Kingdom Prayers: Devotional Prayers from Paul's Letters

The primary purposes of these prayers is personal spiritual growth and a better understanding of the kingdom days in which we live. Paul was used by Holy Spirit to reveal much of the new covenant kingdom truth we are living in today. This is not a book to be read; these are prayers to be prayed. Scripture has been rewritten into prayers that ask the Lord to do in us the things He wants and to keep us from things He doesn't want. Comments are included before each prayer to help explain the verse and give you an idea of how I came up with the prayer. The comments are in normal print, the prayers are in bold print. I have included all or part of the scriptures related to the prayers in italics.

One of the most powerful ways to pray is to pray God's word back to Him. He promises in Jeremiah 1:12 to hasten to perform His word. As we pray His word, we are praying for things He wants and are releasing His power to change us and others.

By the time you have prayed through the prayers from Paul's letters, you will have probably covered most of the truths of new covenant kingdom living. Pray the verse for yourself and respond to anything the Lord says to you as you pray. Then pray the verse for your spouse, your children and for others that are around your life.
