This book was an amazing continuation and ending of this duology! I loved every bit of it. So many times I didn’t know where it was going and then something crazy would happen. A (beautiful) roller coaster!
Ever. My girl!! She went THROUGH it and came back out of it. I can’t imagine going through everything she had to and I pray she finds the healing and happiness she deserves.
Ten. The love I have for this man! He sacrificed again and again, he is absolutely book husband number one!! He never thought twice about protecting Ever and I love that about him, his love for her never wavered.
Thank you for this beautiful book, Natalie Alexandra!!!!! 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
“As long as you’re still there with me. I still vow by that, Ever.” I smile. “We’ll find our way, Little Siren. I promise.”
The Fight of Gods and Order is such a beautifully well written slow burn romantasy. The worldbuilding Natalie has created in A Touch of Stars and Stones becomes so much more in The Fight of Gods and Order! Full of new places on the map, new characters (including a certain someone who kidnapped Ever), more trials, magical abilities and secrets being drawn out.
The strength of love that Ten and Ever have is just beautiful and I think it has taken me a bit longer to read book 2 as I was so immersed and didnt want to leave my imagination and the World of Kirrasia; where power comes from the God of the Sun or their sibling the Goddess of the Moon.
I had tears in my eyes when I read the dedication which included the "STARS" Street team. I feel so so privileged to be a part of your journey and sharing the joy that is Ever and Ten!
“It was always my future, Ever. You are my fate, and I’m good with that.”
This book grabbed me immediately and said get ready, you’re suffering today. And so I did
This was action packed pain, betrayal, magic, emotional damage, more emotional damage, and somehow I still begged for more.
Ever went through ABSOLUTE hell this book and I swear every chapter had me wanting to fight someone on her behalf. My girl deserved a nap, a hug, and maybe several magical crimes committed in her honor.
And my darling Ten.That man is down so bad. The devotion. The determination. The I will burn the world for you energy... Your honor, I fear I’m obsessed.
I can’t say too much without spoilers but this finale DELIVERED. The tension? Sickening. The angst? Ruthless. The payoff? SO worth it.
Ten and Ever fought hard for that HEA and I was in the corner screaming, crying, cheering for them the entire time.
let’s just say this book took me on a roller coaster… at first I was sad with how everything seem to being going against Ever and her crew. She gets captured by a secret someone and was even tortured. As she was getting tortured she was learning the truth about who her parents were and who Lyles friend actually was to her. And let’s just say he was making me mad with being just as if not more secretive than the orders😩 but over all I did love how the story progressed and we got to see character growth in all the characters. I’m also happy that Ever and Ten where able to get SOME PEACE 😂
There are times when I sit down to write a review and worry that I won't be able to do the story justice. This is one of those times.
The Fight of Gods and Order is the second book in The Hart Duology and continues Ever and Aten's story from the incredible cliffhanger in A Touch of Stars and Stones. To say I've been desperate to continue this epic journey is an understatement. The past couple of weeks spent re-reading ATOSAS and diving into TFOGAO have been truly wonderful - I simply didn't want my time in this world to end.
ATOSAS was a top read for me, and I'm delighted to say that TFOGAO has earned that title too. I went in with very high expectations, and I'm thrilled that they were not only met but exceeded. It would be wrong to describe this duology as merely Ever's story - it is a journey. A journey of discovery, filled with hope and fear.
Ever is an incredible protagonist. I absolutely adore her strength, selflessness, loyalty, protectiveness, and fierce spirit. To be part of her inner circle would be an honour. She deserves to be loved and cherished, and I'm so grateful she found Ten to do exactly that. The raw, powerful connection between them has been incredible to witness. Watching them grow both individually - their personalities, strengths, and vulnerabilities - and together has been a true highlight. Ever could not have had a better person by her side.
The twists, the emotion, the breathtaking moments - this story delivers it all. It took me on an unforgettable emotional roller coaster that I wouldn't have missed for anything. I read to feel, and this duology delivers that in abundance. My heart has been broken and healed, and my mind has raced with possibilities. The anticipation throughout both books has been phenomenal. There are so many standout moments, each one keeping me hooked from start to finish and making the story impossible to put down.
Natalie Alexandra's descriptive writing brings the world vividly to life. I could picture every scene so clearly, and I would love to see this story adapted for the big screen. Not only would it introduce this epic tale to non-readers, but the visual effects would be truly spectacular.
I cannot not mention the supporting cast, who add real depth to the world Ms. Alexandra has created. Each character brings something unique and contributes meaningfully to the storyline. Saying goodbye to these characters is incredibly difficult, but I'm comforted knowing that I can always return to them through re-reads.
There is nothing I didn't love about this enchanting, captivating, and deeply emotional journey. I highly recommend this duology to you to read.
The Fight of Gods and Order by Natalie Alexandra 5⭐️ 1🌶️
Finding the right words to do this book justice has been hard. I’m a huge fan of Natalie’s writing and I was so excited to dive back into the world of Kirrasia again. Natalie absolutely blew it out of the park with this one. Such an epic conclusion to her romantasy duology. 🙌🏼
TFOGAO starts off immediately where A Touch of Stars and Stones ended — we took no time off in between. Natalie hits us hard, has our adrenaline pumping the entire time and it’s nearly impossible to put the book down to adult because you don’t want to miss out on anything! I was feeling all the feels with this book. There were parts I cried at, parts I laughed at, parts I wanted to throw my kindle!! And I loved every single minute of it! This story is so romantically captivating and heart wrenching at the same time. I did not want it to end. 😭😭😭
Natalie nonchalantly recapped past events through casual dialogue between characters, which I loved! It wasn’t obvious at all and it flowed with the storyline without feeling forced. I needed the subtle reminders!
Each character has such a unique arc and no two are the same. There is no “dull” character or anyone who feels replaceable. Natalie does such an incredible job giving every character a voice and I loved experiencing each of their growths!
Aten Ciro. This man. His patience, loyalty, trust, devotion, determination, sacrifices — if all men loved like Aten, the world would be a much better place 😍 I swoon at his every word. I’m a puddle for him. 🫠
Ever Hart is one hell of a FMC. She’s been lied to her entire life; betrayed by those she thought she could trust; beaten, bruised, and broken; and still chooses to not give in to the darkness. Her strength and determination is admirable.
Calix and Kyra — my two favorite side characters, each with stories of their own. Don’t mind me over here begging and pleading for their turn next! 🙏🏼🥺
I could gush about this duology and about this author for hours. Not only is she a fabulous writer but she is also one of the sweetest and kindest people I know. Being able to connect with a book is one thing, but also being able to connect with the author is the cherry on top!
Check out The Hart Duology, starting with book one A Touch of Stars and Stones. Then, find out all of the answers in book two, The Fight of Gods and Order.
The Fight of Gods and Order is the epic conclusion to the stunning debut duology by Natalie Alexandra and dear reader this book does not disappoint. It’s an unputdownable and at times breathless read that you will be thinking about long after you read the last words. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. It’s that good.
Before I go on, yes, you must read A Touch Of Stars and Stones first. It sets up all the events that happen in this book and it’s well worth your time to do so.
Now to talk about Fight, this story was everything I wanted without a doubt. All loose threads were tightly woven back into the story, the world of magic created in Stars expanded even more, the main characters Ever and Aten blew me away and the beautiful love story was only strengthened by everything that happens along the way and ends so wonderfully I still smile when I think about it.
So much happens in this book, that it’s safe to call it epic. Every page will have you reading faster and faster as you delve into magic, family, betrayal and secrets that you absolutely will not see coming and that will leave you gasping and holding your breath.
That’s not including everything the main protagonists Ever and Ten go through. These two, what they endure is heartbreaking at times and so sweet at others that you will want to wrap them up and tell them it’s going to be okay. Reading Ever find her true self and how Ten is her greatest ally is so well written it makes you forget these are fictional characters set in a purely fictional world.
This duology absolutely blew me away with how it was written, the worlds that were created and characters you wont forget. I am desperate for more from this author as she has a way of writing that sucks you into a fictional world completely and has you going through all the feels as the story unfolds. Natalie Alexandra is a star on the rise in the romantasy genre.
I could not put the book away. I wanted to know the answers. What happens to Ever and her friends. Will her visions come true? Does.she become, what they are so afraid of? Finally we get the answers. We are looking for Little, by little it will al be revealed. There is pain and loss. Standing up for yourself and what you believe in. Ever finds a bloodrelative. The person is not who she thinks he will be. Instead of understanding how she feels. He hurts her more then she ever could think of. Because he thinks, that's what she needs to grow. Putting her friends against her. Not of there on free will. You see Ever grow as a person. Coming at peace with her powers. Fithing for what see believes in. That comes with a great cost. Not only for her. I could not put the book away. I wanted to know the answers. What happens to Ever and her friends. Will her visions come true? Does.she become, what they are so afraid of?

TFOGAO is the second in the Hart duology and after the killer cliff hanger in book one I was desperate to get my hands on this!
It’s continues where it ended and brings us into a whole new captivating part of this world with amazing descriptions, new characters and a new god. This series has the most torturous of slow burns and bittersweet when it finally happens!
There is so much depth in this plot with so many deceptions in the background your pulled in instantly. The magic system continues to be completely unique and how it works but also how it corrupts. There were a few darker themes but nothing too damaging but enough for it to have detrimental effects on our MCs. Ever as a protagonist grows in this one and as she unravels more secrets and lies she finds her strength and shows more of her selflessness and heart. Ten before more endearing with the lengths and sacrifices he is willing to make for Ever.
The plot of lies, betrayal and sacrifice made for a gripping and intense read and a couple that overcome so many hurdles for their HEA. A great read.
I was eagerly awaiting this one and Natalie did not disappoint me! I was hooked from beginning to end. If I thought the first book was phenomenal I was wrong this one.........WOW! I was hooked from beginning to end, drawn into all the characters I fell in love with in book one and became addicted to the new ones we met in this one too! Some secrets are revealed and the twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat!
Ever and Ten! talk about swoon!! Their connection was instant and undeniable and there is nothing they would not do for each other! It was raw, it was real and it packed a huge punch! They were strong separately but together, unstoppable.
"It was always my future, Ever. You are my fate, and I'm good with that."
Natalie has done a phenomenal job with this duology! It has been a pleasure being part of her STARS team and experiencing this with her. I cannot wait to see what she brings us next!
I was gifted a copy of this book by the Author and this is my honest opinion
They fear her magic. Her brother wants to control it. She just wants to go home. This is The Fight of Gods and Order.
Carrying on from A Touch of Stars and Stones, Ever is stolen away from her home by her newly announced twin brother. Now he wants to train her to use her power - but using the magic of the sun, not the moon.
An ages old war between the Gods is shaping the events of the world. Caught up in this battle, Ever has access to more power than anyone has ever held before. Will she be able to harness it to save her home and the people she loves?
The second book of this duet was a great read. There’s lots of discussion over power and who holds it, and past events turn out to be more important than many realise. I enjoyed the conclusion of the story and seeing Ever and Ten get their HEA.
This story begins with established romance, but the romance part of the relationship takes a bit of a backseat while they save the world. There’s plenty of relationship development, and a good amount of open door spice. The book deals with being forced to fight and hurt someone you love against your will.
This completed duet is a really great fantasy read and I definitely recommend it.
Where do I begin?! I absolutely loved the duology and book 2 came and sealed it with a kiss! 😚
Book 2 was fast paced, emotional - hitting deep feelings of anguish, frustration, depression, and grief! It was action packed and never slowed down!
Ever Hart is so strong and stubborn! She lives by her heart along with her emotions and can’t figure out if they will help her or hurt her in this journey as she overcomes lies, deceit, and so much more.
Aten Ciro is the absolute definition of devotion. He’ll follow Ever to hell and back as long as they are together. He’ll sacrifice everything to be with her. We all need a man like Ten!
This duology was beautifully written! Book 2 took this story to its peak and then wrapped things up in a beautiful conclusion leaving you so satisfied and completely emotional. I cried like 7 times.
Natalie’s writing is immersive without being too fluffy! Words and lines flow. You’re lost in a different world with an incredible magic system and it works perfectly. I’m still not over it!
My honest review of an advanced copy from the author
The Fight of Gods and Order is book 2 in the Hart Duology! The first book A Touch of Stars was one of my favourite books and this one sits right up there with it! These books follow Ever and Aten and their journey. They are written to deliver the emotional impact and horrendously satisfying cliffhangers! (If you can have book 2 at the ready you’re gonna want it!!)
I loved how much detail went into this world I felt so immersed in it. The plot really sucks you in and keep reading it’s so hard to put down you just want to know what’s going to happen next! There are a few darker themes for those who are not used to this but nothing major. I loved how the magic worked and what’s at stake should they not succeed!
This is definitely a duology you should add to your tbr
I loved book one and I loved book two even more because Ever truly comes into her own. Not that she was ever a "damsel in distress". No, our Little Siren could never!!! But an FMC embracing themselves and their power, might be one of my favourite things about fantasy.
The revelations that result from ATOSAS's cliffhanger are just... mwahh *chef's kiss*
And Aten 🖤 he is such a refreshing green flag of an MMC. He truly loves Ever and proves it - time and time again without being a toxic alphahole.
The found family aspect of this story continues to be perfect as Calix, Crimson and Kyra show up regardless of cost or risk.
One warning: tissues may be required at the 50% mark.
The take home? It is the perfect conclusion to this duology. It has tension, action, revelations, a little spice, devastation and a hard won, slightly bitter sweet HEA.
The Fight of Gods and Order by @nataliealexandra_author
Thanks you, always for the arc, for an honest review.
Aten and Ever are so precious to me and I'm so grateful, I got to be a part of yours and their journey and what a time it is.
Ever Hart is fierce, that is the only word I got for her, fierce in her life with love, friendship, family, honesty, loyalty. She stands for what she believes in with so much heart and wanting balance and peace.
And Ten is everything you want that over protective but loving meaning giving her choices, even when you don't agree with them at all. He would literally go to the ends of the world if it meant she was safe. That love is simply brilliant.
Just be there for each other with that content and peace. He's that harbour in the darkness that grounds Ever.
I love Ever and Lyle ( sorry if I got her name wrong tired ) just that relationship of guardian (mother) and daughter. Protector
That was brutally stunning and intensely heart wrenching. I loved everything, my heart skipped a beat, a cried ugly tears, half the time I felt like an empty void, just think how, why... My heart was scrambled in the whole world of fighting to survive the great unjust and having that love from the most innocent holding everything together.
I can't believe we have come to the end of Aten and Ever's story. The ending was everything for me. Everyone got what they wanted in the end, but OMG, how we got there was WILD!
From unknown magic to finding the love of their lives, not being able to touch — every detail in this duology just fit together perfectly. It was worth every day that we had to wait for it.
My emotions were all over the place with where Ever and Ten ended up, that when I read Natalie's acknowledgements and saw she thanked us, her STARS, the street team, I bawled my eyes out even more!
Thank you for the privilege of being able to read for you, hopefully for many years to come.
I'm not ready to say goodbye to these books and characters 😭
The Fight of Gods and Order releases tomorrow, May 11th.
This book was so beautifully written and a wonderful continuation to A Touch of Stars and Stone. This book is a slow burn romantasy that continues Ever and Ten's story. It is as good as book one. Ever is absolutely resilient and fiercely protective of those that she cares for. She will always do what is right and does not give in and take the easy road. Ten is the perfect companion. He loves Ever fiercely and is very protective of her but also realizes that she must make her own choices and fight her own battles. He is there to support her in any and all of her choices. This duology was a wonderful conclusion that wrapped up their story beautifully.
This was a brilliant conclusion to the Hart duology. It was a long read but a good one! So much drama, tension, excitement, trauma, suspense and even spice and love! Even when I thought it was going to end a certain way it managed to surprise me!
Favourite quotes include: I hate the idea of fate or destiny. Surely our actions and decisions have a bigger part to play than what Aslendrix or Novandia intend for us?
I love her with everything I have, and she will be the one to bring me back to life, to banish the pain.
Loved this book and this duo. Very well paced and extremely well developed.
Ever and Ten must do what they can to save Kirrasia and the rest of the world. But her power has gone all silent and strange on her and she doesn’t really want to fight. He just wants her to be safe and to avenge those they have already lost. Will they with their friends help be able to stop the evil from ruling over everything? What will it cost them? Can she kill her own brother? Her twin?
