Angelcynn #3

The Halls of the Wealh

Rate this book
“They say that you consort with witches, and that your gods have given you the strength and cunning of the wolf and that you drink blood with your gods and witches at the full of the moon.” We all laughed at these revelations but Artorius continued, “I’m serious. The stories of Wulfhere the Grim are many and colourful, my lord. I just felt you might like to know.” The Angels have joined the maelstrom of post Roman Britain. As tribe fights tribe and new alliances inflame ancient hatred, how will the Angelcynn fit into the confusing patchwork of the British kingdoms? The Combrogi are trying to unite the tribes against the invaders while others court the newcomers to harness their strength. The gods will show Wulfhere the right path. Fate already knows the outcome, why then would a warrior fear that which cannot be changed?

Another Good Volume

This book brings us to the over all control of much of Britain by the wolf Lord. I
It is filled with action and insight to the leadership of a warrior who has compassion for his people.
Good descriptions and well developed characters.
