Thank you to Chani for letting me see an early copy of this for proofreading!

Oh my gosh I absolutely loved this book; another scorching hot omegaverse, but with a twist! Omega Fenrir hasn’t always been an omega - born an alpha, he’s been through some truly horrendous experiments that have stripped him of his Alpha designation and forced him to be an omega. Trapped by a sinister organisation called The Wardrobe that traffics omegas and alphas, he’s forced to go undercover in rival mafia gang, The White Frost.

But it all goes wrong when Fen ends up with the wrong member of The White Frost, Oberon King. Oberon is an Alpha and high ranking member of the mafia… even if he can be a bit of a clutz. But what Oberon does know is this omega that’s practically landed in his lap is hiding secrets… but are lies Fen is telling enough to quench the desire Oberon feels for him?

I loved this pair; they have such good push and pull! And there’s something about a ditzy alpha with a totally feral omega just speaks to me on a deep level 😌 Their HEA brought me so much joy, I just love this pair!!

Whilst this isn’t as dark as some of the author’s other books, please check the trigger warnings before reading 💕

Read for:
✨ Omegaverse (no mpreg)
✨ Alpha x ex-alpha/synthetic omega
✨ Going undercover in the mafia
✨ Possessiveness, touch him and 💀
✨ Hiding your secret superpowers
✨ Omega with Alpha traits
✨ Himbo Alpha, feral omega
✨ Who is really in charge here?
✨ The Alpha: I’m hurt, pls carry me 🥺
✨ The Omega: WTF is wrong with you 🙄

His Marked Omega is available on 16th Feb 2026 💕

I'm really enjoying Chani's recent books and the way the dark content is now being balanced with some humour.

Oberon was pretty funny, and even though he's a possessive Alpha who takes what he wants, he was so eager to learn everything about Fen.

Fenrir was super interesting to me because his genetics blend a few of Chani's existing species as well as him being a test subject for the ongoing genetic ABO experiments, and it was really fun to see a new variant.

I'm very curious about what Levi is up to, and I did get my hopes up for a Levi and Shiloh pairing, but then I remembered Shiloh already got paired off 😭 Either way I'm eagerly anticipating the next book in this storyverse.

Fenrir lost the grandparents raising him at 14, and he landed on the street working as a grunt, and then he was taken in by Michelle who runs the Wardrobe, a place that does medical experimentation for the sake of profit, they sex traffick people. He was an alpha, but because of the experimentation, he was turned into an Omega. He's been sexually assaulted over the years as part of them trying to groom him into a role. Now, it's been about 10 years, and he is being put up for auction for his heat for the first time. He has been Michelle's favorite whipping Boy and pet, and he's been tasked with a mission to seduce and bug someone from the White Frost mafia. He longs to belong to someone, and he thinks by doing this he could earn his place with Michelle as pack as opposed to the product.

Oberon is high level White Frost mafia. He wasn't intended to be Fenrir's target, but the Omega caught his eye. He wins him in the auction, he's enamored, and he quickly decides to keep him. He claims him as his mate. But things aren't simple because Michelle wants Fenrir back, the Wardrobe and the White Frost are at odds, and Fenrir has a new dangerous mission... To take down Michelle and takeover the Wardrobe so that it's victims can either go free or choose to become employees and have protections in place.

I enjoyed this book. I liked that Fenrir was so powerful and snarky. He definitely didn't let Oberon walk over him. They had a steamy connection, they were both smart and witty, Oberon was obsessed and at times Fenrir walked him like a dog. Well done story. The author won her battle against typos in this book, I only noticed one.

Two small things I didn't enjoy. I thought the preoccupation with this weird Omega virginity (having had lots of sex, but just not being knotted) was icky and weird. And I didn't love how Fenrir always referred to people as product. It would have made more sense for him to think of them as people first.

Some notable moments:

"Ownership? Up until now, ownership had only felt like suffering, loneliness, and pain. This current sensation, while edged in the latter, was so far from suffering it was insane. There was nothing lonely about this feeling. About being locked on the alpha’s knot. Trapped in his lap. This couldn’t be ownership, because that had never felt like belonging before, and Fenrir knew better than to trust in the careless words of an alpha getting off."

"“Have you been lying here, wondering when and how I would dispose of you? Precious.” Soothing pheromones exploded into the room, practically choking Fen with their potency. “I’m your alpha. I would never. Your life is safe with me. Now your ass…well, I can’t make any promises about that, but—”"

"“You have someone vacuum a cave?” Ridiculous. “Also, if someone comes to throw out bad food, surely they could have returned the multi-slate you took.” “It slipped my mind?” “Fantastic.” “It’s no big deal.” “That I’m mated to a moron? Kind of is.”"

*FYI about steam: I rate steam based on a combination of quality & quantity. I note kink separate from steam because I don't want to underrate steamy reads that don't have much kink.

**Note about spoilers: I like to comment on the plot of a book in reviews, so I almost always mark my reviews as containing spoilers. But I try to avoid spoiling the big dramatic moments! As a reader, I personally like to know what I'm getting into before I read a book so I know more about the content and if it's to my taste/mood, so I try to give that information in my reviews for myself when I'm considering rereading and also for other readers.

This is the best of the 3 books so far in this series!

The plot was well done and I loved both MCs. Very hot together and all the pheromones and scenting was seriously 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Lots of high quality villains and grey heroes. Super good.

The epilogue could have been longer but we still get another book in this series so they can tie up loose ends then I guess.

A Product of Love

Dee’s Grade: A+

I loved Oberon and all his chaotic energy. Fenrir was fun as a stabilizing influence who wasn’t a pushover.

This is the second novella in this series. It’s an MM, alpha/omega (no shifting), dark romance. Fenrir, an alpha, is a a product of bad experimentation. He was sold to this auction house and was forced into becoming an omega. The owner took a special interest in him and instead of pimping him out, made him into a weapon.
One auction night, he is instructed to auction off his first heat to one of the low ranking White Frost members so he can then infiltrate and plant a device to spy on them.
What is not expected was for Oberon, the richest man on Synastry, and high up in White Frost, to come. They also didn’t expect him to be so interested.
After paying $11Million for 1 heat, he is taken with Oberon. Oberon knows the omega was a spy but can’t help himself. In order to take him and keep him, he decides to bite and claim him. Now, no one could take him away.

Such a good novella! Loved the entire thing! Highly recommend!!

I always love the sci-fi aspects in these books. This was such an interesting read. The whole universe that Chani has created is so unique. The romance was sweet aswell as questionable at times lol. I mean if you’ve read any of her other books you would understand 🤣 It was easy to get into. You have some world building throughout that just draws you in and makes you want to know more.

Ps. She writes in dual pov 3rd person. But like well written 3rd person 👌

The best book of this entire saga, with the most interesting and different plot from previous ones, well-developed and peculiar characters, not similar to the latest books written by the author, finally one of Chani's stories like I haven't read them in a long time, one of those stories by the author that as soon as you started you had to read it all in one go without stopping, I can't wait to read about the next protagonists I hope the stories will have dynamics that are as distinctive and interesting as this last one!

THIS is why I read CLF. This story is back to the intriguing, creative, and twist-filled plotting and intensely focused, complex character connections I had come to expect from the author’s unique work and style. It’s one of her Synastry-set omegaverse reads, and the best and most developed and polished of them so far. It delivered a riveting read.

Fenrir is the kind of morally gray character you can sink your teeth into (and Oberon literally does, because that man is no fool and knows a keeper when he buys one). Betrayed by family and sold into a slave/indentured situation at age 14, he’s been tortured with experiments that changed him from an alpha into an omega, and then trained to be the owner and leader of the Wardrobe’s personal pet/weapon. Oh, the Wardrobe is an exclusive bordello/sex business, but, Fenrir isn’t there for that use really. He’s to be sold for sex just this once. If he’s successful…

He's about to be deployed to spy on his “owner” Michelle’s potential enemy, the White Frost, a planetary mafia of which Oberon is a key member and the richest, known as the Purse. Fen’s supposed to lure in a much lower level member of the White Frost, someone less risky to fool. Oberon isn’t even supposed to be at the auction in which Fen’s next heat is offered for sale as part of a “heat virgins” sale. But the bored Oberon attends on a whim…and when his eye meets Fen’s, it’s game over for Fen. Or game on. Because despite someone so high up and powerful buying the first heat in which this alpha-turned-omega will ever be penetrated, Fen has a mission, and completing it is crucial if he wants to gain the semi-autonomy he has craved ever since he was forced into this fucked up situation with no way out. Even though targeting Oberon instead of a low-level member is likely to end with Fen’s death. In that case, at least he’ll be free of the insidious Michelle’s gaslighting, manipulations, and broken promises of something better if he continues to cooperate.

The situation is fraught with peril and insanely passionate. I loved it. Oberon goes feral for Fen even before they connect physically, but doesn’t really know it until they’re in the thick of heat and he cannot help but claim him, altering both their lives irrevocably. There’s no insta-love here, but the lust is feral and hot and leads the way to develop, over the course of the twist-filled book, that fragile emotional connection that moves from wary enemies who fuck to loyal partners who will die before they give each other up. STELLAR.

The absolute craving for each other is tangible. Fen's intent to depart after this heat? Ha ha ha yeah no, never gonna happen. Ultimately Fen’s fate isn’t his own choice, but somehow, becoming Oberon’s gives him the kind of autonomy that felt viscerally satisfying and right. And the way they take down the enemies….

JUSTICE. Thank you.

Fen’s special physicality is the icing on the cake, because he’s no ordinary alpha turned omega. No, he’s something far more unique and deadly…! Very cool. Literally. Ice cold.

So many special little things…Fen’s fear of the Butcher (Fiora) and how that plays out, his thirst for vengeance, the jaded and easily bored Oberon’s claiming and fall from “this is my toy” to “I will die for him” is so satisfying. 100% will re-read.

HEA. Super dark omegaverse romance. Alpha-turned omega, unique abilities, touch him and DIE, claiming bites, heat, romantic suspense. NO OM action or drama, just villain drama and vengeance. Both men have pasts, but Fen's is majorly f'd up. Highly recommended for CLF and super dark romance fans.

My thanks to BookSirens for the ARC; this is my free and impartial opinion.

ARC Review – His Marked Omega by Chani Lynn Feener

At this point, Chani Lynn Feener could publish a grocery list and I would read it. Her omega books own me, and His Marked Omega just reaffirmed that completely.

This story is dark, obsessive, high-heat omegaverse with a mafia twist, and it absolutely delivers.

Fenrir Snow is not your typical omega. Born an alpha and forcibly stripped of his designation through brutal experimentation, he’s been reshaped into something the world wants to label as compliant and controllable. Except Fen is neither of those things. He’s sharp. He’s powerful. He’s hiding more than anyone realizes. And watching him navigate being underestimated? Delicious.

Then we get Oberon King. High-ranking White Frost mafia alpha. Confident. Dangerous. Slightly dramatic. Immediately gone the second Fen steps into his orbit.

The undercover element added so much tension, but the real magic was the dynamic. This is alpha x ex-alpha/synthetic omega, and that distinction matters. Fen still carries alpha traits, and the push and pull between them constantly keeps you questioning who is actually running the show.

Oberon gives strong “touch him and you’re done” energy, but he also has these unexpectedly soft moments that made me feral. Meanwhile Fen is rolling his eyes while secretly dismantling everything around him. The obsession escalates fast, but it feels earned. It feels inevitable.

And the possessiveness? Top tier.

This book includes dark themes such as trafficking, experimentation, violence, power play, dub-con elements, and explicit sexual content. It is very much a darker omegaverse romance, so check the author’s note for full details if you need them.

No mpreg. Guaranteed HEA. Maximum obsession.

If you love morally gray mafia alphas, powerful omegas who refuse to submit quietly, secret abilities, and a relationship where both characters are a little unhinged in the best way, this one needs to be on your list immediately.

Chani does not miss. Not once.

HIS MARKED OMEGA is the fourth book in the Beguiled Omegas series, although you can read it as a standalone.

Oberon King is known as the Purse of the White Frost, while Fenrir is simply known as Wolf. Fen has lived for many years as a Product of The Wardrobe, and has one final mission before his mistress, Michelle, says he will be claimed as Pack. Of course, you know it's not going to be straightforward!

I loved the back and forth between our two MCs, complete with their cheesy romantic one-liners and the dad jokes. That was balanced by Fenrir's heartbreaking backstory that came out in dribs and drabs. They are ably supported by a host of characters, some of whom I've heard of or met in previous books.

This is a dark romance, so it does come with trigger warnings. Please read to ensure it's safe for you. I personally didn't think it was too bad, but that's me. Use your judgment for your own mental health.

A great read that I thoroughly enjoyed and have no hesitation in recommending.

Any time Chani finishes a book, I always drop what I am doing to read it (even if I have to adult ugh). Still one of my favorite authors to read especially when it comes to dark reads. I am really enjoying the stories she is creating within the omegaverse, though I enjoy all her stories. The world is unique and very interesting to read about. I've always liked the Alpha x Alpha dynamic, even though Fen is no longer an Alpha, I loved his personality. He was headstrong and no dandy flower; but all of Chani's omegas are no push overs. I really liked the back story of Fen. It gave him an even more of an equal standing with Oberon. Though, I liked that there was a flaw in this which made it more real and not godly.

The commentary between the two (and the side characters) was also hilarious. I also liked how Fen still had trauma from every thing that was done to him and it was depicted in the story. It wasn't glossed over and or ignored.

I am still looking forward to Levi's story and also Shiloh's (but more Levi cause it's Levi).

Chani Lynn just gets better and better the more I read... And that's saying something because I was already obsessed with her work from the start 😈.

Fenrir & Oberon's story might be my new favourite (until the next one 😏) and I am obsessed with their dynamic! The entire premise of Fenrir's backstory was one I haven't read before and I LOVED every second of it. Oberon was the perfect mate for him and thankfully was as obsessed with Fen as Fen needed him to be 🥹. This has some serious hurt/comfort vibes even if there are some darker aspects.

I seriously love this new series and can't wait for Leviathan's story... And honestly any story in the future to come 😍.

Fen & Oberon were absolutely 🔥🔥 together and their spicy scenes? 🫠🥵💥 Absolute perfection in my eyes 🤣 I was SWEATING 😅. If you've loved any of Chani's books then this won't disappoint and if you love Omegaverse with a helping of dark and mysterious then you should definitely check this (and the rest of the series) out 💘.

Another Excellent Book in Chani's Omegaverse Series!

I read this as an ARC, and I absolutely adored it!

I've enjoyed every book in this series so far, but Fenrir and Oberon are my favorite characters in it. There are also Chani's staple triggers that tend to appear in most of her stories, but overall, this one is considerably more tame than some of the others.

Don't get me wrong, though... Definitely read the trigger warning page that Chani always includes because her books can be intense. However, if you love over-the-top possessive alphas and fierce omegas in a well-written, well-executed story that is deeply engaging, then you should definitely read this book.

The spice is delicious, as per usual, and the action and plot are, muah!, chef's kiss.

10/10 totally recommend. This is not your ordinary omegaverse story, and that's a very good thing!

As expected from this author, this was a great story.

Fenrir and Oberon's story was actually sweet, considering how they met and how both of them are. They got attached surprisingly fast, and Oberon was quite honest about his feelings from the start. Instead of resisting and pushing him away, Fenrir gave him a chance too. He'd always wanted to belong somewhere, so that makes sense, though.

I honestly loved that Fenrir wasn't weaker or more delicate because he was the omega in the relationship. He'd been born an alpha, and he could be lethal when he wanted. A perfect partner to Oberon, who loved his fire and dangerous nature.

I would have liked this book to be longer, but I understood that their story was over. I'm just greedy, I guess lmao

Absolutely amazing world building. It is a truly talented author that can transport a reader completely in the world crafted by their words. It does not matter if you have read any other Chani Lynn Feener book. You don't need backstory, info about other characters is not necessary. Every book takes you on a beautiful journey that is completely crafted to stand alone.
I absolutely adored Fenrir and Oberon. Such a unique story and all the explanations given for their personalities and backgrounds blended in seamlessly.

In this omegaverse novel, Fenrir is an Alpha chemically converted to an Omega and put up for auction where his heat is bought by Oberon King, a high ranking White Frost Mafia Alpha member known as the "purse". Fen has mysterious abilities, Oberon claims him without his knowledge and the book is full of secrets, intrigue, iffy consents and possession. It's also red Hot with spice, desire, passion and so much want. Chani's books always drive home desire and make you realize you want the basic needs of domination and obsession. Every book of hers is my favorite.

As always, another fantastic read from Chani. I absolutely love the universe she’s created—seeing all the different species and races intertwine (even in brief mentions) is such a cool touch and makes the world feel huge and alive.

And, as always with her books, the possessive MCs are everything. Their chemistry is intense, their angst is deliciously tumultuous, and the push-pull between them kept me hooked. It’s a quick, fun read that hit all the right notes for what I want in a dark MM romance.

Chani has this gift of bringing you into her stories and having you feel like you are the one experiencing it.
The way O made Fen really feel like he was wanted, truly, with no hidden agenda while also being a dirty little fucker was amazing!
Also with the addition of the Shout abilities included in the alpha turned omega made it even better.
The Shouts / Whispers are a favorite of mine, so I was happily surprised when that came about.
Looking forward to even more from her!

Was a quick read. I really liked how the power imbalance between the two was kinda lessened with Fen being the shout and Oberon the whisper ,it made their dynamic way more interesting for me .I also really liked how Fen after succeeding the wardrobe he didn't just burn it to the ground and just made the living conditions better for the omegas who remained, and also acknowledging their trauma and having most things inbuilt in the apartment was really nice and considerate for him.
It was a really nice read overall 🫶🫶

I just recently found Chani Lynn Feener's books and let me tell you they have been a breathe of fresh air. I had never read any Sci-Fi Romances quite like this. The universe she has created to encompass every book and every character is just unique and special. This book is no different. I love this series because I love Omegaverse and this series is fantastic. Since it is dark Fenrir and Oberon have a story to tell before they make it to their HEA but it is well earned! Like most of Chani's books read the trigger warning if you have any otherwise enjoy the ride!

My fave universe of all time! Fenrir and Oberon have an interesting A/O dynamic with an intriguing, unique twist. Love when the MC is utterly obsessed and consumed, gah!!! Fab read, great plot and heat. More context and better reading experience if you've read her other A/O books but would still work well as a standalone. So looking forward to more from this world, especially Levi.

I really liked that Oberon wasn’t the typical harsh, dominant alpha. He’s softer, more emotionally driven, and clearly smitten from the very beginning, whether he wants to admit it or not. The premise immediately hooked me too: an alpha chemically altered into an omega through scientific experimentation, all while harboring intriguing hybrid abilities? Yes, please. Overall, I really enjoyed Fenrir and Oberon’s story.

Every aspect of this was so original. Fen previously being an alpha and due to so many horrible things being done to him he is an omega. He ends up with Oberon who is an alpha but a bit of a clumsy one. I spent most of the book smiling and wondering which one of them was in control of the situation!

I really enjoyed this book! It definitely served its purpose of providing more information about this new galaxy that Chani is writing about. I really enjoyed diving a little more into Synastry with this one and loved the dynamic between Fenrir and O. To be honest, this book made me more excited for both Levi's book and Wren's book.

Definitely the best one in the series, I couldn't put it down. It was so unique and fun, such a great and interesting concept. Anyways, I'm excited for the next part!! 🩷
