You will notice a handful of one star reviews on my books. With awareness you will also notice that they come from fake accounts with fake names, we're all posted on the same day, and are all based out of Nigeria.
Sadly, scammers targeting indie authors is all too rampant. I receive around three scam emails a day. This one was particularly troublesome and the vulnerability of other small authors concerned me, so I called them out on attempting to scam me.
Unfortunately, as is quite normal with scammers, if you don't give them the money they want and if you call them out on their nefarious behavior, they will try to ruin your reputation. This time, they've done so with fake one-star reviews. Unfortunately for them, they are targeting the person with the strongest spirit who is unbothered by a falsified external reputation because she is so secure in the reputation of her spirit.
5 years ago this might have bothered me, but today I am strong in the knowing that it is all an illusion.
Nefarious and dark energies do not like light and so they will try to distract and ruin light, they try to fill light with fear and worry. I will always be a threat to the dark, and I'm happy in that knowing.
They don't scare me and they don't threaten me because I know what follows and what they have lined up for them in the aether. Their karma will never be mine to carry. And so, if you feel drawn to this book and are able to discern authentic reviews from those merely trying to fuel the dark illusions of this world, I hope you give it a chance and I hope it speaks to your spirit.
