⭐️4.75 - I knew this book would break me, but I went into it with an open mind anyway. And it was phenomenal. This is the pinnacle of every book from 12-19 all stuffed into 140 pages. After how the last book ended, I had no idea where this one was going to go. I loved the direction it took, I loved how emotional it was, how heartbreaking and healing it ended up being. I was near tears at the third act and it wrapped up in a way that felt natural and real for the all characters involved. This series was one of the first ones that got me into monster romance back in 2022 and I never could have guessed how big an impact it would have on my life. I adore Clio Evans and seeing how she's grown as an author has been the best gift. These books are quick, spicy, funny (surprisingly dark randomly) and stuffed full of heart. I love this series.

I'm so sad that the Creature Cafe series is over (at least for now)! I'm so happy I stumbled across it, and I really enjoyed all the lovely stories woven together. The Barista was such a fun, dynamic character, so getting to experience his family, friends, and his children grow up and see that dynamic play out was so much fun to read.

I really loved Layla as a character, and seeing her finally find her fated mate in Death (Nox), and having it all come together in this one, was bittersweet and really heartwarming. I loved all of it. Clio Evans truly knows how to tell a good story from start to finish, even through interwoven novellas. I hope we get more in the future, but it also ended really nicely, even if we don't!

A Perfect Ending

I don't even know what emotions to put into this. Creature Cafe was the first series I picked up from Clio Evans. Watching the love she put on page, definitely made me a card holding monster lover. She hit kinks, types of monsters and stories I had never read and I am so grateful for it. I thought it was the end with the Barista, Lucy and Trixie's book but no it was the beginning for an entire new Era.
I hope we get more for the future but even if we don't, this was a great ending to an amazing series.

What an amazing conclusion to this series.

I honestly can’t even wrap my head around how this is the last book in the creature cafe series. I felt such a deep connection with all of the characters in every book and the found family. This book specifically was such a great conclusion to a great series, I loved the relationship that develops between the MCs I love their banter and the tension between them. I just love this series so much, it will definitely stick with me for a very long time. Also hopefully Clio Evans decides to write more books in this series.

With tears

I was bawling before it ended and then I read the note after the end more tears. This was the perfect ending, for now, I’m just in awe. Barista! I can’t believe it. I would so visit Creature Cafe if I could. You know what would be cool if beans would be made? I would buy them. Oh and an accompanying recipe book. That would be so fun. I’m happy but also sad it’s over. I feel good though. Now I need to start them over from the beginning. I’m so glad you wrote this series Clio, thank you!

Good “end” to the series

This wrapped up so much from the 2nd half of Creature Cafe. Unlike the other books in the stores, there was a lot that wasn’t just Layla and Nox coming together. But it was still a great story. It tied up enough that it’d be ok if there weren’t anymore books, but also leaves it open enough that Clio could easily write more in the series.

This series holds a very special place in my heart. I will always gladly go back and live through it all again and again.
Nox and Layla might be myself favorite, but every other character and story is a close second. I love them all.
