COMING APRIL 2026... Welcome to Wild Vista Ranch, where cowboy boots are a way of life and hearts run wild. Nestled in true cowboy country, visitors get a taste of the Texas Hill Country while enjoying horseback rides, campfires under the stars, and encounters with cowboys who are as rugged as they are loyal. This spring, a new season of guests will find that the cowboys of Rosewood County are impossible to resist and impossible to forget.
“I needed a change of pace and different scenery,” I told him, trying my best to keep my eyes on his face and not his chest. “So, you threw some cities in a hat, had your kid draw a location, and off you went?” “Sounds about right,” I answered. “Well, is the scenery to your liking?” Holy crap was it!
The last thing I wanted as a thirty-four-year-old divorcee with a daughter who was thirteen going on twenty was to be in a position where I could see my ex-husband flaunt his younger mistress. So, I had Tiffany, my daughter look at a map, pick ten random locations to move to, and randomly pick one out of a hat. That’s how we ended up in Rosewood County, Texas. And thanks to the small towns, I need something for Tiffany to do. That’s how I met Zeb, who was beyond good looking with the cutest of baby boys, but with an icy attitude towards me, one that I couldn’t explain. But that didn’t mean he didn’t tie me up in knots and left me guessing what was going on with him. Or even what I wanted to do with him.
I found Zeb difficult to like, he has a chip on his shoulder and basically verbally abuses Katie before she speaks a single word. He does later apologise and he does appear to be good with the kids, but I'm afraid I can't get past his initial unwarranted outbursts and actions. Katie however, I love. She is an awesome mum, has had a really rough ride with her ex husband but still doesn't bad mouth him to her daughter. She lets Tiffany make her own decisions about her dad, speaks to her as a young adult, not a child and involves her fully in decisions about their life. She can be serious, but she also ensures they have fun, have girl time and are honest with each other. Their sweet mother/daughter relationship saved this book for me and I do like that Zeb didn't hold his issues with Katie against Tiffany. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.
Hahaha! I loved this so much! When Zeb accused Katie of having her daughter pick a place to live randomly from a hat, I hit the floor laughing.👀 how did he know lol. To say things didn’t start off well between these two would be an understatement. But Katie and her daughter landed exactly where they were meant to be. As Katie and Zeb got to know each other better, things between them grew, and I loved seeing that they were starting to connect. Their banter, their moments. Things got pretty steamy after awhile. I loved reading this. Katie and Zeb were perfect. Their romance was fun, steamy, and sweet. A really great read.
She is ten years older and he thinks she’s amazing. He’s camp counselor, she’s a mom and blogger. Lots of real issues, complex feelings and a very happy ending.
I always look forward to arc reading Theresa’s books as they are just so amusing and fun and her writing style is so good.
This book was no exception! It’s a short read but is full of Texas ranch shenanigans. The main FMC, Katie is in her mid thirties and is a single mum trying to do the best she can for her daughter. The cowboy MMC, Zeb is in his mid twenties and a councillor on the ranch that Katie arrives at in order to make a fresh start and escape her horrible ex husband, Todd. They do NOT hit it off at first and there starts an age gap romance which is undeniable.
A great easy cowboy read with spicy scenes, feel good moments and an ending that will make you smile.
Loved Zeb and Katie. Tiffany was my favourite character her love for her mother and her kind heart was perfect could have been better if I could see the confront between Todd and Zeb not one sentence explaining
