In book 2 of Havenwood Werewolves the story picks up exactly where it ended in book one.
Neaveh is still stubborn and fighting the bond. Silas is struggling and falling apart. Malachi seems to becoming more furious and the bond with Neaveh is strengthening. And Luca found Neaveh. So he is back in the picture.
This story is very well written. I enjoyed all the characters. This wonderful story is suspenseful, emotional, strong connection with all of them, secrets, powerful magic, the council and the danger that comes with their interest in Neaveh.
With twists that kept me turning the pages. At times I was cheering on Neaveh. She struggles with the choices she has to make. But she is strong and I really enjoy her character. At other times I had to remember how to breathe, the steamy parts were really enjoyable. All three of them grow in this story. With their minds, bodies and souls. It's very heartwarming watching them bond and learn each other. Strengthening their connection.
It's a very wonderful journey reading this story. And the cliffhanger made my heart stutter. So be prepared.
Ravenna is a wonderful author. I highly recommend this book and this series.
And I'm totally ready for the 3rd book. Please please please. LoL 🤗💜.

Knot Your Mate by Ravenna Cross is EVERYTHING I want in a paranormal romance.
This book had me hooked from the very first chapter. The tension between the main characters is absolutely electric, and the push-and-pull of fate versus choice made the story impossible to put down. I love a good fated mates trope, but Knot Your Mate adds just enough angst, stubbornness, and emotional depth to make it feel fresh and addictive.
The chemistry? Off the charts. The banter had me smiling, and the steam was perfectly balanced with genuine emotional connection. It’s not just spice for the sake of spice — you really feel the bond building between them, even when they’re fighting it.
The world-building was immersive without being overwhelming, and I appreciated how the pack dynamics and lore added real stakes to the romance. And that tension… the slow unraveling of feelings mixed with pride and fear? Chef’s kiss.
If you love shifters, fated mates, strong heroines, possessive (but swoony) alphas, and emotional payoff that makes your heart ache in the best way — this one is for you.
Highly recommend and I’ll absolutely be reading more from Ravenna Cross!.

😱 High-Stakes, Emotional, and Addictive Novel

Knot Your Mate is book two in the Havenwood Werewolves series—an Omegaverse trilogy. Ravenna Cross continues this dark, slow-burn, why choose story about Neaveh, a powerful Luna werewolf, and the three men who would do anything for her. The first book ended with an emotional cliffhanger concerning Silas.

More shocking details and high-stakes emotional scenes are revealed in this next installment in the trilogy. Will the dangerous and powerful Neaveh learn to control her powers for good as well as for protection? What will the rival brothers, who share a wolf spirit endure to protect her?
Unlike some reviewers, I never give a synopsis of the book or reveal spoilers when I do a review, so this is my opinion on the merits of this book and the author’s talent and skill at bringing the story to life.

It appeals to readers who like dark, spicy books with a strong storyline and characters, heart-clenching moments, and a shocking and gruesome cliffhanger! I think that this story and world has great potential, and I think that is what irritates me the most. I think the author had a great idea that could've been turned into something really cool for the screen someday. But I think the editor, or whoever, scrapped so much out of this that there is not even enough left that the story makes any sense.

First, the story idea is great and I like this werewolf world better then the others. But there is about 20 chapters missing from this book. The timeline does not make any sense at all.

In the first book it reads as if it is only 5 days that Neveah knows Malachi and Silas, but then in the second book it reads as if they have known each other for months or years. The scent that Silas has changes from jasmine to citrus from book one to book two and Malachi keeps describing how he loves all the faces and emotions that Neveah has, but in book one he has only seen her twice. TWICE.

A good story but not all details add up

Reading the 1st and 2nd back to back made some mismatch details jump out. She was only with the first brother and his pack a couple days (not even the full 3) yet when the second brother brings her back there’s talk of long outings and given hugs missed like she lived with them long enough to create patterns. Not to mention the brothers just moved in together like the pack belonged to both of them after the first book explaining they weren’t “allowed” to be close which is why they had separate packs and had to sneak out when getting together. Aside from these inconsistencies I enjoyed story. It escalates quickly and keeps the reader interested.

This is the second installment Neaveh’s story. As Luca had previously warned them regarding the threats posed by the council, the council representatives appeared at their doorstep and demanded to take Neaveh with them. Numerous events transpired prior to the council's arrival. This second installment was as compelling as the first; I was unable to set the book down until I reached the final page. The narrative concludes with a cliffhanger, and the third installment is forthcoming—an announcement I personally find very exciting.

This continues on with Nevaeh and her men. I love seeing the growth within these guys. The continuation of the bond and everything that’s them. This book was so good, I couldn’t out it down. The spice, wasn’t bad either 😉 🥵 this kept me turning the pages with all the twists and turns. Every time I thought I had it figured out, I was wrong. The chaos, the intensity, really pulls you and keeps you reading. I’m really loving this series so far.

Needs better editing

I really enjoyed the first book, and immediately started the second. The story line is different and enjoyable, but there are some disconnects between books. Its like a chapter or two was ripped out. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Im not sure what happened, but this is terrible. It's not a seamless transition from book 1 to this one, book 2. It's lacking context and includes a story that has no background. It has skips in the story flow. Im so disappointed. Unfortunately I didn't finish it.
