Tish has learned the hard way that love can be deadly. Escaping an abusive relationship, she leaves everything behind- her home, her safety, and the life she thought she wanted. On the run, she forms unlikely friendships that help her heal, giving her hope, courage, and the strength to keep moving forward.
When she finally arrives in Colorado, Tish meets Wil, a man who feels like fate itself. He's kind, steady, and everything she never thought she deserved. But trusting again is harder than running.
A tarot reader and proud descendant of witches, Tish must navigate love, trust, and her own power. Can she stop running long enough to claim the life and love she's always deserved?
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Nina Marie and her writing and I loved that this was so different from her first book. The story grabbed you by the heart and made you feel the FMCs pain. It was soooooo good. soooo good!!! I also believe we all need a Wil in our life!!
The ONLY reason I gave a 4 star instead of a 5 star was personal preference. I am not a huge fan of 3rd person stories but this was the first 3rd person story I have finished ;)
I never thought i could read something so devastating, relatable and filled with hope and love. We all go through things in life differently and it's nice to see the rainbow on the other side. Thank you for writing this and reminding us we can choose to be resilient after trauma.
I was hooked from the first page! Nina Marie's descriptive writing style has a way of completely immersing me in the story. I felt like I was in Tish's shoes. I loved the dual timeline, which kept me hooked until the very end. The book read like a thriller, which kept me turning the pages eagerly. It was the perfect amount of substance and spice.
