Squeeze the Day by Emelle Gill is such a cute read! Absolutely loved the happy ending and the plot twist at the end. There was no coincidences here and it really is fate. 100% recommend this book for a cute and quick read.
Squeeze The Day by Emelle Gill is a story between our MC's Mallory and Jake. Mallory has just found out that her job has been disbanded or downsized. She is 30 years old and single with not much to look forward to at this time. But she realizes that this is a blessing as she can do anything and go anywhere. She is driving home from her failure at her loosing her job and finds an adorable kitten in a box. She has always wanted to have an adult beverage lemonade stand called “Squeeze The Day”. She reaches out to Jake who owns a trailer that Mallory wants for her dream of the lemonade stand to become a realty. Jake owns a whole bunch of restaurants and needs to relax and be successful but also take a break. Mallory's best friends step in to help her fund the trailer renovations. I loved this story and Mallory's friends and supportive family really make the story great! The story has a great flow and really keeps you reading till the end. I really loved the relationship with Jake and Mallory annd even the little bit of spice thrown into this book;) This was an excellent read overall and I would love to read more from the author soon!
I really liked the premise of the story and the banter however I found myself getting a little annoyed how convenient and easily some things would fall in place. Other than that I feel like it is a quick read and has a nice message behind it!
A fun tale of happenstance and kismet! The characters are really likable and relatable. Quite steamy for those who are into that. It’s filled with humor and romance. The author has intertwined a character from a previous novella, “Love On the Road” (you should read it too). Looking forward to seeing what’s next from this up and coming talent.
This was a fun short and sweet romance involving new beginnings, chance encounters and beachy Cali vibes. The spicy parts were just perfect and the story just flowed. It was easy to read. Some of the tropes are he falls first, forced proximity, small town, friends to lovers, slow burn and found family. Thanks to the author for sending me a review copy!
