About the author

Kate Halena was born in Sydney NSW and, after travelling extensively around Australia, now resides in Brisbane QLD.

She discovered her love for writing at a young age and went on to study Professional Writing (Creative Arts) at TAFE, alongside Accounting and Business Administration.

She splits her spare time between writing her own fiction and supporting other authors through content, developmental, and line editing. While working on Somewhere Between Lies, she also wrote several other stories, which she plans to release one by one in the near future.

I really enjoyed reading this book. The story felt realistic, with situations that could genuinely happen in real life, and it did make me wonder whether the author had drawn some inspiration from her own experiences. I loved the characters. Alesha and Lindsey were my favs. (Lindsey is the kind of friend everyone wants in their life.) Overall, it’s a refreshing and easy-to-read story that I would happily recommend to anyone.
