This book is my naked Soul. It's the heart of my heart. My flesh on a plate. My lives and my deaths. It's all I have. It's all I had.
Inner, The Breath of God, Volume 1 is an epic poetic work divided into five sections, each with three subsections. While primarily in English, it flows across languages―French, Arabic, Latin, with traces of Spanish, Hebrew, and even ancient tongues. You'll encounter artistic expressions, unusual spellings, word variations and multilingual layers with meanings that shift and intertwine. There are references to sacred writings, ancient mythologies, stories, legends, places, numbers and creatures. Inner, The Breath of God, Volume 1 is an autopsy of the soul. A dissection of the spirit. A challenge to the status quo. It's a vision, a present, and a proposal. A secret spiritual map―inviting you to think, decipher, and comprehend universal notions such as God, the Self, human behavior, the cosmos, spacetime, love, emotions, faith, liberation, nature, and freedom.
At its core, every word revolves around God Almighty. It emphasizes that the true treasure you've been searching for is right here. It's in you. It's You. This is a journey inward and outward. The words serve as translations of the Soul's conversation with the Beloved. The text is a spiritual tapestry, woven through poetry, prose, and occasional aphorism. I've remained faithful to my thoughts in the structure and flow. It's fluid, immersive, nonlinear―meant to reflect life: its unpredictability, changes, beauty, disruption, and mystery. It may pull you into the unknown, then return you to the known. It may appease, then enrage. It may provoke, then comfort. It may lift you, then drop you. It may be clear, then confusing.
There are books you admire, and then there are books that quietly change something within you. Inner, The Breath of God did exactly that.
I don’t think I’ve read a poetry collection that flows so effortlessly. Every poem feels like it belongs exactly where it is, carrying you deeper into reflections on God, love, the soul, and what it means to truly know yourself. It doesn’t just ask to be read, it asks to be experienced.
What stayed with me most was its honesty. There’s something incredibly raw and fearless about Ghassen Ghaderi’s writing. It challenged me, comforted me, and left me sitting with my own thoughts long after I turned the final page.
This is more than poetry; it’s a conversation with the self.
Ghassen Ghaderi has gained a lifelong reader in me. I can’t wait to discover more of his work.
Ghassen has poured his heart and soul into this mystic volume of poetry. He seems to ask the questions that come to mind. Who is God? How does one get acquainted with their version of God?
He talks about love, spirituality, self, and the meaning of life. The poems range from 6 lines to longer. I found it a bit difficult to sit with for long stretches, especially considering the gravity of the matters being discussed. It is not a breezy read. You need to chew it peacefully, take in the nourishment and slowly digest it in your own time.
A master of alliteration, Ghassen seems to show his for this poetic device throughout the volume. I love the language, you will find French and Arabic words strewn here and there. It adds to the beauty. All in all, a highly spiritual journey into the self and beyond.
Author Ghassen Ghediri’s work in its entirety, here in “Inner, The Breath of God,” is a poem in itself, and a delight to get lost in. From the dedication, to the final note and multilingual glossary, it uplifts your spirit, radiates the beauty of life, and makes you feel loved. The sincerity of this work is apparent in every word and how they are crafted together in a unique and intentional way that further brings this authors feelings and art to life. God bless YOU Ghassen, and this enchanting piece of art you’ve brought to the world to touch all our hearts friend, piece by piece, poem, by poem. Bravissimo e, Grazie.

Reading these poems is a visceral experience; the verses are so potent that they compel you to slow down and truly presence yourself with each word. Inner, The Breath of God, Volume 1 by Ghassen Ghediti is not just a book of poetry—it is a spiritual awakening bound in ink. From the very first page, where the excerpt notes speak of a rare and undeniable genius, you sense that you are stepping into a sacred space. Reading this collection feels like peering into the deepest, quietest parts of your own soul, uncovering truths that existed long before you even had the words to express them. Ghediti possesses a breathtaking ability to articulate the transcendent. In pieces like Back to the Truth, he strips away the noise and superficiality of the modern world—the isolation, the greed, the distractions—to remind us of the divine purity within: "You have a Beautiful Spirit." His verse in My Religion redefines devotion entirely, stripping away rigid convention and empty formality to celebrate faith as something raw, living, and deeply personal—a "profound celebration" found in love, gratitude, and essential kindness. There is an overwhelming sense of cosmic surrender and peace throughout the collection. In The Wind of Time, the fleeting nature of existence dissolves into a quiet, profound communion with God, where time itself collapses and leaves only grace. Then, in Death is Celebration, Ghediti turns our greatest fear into a radiant triumph, reminding us that light "can’t be beaten, can’t be fought" and that what we call an end is merely a luminous return to the origin. By the time you reach the humble, raw intimacy of The Builder of the Throne, your heart feels entirely open, aching with the beauty of total surrender: "You gave me my life, I give it back to You." This collection is a sanctuary for anyone searching for meaning, healing, and connection with the Divine. It holds your spirit gently, ignites your faith, and leaves you profoundly changed. Ghassen Ghediti has created a masterpiece of pure, luminous emotion that will stay with me forever.
This is a beautiful collection of spiritual poems that explores deep concepts, such as God, existence, death and morality. The poems evoke a wide range of emotions. Some are calm and soothing, others exciting and inspiring. There is a strong emphasis on the greatness of God and how all our spirits are intertwined. I particularly enjoyed the section on love and loss. The book is scattered with words in different languages, numbers and references to sacred texts. I found this to be a special and unique touch. There are translations and a glossary to aid the reader. The pronunciation of foreign words is also included, which helps to maintain the flow of the poems. This book is a spiritual journey within itself, gently navigating the reader towards a more appreciative and joyous life. I could reread it several times and keep discovering new layers.
Ghassen wrote this piece so intriguing that for me it feels less like a book you simply read and more like a book you sit with.
This book moves through spirituality, love, existence, the self, and the many questions that surround our relationship with the Divine. He wrote this through a mixture of poetry, prose, and aphoristic passages, the book has a deliberately fluid quality. It doesn't always feel interested in taking the reader from one point to another; instead, it invites you to wander, pause, question, and return to certain thoughts from a different angle.
One of the things I found particularly interesting was the way language itself becomes part of the experience. The presence of Arabic, French, Latin, and other linguistic influences gives the collection a layered, almost meditative quality--which made the most impact to me as a reader. There is a sense that some ideas are meant to be felt before they are completely understood.
What stayed with me most was the book's inwardness. Beneath all of its questions about God and the universe is a recurring invitation to examine the self—to look inward and consider what we carry, what we believe, what we love, and what gives our existence meaning. And the message that stayed with me most was: "Because My God Created Me with this Weakness He shouldn’t hold me accountable for it.” This isn't necessarily a book I'd recommend rushing through. Its density and philosophical nature make it better suited to slow reading, where individual poems and passages can be given room to breathe, allow ourselves to contemplate and wonder as the questions and realization slowly unfold. Some moments resonated with me immediately, while others felt more distant or required more patience.
Ultimately, Inner, The Breath of God, Volume 1 feels like an intensely personal offering from its author: imperfect, searching, spiritual, and deeply sincere. Whether every thought resonates with the reader or not, there is something admirable about a work that so openly attempts to explore the largest questions we carry within ourselves.
Inner, The Breath of God is a powerful and deeply personal work. Ghassen Ghediri writes with honesty, vulnerability, and spiritual insight, creating a book that speaks directly to the inner life. His blend of languages and poetic forms gives the text a unique rhythm and emotional depth. Some passages comfort, others challenge, but all of them feel alive. This is a book for anyone seeking meaning, healing, or a deeper connection with themselves. A beautiful and unforgettable read. As a fellow mystic I know the terrain, the path he has walked and I congratulate him on his success and journey.

fate brought me to read this book and i could read many destinies in it, even if the author is just one inspired poet. i can see hope for a better world, a mystical Love with its beauties and its painful moments, a spirituality that transcends dogmas, that lets he soul speak directly from the heart, the questions about oneself. about the language, i found many unique idioms and it enriched me with a subtle knowledge and richness of vocabulary. Inner vol 1 is the air that lets your need for magic breathe. (can't wait for vol 2!!!!!!)
Ghassen Ghediri’s Inner, The Breath of God, Volume 1 is beautiful. It feels like a direct transmission from the author’s heart: his “naked Soul” offered without filters. He weaves vulnerability, poetry, and prose into sections that explore divine love and cosmic oneness.
Certain parts felt devotional and deeply contemplative. It carries echoes of mysticism but also feels intensely personal. It’s a gem in contemporary spiritual poetry that reminds us that goodness will prevail. I loved it.
This book is very beautiful and well written. Its spiritual and full of wonder. If you want to read something positive and brilliant, pick this book up today! It will not disappoint!
They say not every book is for every reader- and this was not for me. I don’t enjoy being harsh on my reviews as I realize someone put themselves out there and I appreciate that. However, not taking in the self absorbed, privileged attitude that is conveyed, it wasn’t that good. The cadence is off, the tone is as though only the writer understands what and who God is and doesn’t try to connect the reader with the words or emotion. It lacks depth.
