Luca and Harper’s story continues to grow. To protect his wife and son, Luca becomes more involved in his father’s mafia life. He’s learning that there are LEVELS of “bad”. Harper has still not really come to terms with the restrictions (and danger) of being part of a mafia family. She thinks she can still act independently and may, while trying to protect Luca, actually be putting him in more danger. Every book introduces a new couple and their problems but there are still a lot of loose ends in Luca and Harper’s relationship. Annoying and intriguing at the same time!.

The author has given us another heart pounding story that pulls us further into the lives of Luca, Harper and their son, Zeke. The fast-paced story keeps us turning the pages with danger, secrets, threats, action and steam.

Rather than focus on one couple like many authors do, here we have multiple characters and POVs in each book. With Luca and Harper, and family and friends, there is plenty of continuing drama, danger and more to keep you reading along. Loving this series.

This college romance had me engaging with Luca and Harper through the dangerous twists and turns that it takes. It is well written with lots of steam and compelling characters I enjoyed connecting with.
