Adorable concept, some really creative moments that shone and relatable characters. It didn’t quite flow well, but I enjoyed the bumpy ride regardless, this could just be because I’m reading an advanced copy. I felt like we only got half of a spicy scene and were left to imagine the rest otherwise this would have rated higher for me. I’m a sucker for smutty smut so that’s just a personal preference. I did however really like the last chapter, it was a wonderful conclusion.

Thank you to Elsie LePlant & the Planet WLN269 team for the ARC. This review is my genuine thoughts from my chaotic book-gremlin brain and I would encourage all readers to check out this series and form their own opinions 💜

This story had a fun concept for sure. Kozmo was not a winner right off the bat but grew on me as a character. Gorgg was immediately sweet, loving, a little slow on the go but learned fast one would say. The execution felt a little off beat. I found myself connecting dots between plot developments that were not directly gone through in the story itself. They sort of just became things and I felt like I was missing stuff or important information as we went. The spicy scene felt a bit incomplete as well at least for me. The final chapter though was great and wrapped everything up nicely and sort of made up for what I felt was missing along the way.

**ARC Review***
Tai was a relatable and likable FMC, Gorgg was immediately sweet, sexy, & lovable, and I didn’t start off liking Kosmo, but he grew on me by the end. Quite often throughout the story I felt a little lost, understanding the gist from context clues, but feeling like I missed some background information on the MC’s/supporting characters and their relationship dynamics.

Another slam dunk for Elsie!!! This book was absolutely great💥💥💥 I could not stop giggling and kicking my feet the whole time😌 The dynamic between the 3 main characters was the perfect mix of sweet and spicy, and I would love to read a full length version of their story! Love love love

Tai has hit rock bottom, she’s stuck in grief of losing her spouse and recently lost her job. Tai’s besties from her spicy book club encourages her to sign up for the H.E.L.P. Dating App and she matches with aliens Gorgg, a huge gargoyle-looking dude, and Kozmo, a stand-offish green guy. Gorgg is enthusiastic and sweet, not quite a himbo, but kind of. Kozmo is more brooding and succinct with his communication. I initially didn’t love Kozmo, but he started growing on me once the story continued and we got his POV. He’s ultimately just super protective of their boyfriend. I loved the insta attraction of Tai and Gorgg and Koz and Tai’s eventual relationship development.

Some of the flow of the novella was a little choppy and I wish we could have expanded on some parts of the storyline and characters to get to know them better, but it’s kind of hard to do in a novella. Overall the vibes were there and I had a great time reading, so no complaints on my part. The characters were endearing and I loved the tie-in with characters from the other novellas of the series

-Standalone novella, around 110 pages, in a shared world with other books in the series.
-Alien dating app
-MMCs alien couple x FMC human
-Boyfriends who are boyfriends
-Best friends and lovers, who forgot how to be lovers
-Grief- loss of spouse and job
-Grief- loss of a limb
-Bisexual rep
-Size difference
-Grumpy x sunshine
-Spicy book club
-Unique peen
-Multi POV

I think Tai might be the most relatable FMC since she literally has a Monster Romance Book Club lol

This book was another look at a polycule and I love seeing different poly relationships and the various dynamics. Watching them all grow to love, respect, and understand each other is incredibly special.

Somehow I never really fully understood all these characters though. I couldn't quite grasp all the side characters and I wish we had more time with the main group together too. We do get some time with the friends but they felt more like shapes than personalities to me and it didn't fully work. Was I supposed to like or hate creepy clown guy in the end and why was he still one of their friends?

I did, however, like the commentary on grief. I felt that it was handled well and I felt for Tai. I think it would've helped to get more from her about why she signed up for the program though, especially if it involved that grief. You can kind of assume it has to do with the monster loving and also the lost love but I didn't think it was ever really discussed and I was missing that layer of backstory.

That being said, the polycule is still sweet and I think if I had more time with them and all the other characters I would've liked this more!

Her we have Tai looking for something new since she has been having a rough time lately. She tries an alien dating app and finds Kozmo, who doesn't reply, and Gorgg, who does. As she comes to find out later they happen to be a packaged deal. Cute development with Gorgg happens and once she is on planet things with Kozmo seem to sort themselves out.

This book has so much potential. after it gets edited and fixed up I would love to give it another read since I did get confused at parts as to what was going on.

Team Squibble ARC review.

The third book as per Squibble team. We follow Taissa, Gorgg and Kozmo.

I had a harder time getting into the story of this book since it had a lot of texting/messaging coverage.
But when they are finally together, their interaction and chemistry is affectionate.
Their 🌶️ is nicely written and so fun to read how it might be with more than 1 alien lol.

Again personally I had a harder time getting into this story.
So my feels with this story were not on fleek.

ARC REVIEW 🪨

Between a Rock and a Hard Place
@authorelsiel installment in the @planetwln269 will have you CACKLING 😂

Kozmo and Gorgg are in a committed relationship but Kozmo feels he cannot give Gorgg everything he needs. Tiassa just lost her job and is ready for an alien dick down. She may just get more than she bargained for 💕

This adorable match made in space includes:
MMF
Tail play (it vibrates)
BDSM elements
Strap-on
PTSD
Workplace injury

Yes again ANOTHER 5 ⭐️ read. Maybe one of my favorites of the series so far.

Releasing 2/10 - pre order now!!

A quick easy relatively fun read. I wish there was more time shown with the FMC and MMCs actually together versus all of the communication leading up to them finally meeting.

(3.5 ⭐️) I loved the core of this book, I just wanted *more* all around. I wanted more preface for Tai and for Kozmo+Gorgg, more relationship development, more getting to know friends, and (this one’s a personal preference) more love and spice. 🌶️🌶️

I received an eARC from the author in exchange for an honest review 🪐

I thought this was a really cute idea for a story and I did enjoy it but I found it pretty tough to follow in certain spots and felt like I was missing some information throughout the book. With some more context added I think this could be an amazing book.

Taissa is looking for a fresh start. So why not check out the H.E.L.P.? She starts with Kozmo and it didn’t seem to go anywhere. But their profile list a Gorgg so she goes and finds him. Turns out they have something to build on. Then turns out they are all going to be connected in a triangle kinda way.
Kozmo and Gorgg have a very good thing going but with how their planet can find women Kozmo things it’s time for Gorgg to find someone to fill a role he hasn’t been able to. They have some fun conversations before they meet and even more when they all are under one roof.
I wish we got more from this group.
It was a great read.

3.5/5 not rounded up

I thought this was a cute concept and there was a good amount of representation in the characters but it just didn’t hit for me. I didn’t fall in love with the aliens like I have so far in the other Planet WLN269 universe. I think I was excited about a cute polycule story and was just kind of disappointed at the execution of the entire thing

This is a fun polyam novella in which our human FMC Tai joins an already existing relationship between Gorgg and Kozmo. I love how they are so careful with each other’s feelings as that can be a difficult dynamic to navigate without the added factor of being three separate species. And the spice in this is spicing and begging for some bonus NSFW art (also this is me begging 😏 cuz that would be fire).

Sweet alien x human polycule!

Enjoyed this quick and steamy story! I loved that Tai took control of moving her physical relationship with Gorrg to the next level (with help from Kozmo, of course). Another great story for the Planet WLN269 series!

I really enjoyed this book — it was emotional, tender, and thoughtfully written, with a relationship dynamic that felt layered and earned.

The grumpy x sunshine dynamic was a delight, especially with the twist that Grogg and Kozmo are already boyfriends when Tai enters their relationship. Sunshine Grogg’s warmth balanced beautifully against Kozmo’s grumpy, empathic nature. Tai’s storyline grounded the book emotionally. Her struggles on Earth — redundancy, underemployment at the local library, and unresolved grief added real depth and made her situation feel painfully relatable.

The exploration of polyamory was handled with a lot of care. The story shows how connections can be immediate or slow-burning, yet still deeply powerful, and how love and commitment can stretch across very different needs and even across galaxies.

This story feels emotionally rich and takes grief, healing, and unconventional relationship structures seriously while still delivering warmth and hope.

This is for readers who enjoy grumpy x sunshine dynamics, thoughtful polyamorous relationships, emotionally grounded sci-fi romance, and spice that genuinely supports character and relationship development rather than overpowering it.

I would like to start by thanking Elsie LePlant and the Planet WLN269 Arc team for allowing me the chance to read this ARC. All of the thoughts and opinions shared are my own!

This was absolutely cute, and was told in a way that felt so much fun and made it a seem like a digital meet cute. A large portion of this relationship is explored through messages before Tai gets to Planet WLN269. I loved that so much because you got to see the different characters come through and explore the dynamics between them before even getting to space and the spice. Also I would burn the world down for Kozmo and Gorgg who deserve everything and took the chances to get everything.

We definitely had a slow burn and it added to the relationships and them finding out about each other and who they are and how they all fit together. This was a perfect mix of spice and cuteness, and I loved how they made it work despite their differences in the bedroom.

🌶️🌶️🌶️

Absolutely loved this trip to Planet WLN269! First off, throuple. Also, a love letter to books. And monster romance books. And books about peens.

Tai, human and part time librarian, has suffered the devastating loss of her partner and is at lose ends when she decides to sign up for the HELP program and “meets” Kozmo and Gorgg, two committed aliens who want more. Kozmo is a small, damp, tailed empath who gets overwhelmed by the emotions of those around him. Gorgg is a giant rock creature who literally runs hot, has horns, and his large rock tool emerges from a razor sharp lotus. He’s a softie and big puppy dog and needs Kozmo to help direct him.

Glorious delicious spice with a bit of power play and pain, size difference, temperature play, a prehensile tail and an empathic character who can reach orgasm based on the emotions of those around him? Also, mpreg. Seriously, this lovely delightful romance had it all.

Taissa is no stranger to monsters due to her bookclub. So signing up for an alien dating app is just her speed. Little did she know she would get two for the price of one...

Kozmo encourages to his partner Gorgg that they both should sign up for H.E.L.P. They know Gorgg needs more than they can provide. And they find that in Taissa...

Loved watching Gorgg with Tai or "tiny". It was so freaking cute! Kozmo keeping his distance definitely makes more sense now but I wish we had more time to explore things. Same with getting to the spicy stuff. I feel like we needed more time to explore everything. They really do make a cute throuple though.

It was cute and sweet. I loved the idea of this story, a human, a gargoyle, and an alien was perfect. The problem was the execution. It was a bit messy and trying to keep up was hard. There were a lot of instances where things were repeated and conversations placed in the middle of another conversation. once I was able to connect the dots in the story, it really was a cute story. Finding yourself again after loss, especially one of this magnitude, is hard and I think Taissa did this when she found Gorgg. I didn't really like Kozmo in the beginning, but he did grow on me.

Taissa has been having a tough time so she signed up for the alien dating app in hopes of changing something but she gets matched with two Aliens, Gorgg and Kozmo.
She doesn't here anything from Kozmo but Gorgg is sweet and loves talking to her but then she finds out Kozmo and Gorgg are actually already together but she doesn't know how she will fit in.
Gorgg is like a loveable golden retriever and Kozmo is a little more harder to read but when she gets to the village they all make it work.
This was a cute addition to the Planet WLN269 series!

What isn’t there to love about Grogg he is an alien golden retriever himbo. He’s sweet and a gentle loving giant with a fancy peen area. He’s damaged but doing okay and working through it. He really just wants to be loved and give love in return. He’s totally gone both for her and Koz.

Koz is just a big softy who uses grumpiness like a shield and Tai is a total weak spot for him. Tai needs someone who’s going to love her unconditionally and see her worth and be okay with the pieces she’s willing to share.

They are a beautiful harmony. And there are surprises in the epilogue!

This was such a cute and spicy read! Gorgg and Kozmo are a couple that has you rooting for them from the start. But adding Tai to the mix and seeing them all finding steady ground was really sweet to witness. I loved the messages between them that built up to them all meeting in person. While there were parts that had me giggling, I also really just loved how wholesome they all were. Overall, this is definitely one of the spicier stories that I've read in the series.

Another banger from this series!

Its really refreshing to see the relationship between Tai and Gorgg blossom from text to in person, and while Kozmo transforming from an asshole to partner took longer, it was so well deserved!

Yes if: She's gotta call him on his text promises

No if: Empaths meddling too much in what you think vs what you say

WLN269 Needs Women Story by Elsie Leplant

TEAM SQUIBBLE ARC TEAM

I loved how vulnerable these characters are with each other. Through past spousal loss and limb loss, they are able to be there for each other. They’re willing to have to hard conversations and understand that things will be hard sometimes, but they can work through the process of life with each other.

Tai, Gorgg, and Kozmo were refreshing to read. 🫶🏼

I really liked all of the characters in this book I just wish that many of the spicy scenes were longer. Why imply pegging and then not show me the pegging. But overall I really loved Kozmo, Gorgg and Tai I thought they all worked so well together and that they are cute together

**Arc Review**

I wanted to love this book. It had so much potential. I'm not sure if it was because I received an ARC copy but I felt lost throughout a lot of it and felt I was missing a lot of information.

I needed more of the three characters personalities. It has a great concept and I loved the poly aspect and how accepting each were of the other, but I just felt lost a little too much.

I feel like this book had a lot of potential but it just sort of fell flat for me. I don’t really feel like I got to know the characters at all. It seems like we were maybe missing some parts of the book and it got a bit confusing at times. It just didn’t feel like a complete story and felt a bit rushed.

This was a sweet read, similar to another one in this series. Two aliens, and Tai the human. There is more build up in this book and it is a slow burn for sure. Cute to see the different personalities of all the characters!
