The dead mother of my fifteen-year-old son Ace has just re-emerged from her grave. Or, that’s what I first believe when she appears at the gate to our clubhouse. But she’s not a ghost, she’s my ex’s twin, and as such stakes a claim as Ace’s aunt.

I’ve more than one reason to be suspicious of her, especially as she quickly finds a place in Ace’s heart – what child wouldn’t be intrigued about someone with such a close link to the mother he never got to know?

My track record with women hasn’t been great. Since I got sole responsibility for Ace when he was six months old, I’ve only had one-night stands or have been with the club girls. I never wanted to get involved in another relationship. But the more I see Toni, the more I like her. I even begin to think of the impossible, about making her mine.

Toni has charmed both Ace and me, but others harbour suspicions of her. I can understand Ace’s grandmother being cautious, but why the hell should a club girl stick her nose where it’s not wanted?

What threat could Toni be to either my son or I?

Manda Mellett

Manda’s life's always seemed a bit weird, starting with a childhood that even today she’s still trying to make sense of, then losing her parents in the late teens. Going from the tragic to the bizarre, who else could be unlucky enough to have had two car accidents, neither her fault, one involving a nun, and another involving a police woman?

There isn’t enough space to list everything that’s happened to Manda, or what she’s learned from it. But by using the rich fabric of her personal life, psychology degree, varied work experiences, and amazing characters she’s met, Manda is able to populate her books with believable in-depth characters and enjoys pitting them against situations which challenge them. Her books are full of suspense, twists and turns and the unexpected.

Manda lives in the beautiful countryside of Essex in the UK, the area’s claim to fame being the Wilkin’s Jam Factory at nearby Tiptree. She can usually find jars of jam which remind her of home wherever she goes. As well as writing books and reading, Manda loves walking her dogs and keeping fit. She lives with her husband of over 30 years, who, along with her son, is her greatest fan and supporter.

Manda is thankful that one of the more unusual, and at the time unpleasant, turns her life took, now enables her to spend her time writing. Confirming, in her view, every cloud has a silver lining.

Freak and Trixie

Freak is the Enforcer for KOA MC Arizonia who gets the surprise of his life when his ex’s twin sister shows up and wants to get to know ACE, who is Freak’s son. Ace has autism and opens up to Trixie who will fight for Ace no matter what. Freak has been a great dad to to his son so of course he is suspicious at first because he knew nothing of a twin sister.

This book has a lot of drama and steam with heart behind the whole story. What a great job approaching tough subjects and it deserves the five-star rating.

Loved!
I think Blade has serious competition with Freak for who I want to slap the most!

Freak & his son Ace have plodded along for 15 yrs with the club and freaks mother, Freak never wanted a relationship after the disaster with aces birth mother.

When someone shows up claiming to be family, Freak of course isn't trusting but finding nothing wrong opens up to her & ace getting to know each other.

Others in the club arent so easily swayed by this person and has doubts, being told they are over stepping and is pretty rude to them.

Of course nothing rules smoothly and trust is broken in a huge way!

Can Freak,Ace & the club overcome this and loyalty to the club comes from someone who he never thought would sacrifice themselves for his son!

Loyalty is tested and words & actions cause heartache.

Absolutely loved Property of Freak by Manda Mellett! Have you ever wished that one of the bikers in am MC would find the appeal of a Club Girl enough to make her his forever? Now's your chance to read that story. For more than half the book, Freak is of the same old attitude toward Trixie that all club bikers seem to have. Only he treated Trixie worse than most of them do toward Club Girls. It sure seemed like he had an unrelenting grudge against her, for some reason. He didn't treat her with respect, care, or concern. Honestly, I really thought that I would not be able to forgive Freak for treating Ttixie like he had. The further I read into the story, and the longer he treated her so bad, the more I was sure his character was unredemable. Trixie didn't help with some of her comments at the beginning, which sets Freak off and made him dig further into his attitude against her.

We do get to see a lot of Freak's son Ace, who is an autistic computer guru. I personally love Ace's character! I found myself laughing out loud at some of his behavior and comments, and more than a little terrified for him at other points. I love that Manda gave us so much Ace time in this story. It makes the story so much richer and more satisfying. I like that we got a great background for Trixie, which explains some of her decisions and actions. And I love what Trixie has been for Ace from the time she arrived. She and Ace have a very special relationship. I thought for sure Trixie would have a forever unrequited love, but thankfully that is not how the story ends for her.

Property of Freak is an awesome read. Once again, Manda Mellet shows us how talented an author she truly is. The character development is amazing, as always, and the plot and twists are so well thought out that you sit on the edge of your seat until the last page of the book.
As in all her other books, Manda takes one subject and writes about it; this time, it's Autism. I was in awe of how well she could describe not just the behavior but also the emotions that the parent and the child go through and live with. As the mother of two autistic young men and grandma of an eleven-year-old autistic girl, I recognized each point Manda made. I saw, felt, and have lived everything that was pointed out, and I am so thankful to Manda for doing this so beautifully.
Freak, well, he's an arshole at the beginning, but thank god he stops thinking with his middle man, sees the light, and finally steps up to win his love interest. This is a book you don't want to miss out on. I can't wait for the next one.

Ok I have read a lot of Manda’s books. I have enjoyed so many of her books, but the beginning of this book had me scratching my head and asking questions out loud. I resonated with the male character in this book because I was a single mom, raising two kids on my own. I needed the support of my mom as well.

Antoinette’s character was perplexing. I would have been leery and cautious of her too. She portrayed someone who truly wanted to know her family. But, she believed the wrong person and the wrong club.

It was telling that a club girl, and his mom were the ones who had questions about Toni’s intentions.
To hear Trixie’s background was heartbreaking.
I resonate with Trixie because she had to change Freak’s perspective just as I had to do in the past. It’s so true that it is so hard to change someone’s perspective.
Ace was an amazing kid and I really hope that his story continues to develop as the series goes on.

I gave the book a 4🌟🌟🌟🌟
Manda always writes good books. I’m looking forward to reading more of her books.

I think I may have just found a new top 10 in my favourite books.

Freak gets the shock of his life when his ex’s twin sister, Trixie, suddenly appears wanting to be part of Ace’s life — the son he’s devoted everything to raising. With Ace being autistic, Freak is naturally cautious and protective, especially since he never even knew a twin sister existed.
What follows is an emotional story filled with drama, chemistry, and so much heart. Watching Ace slowly connect with Trixie was one of the best parts of the book, and I loved how fiercely she stood up for him. Freak was already an amazing father, which made his protectiveness feel completely real.
This book handled difficult subjects with care while still delivering plenty of steam and MC drama. The emotional depth behind the romance made it stand out for me, and it easily earned a five-star rating.

Fantastic writing once again Manda 👏👏

I just read Freck. It was so awesome. The journey was a wild ride from Toni, to MDMC, Trixie and then her ex.

I was so drawn into the book I read till 5:45 in the morning to finish it. The writing was so smooth with great descriptions that it just flowed. The crisis of Ace and how he was found was nail biting.

Trixie’s back story was heartbreaking. Her devotion to Ace and how she protected him with the tracker was inspiring.

The phase of Ace to Freck about him being like a club girl with all the woman he had was no different then Trixie. The end was so real and much like all you writing amazing.

I must admit, I read this one but it took me a minute to write the review because this twist spicy tale blew my mind. When his ex's twin shows up Freak is initially very suspicious, but is surprised when he learns his autistic son Ace was the one who contacted her. He eventually begins to trust her even when there are signs she's hiding something. There's another person who is suspicious of this new arrival, even though she may have her own agenda. So which person to believe. When the twist came, I have to admit, it was NOT what I was expecting at all. I'm being deliberately vague here so as not to give away the twist. Let's just say when all was revealed, I was annoyed that the FMC forgave so easily, although the author was good to show she still held herself back, not believing things could work out for her. And then we get ANOTHER twist. Thankfully we get a great HEA.

DNF@15%. So, I thought Josie’s twin (his son’s aunt) was going to be the h but the h turned out to be Trixie, the club whore? 🙄Yet he says this to Trixie after she makes a negative comment about Toni (Ace’s aunt whom he just had sex with). - “You got thoughts about me and you? Is that it, Trix? You dream of wearing my patch?” Disgusted at the thought, I shove her away, not having it in me to be even the least concerned when she trips and stumbles, landing on her ass. “Don’t know why you’d think that. I only fucked you once, and that was enough. You’re walking on fuckin’ thin ice, whore. If you even think about getting in between a King and a woman, then you’ll be out of this club so fast, your head will be spinning.” He had called her a cum dumpster a few chapters before that so when I stopped to read the reviews and found out she was the h, I was not really interested.

I felt for Freak and for Trixie

Freak wants the best for his son. Hes already gone through Hell being away and coming back to that close call, hes been on edge looking to see if Ace has biploar traits. He jumped through hoops to help Ace understand life and grow to be the teen man child he is. Seeing the past step up to him, though not the person he thought it was, must have messed badly with his head.
Trixie is amazeballs. Yes she stayed where she did and took on a life she didnt grow up expecting. But she found love and acceptance with the Kings. She went toe to toe with Freak for Ace, though he couldnt see it was for Aces benefit. All she wanted was for the best for Ace, and she saw through Tonis mask, when noone else could.

This happens to be the story of Freak & Trixie an book three of the Kings of Anarchy Arizona Chapter. This book is full of twists and turns and plenty of action, Freak has so many emotions go thru his head when he is called to the gate and is stunned & shocked to find the twin sister of his ex and mother of his child demanding to see the son of her late twin sisters son Ace because he is her nephew & the only piece of her family she has left. Freak wants to kill her because he thinks she is evil like her twin, this one has so many emotions such as betrayal, revenge, lost family and brothers that have your back and arent afraid to hide a body and keep secrets. Will he allow her to become part of his world ?

I love all of Amanda’s books, each one takes you to a place that you’re not really expecting to go and the characters all seem so alive.
Freaking Trixie of weird, kind of complicated relationship mainly because he can’t get his head out of his butt and she doesn’t think she deserves the kind of attention in love that he and she can share.
When I’m part of the past comes back for both of them, they must come together and protect his son, Ace, and figure out if their love and their relationship are worth fighting for instead of running from.
In the end, they come together and their love along with the club and his son Ace and his mom all form a tightknit family that is based on love, loyalty and respect.

That was very interesting. It went a whole different way than I thought it would. I'm really surprised in a few spots. Ace is awesome!! He's been through so much. I was surprised about Irish. I remember reading shotgun's book. but I'm if Irish was killed cause of Trixie or what because it never went into specifics just said mafia. But don't know if it was her husband or what. But overall, it was really good. I was really surprised. can Freak make up his mind and get his head out of his ass in x 2 decide what he really wants in his forever life especially with Ace's help? it seemed like Freak couldn't make up his mind for a while it was like a push and pull situation until sumthing tramatic happened and it snapped him out of it. it was really good i loved it!!

I love Freak! Property Of Freak is a fantastic single father, club girl story and it's absolutely perfect! Freak, Trixie
and Ace take us on an emotional, intense, exciting adventure. Lots of drama and chaos but holy hades what a ride. This couple takes the long way around before they finally get together but when they do it's like fireworks on the 4th of July. Trixie is complete perfection and definitely 'Ol Lady material. Tough as nails and has more grit that most men. When she loves, she loves big and she loves hard and nothing stands in her way of protecting those she loves. Their journey is beautifully written and quickly pulls you in and stays with you long after it's ended.

I don't know where to begin. This book was a bomb going off. If I could climb into the pages, I would have slapped Freak up the head.
Luckily he woke up. An awesome fantastic story that I just couldn't put down. On very little sleep since I got it, I had to finish it. I'm so happy Trix got her HEA. Of all the girls she deserves it.
Oh don't forget Ace. He is just one of those kids that you swoon over. Too cute for words, joking. He is cool. Happy he got his mom.
There is enough violence and mayhem. Blood and gore. And love and MC romance. But everyone deserved what they got this time. Especially mister mafia.
Well done. Manda you did a great job. You get my 5 stars

I really loved this book! Lately I have been in the mood for MC reads and this one fit the bill in every way possible!
I loved how Freak was a single father to his autistic son. He was loving and patient with him and the love between them was evident throughout the story. There are several twists to this one that kept us on a journey with all the emotions, including Freak's relationship with our FMC.
The character development is done brilliantly, bringing them to life in a way that has the reader making connections with them all.
As you can tell I highly recommend this one and need much more from Author Manda Mellett!

Freak and Trixie breakout with a splash!

These two unlikely people (Freak and Trixie) are thrown together to bring us a action pack King of Anarchy - Arizona breakout storyline. This one has so many twist and turns you may need a road map, but it comes together beautifully as only a Manda story can. Also, we get a look at a few of the other chapters and their members! This book just keeps giving and readers are the beneficiaries. I give this one five stars and although a few bombs in the road it is a must read. Now, we wait to see what our resident Rattled gets up to next. Get on board and splash into Freak! Peace out.

Freak and Trixie’s story was a roller coaster of emotions and lots of drama. Freak is a single dad that had no idea that his son’s mom had a twin until Ace did a dna test to see if he find family on his mom’s side. Trixie grew up not knowing that she had a twin sister until her dad told her before he passed away.
Trixie wants a relationship with her nephew and Freak is very protective of his son so he is very leery about her and her actions for Ace.

This story has secrets, betrayal and unexpected twists that we having wanting more.

Excellent read! It’s a page turner and I couldn’t put it down. Manda is definitely a master of writing about an autistic child and all the difficulties a family faces. I love Ace! He’s such a great teenager and it’s a joy to read about him. Great characters and it was great having other MC members included in this story.

The story is full of action, anguish, heartache, joy, and a real roller coaster of emotions. Loved Freak and Trixie and the long journey to finally get their HEA.

What a good story! Several twists and turns that got my imagination going. I found myself reading "just one more chapter" to see if my imagination meshed with Manda's. Nope! It did not. Hers was much better! I was anticipating a zig and Manda zagged! As I read Freak and Ace's story, she also kept me up with Saint and Pippa, Short and Bronwyn, and the other brothers. I recommend reading the series in order to enjoy it better, although it could be read as a stand-alone.

Club enforcer Freak is shocked to his core when his deceased ex’s twin appears at the clubhouse wanting to be part of his son Ace’s life. She soon has both Ace and Freak under her spell, but not everyone trusts her, especially club girl Trixie.

Manda has given us a fantastic story that is drenched in manipulation, secrets, betrayal, tension, threats and unexpected twists.

I was gripped from the very first page, I couldn’t put it down and can’t wait for the next in this Kings of Anarchy MC, Arizona series

Freak, Ace and Trixie has such a wonderful story that takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride from beginning to end. When you have a very special boy with a very protective dad, and then Trixie shows up out of the blue that’s when the action, drama, trauma, twist and turns gets ahold of you an won’t let go.

Loved the dynamic between the characters in this book and what the author has done with mixing it up from her earlier books. Freak, Ace, Trixie and Antoinette, what a combination. I am also intrigued by the fact that it is showing what a character young Ace is turning into as well. Absolutely loved this storyline. couldn't put it down. A highly recommended read.

Love it

Freak is a single dad to Ace and the enforcer for the MC. Ace’s mum isn’t alive anymore but her twin sister is,a sister Freak knew nothing about until she appears at the MC and wants to get to know her nephew. Freak’s mum and one of the club girls have their suspicions about Toni but Freak has the club check her out and she really is the twin sister of Ace’s mum. There’s lots of excitement, drama, emotions and mysterious moments in this book. Add in Ace’s autism, a rival club, club girl drama and lots of romance, steamy moments and the brotherhood of the MC and you have a beautifully well written love story. Highly recommend this author, one of my favourites 🖤❤️

What a ride

You gotta hang on for this ride with the Kings. Freak meets the twin sister, who is the aunt to his son. He didn’t know she had a twin, they were separated at birth. Father took, Mother took the other one. I highly recommend this, one wild ride.
