a girl who can take him down with a look or a few words. Smitten is not a strong enough word to describe the relationship..equal attraction between the two.

The story centers around our main characters, with the club there to support them. I am truly amazed by the power of love. The MMC is a tall, imposing man, a member of the club, yet the FMC can easily command him with just a glance. After all, she is the love of his life and his haven. What moved me the most was when he declared that the saint is dead and it's time to embrace being a Sinner.
