“The Truth calls you.”

The voyage across the Raging Sea was only the beginning. Now, Wilkin makes a daring return to his homeland and rightful throne, but as the twisted corruption in Skovlar becomes apparent and the Dark Ones wrap their fingers around his heart, he must learn to wield the sword of truth before his entire world shatters.

Meanwhile, Keira endures life in the dungeons beneath King Damon’s wrath. When unlikely events reveal a secret resistance force amid Adelaar, she’s pulled into the ultimate testing of her strength and a battle that extends far beyond the physical.

Forces collide in this riveting conclusion to The Kingdom Adventures series, and Skovlar and Conwald must stand in the light together… or be forever consumed.

Truthcall continues the events set in the first book and explores the nature of truth, faith, and love. While this book contains elements of violence, it is clean, with no gore, sex, or swearing.

Before I even start,.....
I cannot believe this author is ONLY 17!!!
Impossible!
She has to be one o f those rare 60 year old women who 'look' 17,
because there is NO way such a young person could write
such a beautiful Godly series.

But....AHA ...since she is 17
then
she does not have a leg to stand on!!!

She needs to have her next novel completed before the new year!!
So there!
After all, I am 80...
so naps and lollygagging are 'my' speed.
I have lived to now be in the:
It's all about 'ME", selfies, etc.

Oh and victim hood
I am a victim of slow writing authors
Sigh!
Can you feel my pain?

But for a 17 year old,
she can get up at four....before the sun,
and work all day and night writing.

I don't have all day
waiting for her next extraordinarily amazing novel!
I need her next masterpiece yesterday!!

I cried and had to pray in several spots, it so touched my spirit!

I also loved that she focused on the sins of:

I have to do this all by myself!
The sin of pride, and not trusting God.

But then
God does chase down His wayward 'sheep'!

And the hard lesson is learned,
the person forgiven and their faith stronger than ever!
( surely she didn't have ME in mind when she wrote that
so why was there tears in my eyes?

Well, I have to find 'something' to nit pick
after all, it is my joy in life to go after 17 year old young woman...
I have an 18 year old grandson
so I have lots of experience with the terrible teens!!

The ending was fine...
But I wanted more!!

I wanted them to not JUST court
but marry,
and see how they dealt with being royals
and their children etc. etc.

Other than that I cannot think of anything else

Oh wait, of course
Silly me

HURR!!! HURRY !!!
and write the next novel!!

youngins!
Go figure!

Truthcall Review and Content Warnings:

An In Depth Content Guide:
🤐 Language: Blast is said 4 times; “God-forsaken” is said once; “darn” is said once; many curses are said but not written
💋 Romantic Content: One or two nondescript hand kisses (more chivalrous than romantic); nondescript flirty feelings and attraction between two characters; many mentions of a mother who died in childbirth (though it is past tense it still gets semi-descript); 2 forehead kisses (one is from Keira’s brother to her); a couple embraces
⚔️ Violence: Moderate semi-descript including: blood; wounds; sword fights; death; murder; dead bodies; dragon fire; mentions of an attempted murder (from book 1); battle and war
👻 Spiritual Content: This is a Christian book, therefore there are Christian themes (such as prayer, mentions and worship of God, mentions of church, etc.); A couple people are possessed by Dark Ones but it was written about very carefully and was portrait as more of a spiritual warfare than just straight-up possession; 6 mentions of demons (no details); The Dark Ones represent demons; A dragon represents Satan; a character has an in-person meeting with the allegorical representation of Jesus (I know that this sounds weird. But you have to trust me when I say that it wasn’t written like THAT. It was written in a way where Jesus saved the character when no one else could. It was so, so sweet.)
⭐️ Other Content Considerations: Pubs; tobacco; beer
🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Age Rating: 13/14+

My Review:

Ah! What a good duology!
Like the first book, the spiritual elements were beautifully and powerfully written. (Yes, I cried multiple times—again.) The characters were just as vivid and heartfelt as before. Austin remains my favorite—his arc was everything I hoped for and more, and I’m still smiling about how his story wrapped up.
Truthcall left me both speechless and stirred.
The message is strong, radiant, and deeply convicting. The first book was a “Cry,” and this one is most definitely a “Call.” A call to battle. A call to arms. A call to anyone willing to lay everything down and follow God wholeheartedly. A call to Christians—who will go? And a call to non-Christians—when the world grows dark, who will you turn to?

And finally, a call from me to the author herself: please, release your next book soon. My heart (and my bookshelf) are ready for whatever you write next.

Lovely story

Lovely story and especially the way the author integrated their faith and the Maker/Creator, even the Dark Ones. Although their place in the story - the way they were presented altered some from turning into ash at the Makers words vs actual fighting with blades. I found that a bit confusing but still a story well done.
