Title: My Wife and I Walking Together
Review:
When my wife and I go for a walk (2 or 3 times a week) she always tells me, “You’re walking too fast, slow down.” She’s right and after reading, “THE SIMPLE JAPANESE WALKING METHOD” I discovered a better way of walking- walk quickly for three minutes, then slowly for three minutes with four additional cycles, then repeat. But just walking is not enough. The author points out that a degree of intentionality is needed. Just as life works with “Fast and Slow” cycles, you need a changing walking pace from “brisk walking to slower recovery-paced walking.” Walking is meditation in motion with a mindset of proper breathing, stressless thinking, and an attitude of gratitude that revives your body by walking.
I highly recommend this book to anyone of any age- old, young, and in between because you will find many quiet, life surviving, life promoting gems from this book, "THE SIMPLE JAPANESE WALKING METHOD." Also, you and your wife (or husband or partner) will feel closer by sharing your walk-time together.
