Cohen was raised to lead the Swaeda, his strength forged in the frozen forests of Athas. But when the seer speaks of a fractured spirit and a mate waiting in the Underworld, his path shifts. Leaving behind everything he knows, Cohen ventures into a realm untouched by time, tasked with a journey that could reshape the future of his people—and bind him to a female he’s never met.

Haven is no stranger to pain. After surviving loss, betrayal, and a war that stole too much, she’s built walls she has no intention of lowering. Surrounded by friends and safe for the first time in nearly her entire life, she still can’t shake the feeling that her heart was buried with the man who died to protect her.

But fate does not wait for readiness.

As Cohen steps into Haven’s world, he brings with him not only the weight of the seer’s prophecy but a presence she can’t ignore. Their connection is undeniable—but healing doesn’t come easily, especially when the past still whispers and the future grows darker by the day.

As ancient Gods begin to stir and the balance of Athas teeters, Haven and Cohen must face more than just the bond between them.

They must decide if love, after everything they’ve lost, is still worth the risk.
