Distracting and disjointed

There were many times that scenes jumped and stuff was left out and left you confused as to what was happening.

It felt like half of the story was missing. Yes, it started in the middle, but lots of books do that and then go back or somehow fill you in. This one never did. But that’s not what I mean. It felt like the author wrote the story and then needed to shorten it. So she took out scenes. But she never went back and filled in the story gap caused by those missing scenes. People are separated, and then suddenly they are together. One character has equipment and knowledge, and then a different character has that equipment and knowledge, with no accounting for them ever running across each other. It was a continuity editing train wreck.

"Triple SEALS" by author Sasha Moon is a romantic suspense reverse harem novel. It's heavy on the suspense element focusing around three Navy SEALS Dean, Trace, and Grant and Eden, a brilliant Intelligence and Tactical Systems Specialist they are assigned to. Dean is the SEAL Commander: by the book; serious; never shows his emotions. Grant is the team medic: Quiet; notices everything, steady as a rock. Trace is the team sniper: The jokester; an incredible artist; haunted by his memories of past missions. Lastly there's Eden,  team cryptologist and drone pilot: precise; controlled; locked down and seldom shows her true emotions or self to the others. Together they hunt out bad guys and learn what it feels like first hand to be the hunted. Deception is all around them but who is giving the orders?

This book was really intriguing to me. I loved this book. I struggled to figure out the where the plot was headed beforehand which I'm usually able to do. The fact that I was kept guessing really made this book something special. But the fact that by the end of the book I still didn't know any more about each character than I knew at the very beginning of the story, and yet I still absolutely loved this book, is entirely new to me. I typically want to know everything about a character- where they came from, why they ended up in the military, a little bit about their family life growing up, etc. The readers learned absolutely none of this in this story and yet I was totally engrossed and caught up in the plot.  The way the author described each scene and the way the characters spoke to one another gave me the illusion of getting to know each character in finer detail. Raw emotions of the main characters pulsed off the pages. It was brilliant.

I love a good reverse harem book but this was definitely a very minimum element in the story. I appreciated that the author kept their growing attraction to one another as a minimal substory instead of making it the main story. It easily flowed into the suspenseful plot the way it was presented. Anything more up front would have felt off.

Overall, this was a powerful story. I hope this author writes additional stories similar in feel to this one. If so, I will be purchasing each and every book. A true 5 star read!

Eden, Dean, Trace, Grant

The story at potential to be great, but major things were not developed well. Where was the relationship building? She’s there to investigate them, doesn’t have any real conversation with them, start sleeping with them, but doesn’t discuss any part of the relationship with any of them. She sleeps with each of them separately and that’s never addressed with the others. And then she just knows that they’re innocent before she even finds proof of who is guilty. She seemed like a strong FMC at the beginning, but then just goes on to get physical with each of them and then was always scared. Through the whole story nothing is learned about anyone’s background. There’s a lot of focus on the missions and the deception going on, but to me a lot of that was very hard to follow and things didn’t always make sense. A lot of the story was based on their missions to great detail, but then it seemed to wrap up very quickly without any detail. And then she gets thanked in a ceremony, but why not the rest of the team? Dean leaves for a while without even an explanation to anyone. And then there’s a time jump of a couple of months while he’s apart from the other three but no story over the other three during that three months. And there are parts of the story that just did not flow well. One moment they’re in the tiny sub under the water and then they’re getting out and then all of a sudden they’re at different places and she gets caught by the bad guy. It was very difficult to feel invested in them as a group because there’s absolutely no relationship building and then they’re talking about how they love each other. There were no connections made. I’m honestly surprised that I finish it because it was very difficult to be invested in the story. It was my first read of this author and I might read another but not at this time.

Giving it two stars only because it really had potential. The plot itself was great. You have the FMC as an intelligence officer sent in to investigate a SEAL team who are suspected of leaking classified information.

My main issue was the writing style. It was so over the top, dramatic, purple prose in every. single. chapter. I get having high stakes drama during missions, but this book made it seem like even every little conversation and interaction on base were life-threatening and bomb-diffusing.

And every description had to have 3 or more examples. I.E "Silence settled. Heavy. Final. Electric" or "Something..clicked into place. The chaos, the noise, the uncertainty... There was only breath. Distance. Wind Direction. Lines. Angles. Math" (all 1 paragraph). I don't mind this writing style if it is used sporadically to really emphasize important details, but this book had it in at least every other chapter, if not close to every chapter. It honestly made me question if this was written by a real person, because it was so over the top dramatic.

The other thing that took me out of the book was the logistics. The chapters/scenes jumped around so much, it was hard to tell what was going on. First they are in Guam, they use a submarine to get to the Luzon Strait, then they are in Pearl Harbor? Not even touching on how they all split up at some point (presumably in Guam?) while being hunted, and still managed to all either find each other or make it to the Strait without comms? And they manage to clear their names without any investigation, and Eden gets a ceremony immediately(and without recognizing the guys?). That entire last third of the book felt like half the story was missing, or the reader was supposed to assume so much.

This story held all kinds of goodness. The characters themselves - the SEALS Team - Dean, Grant and Trace. Dean is the Team Commander, Grant is the Team Medic and Trace technically his Team Sniper but also plays the comic relief of Team Jokester. Then of course, we have the new addition, Eden. She is the Team Cryptologist and Drone Pilot. However, she is alo there to watch the guys and figure out the leak - someone is selling military secrets. This story has a lot of moving parts as the team moves through missions that become increasingly more like narrow escapes, Eden's bond with each of them grows closer, the pressure from above to find the leak increases and of course, the professional and personal lines get crossed. The steaminess is there but is not the focus of the story. Enjoy!.

Sexy and action packed

Triple SEALs is a sexy and burning hot RH story. If you want a hot Navy SEAL's and deliciously entertaining read then this book brings it and more. The story is about Eden Lark, a woman who is sent to investigate a SEAL team which is made up of Dean, Grant, and Trent. She pretends to be the new drone pilot and cryptologist. The men are all smart, sexy and have a bond together that will never be broken. Eden will earn her place and respect, along with their protection and love. Along the way the relationship changes and that is even before the real danger starts to hunt them. The only way out so they can survive is to close ranks and cover each other's backs.
This story is not only sexy and hot as hell but also heart pounding, emotional, suspenseful and filled with action of all kinds.

What an absolutely fantastic story. Eden Lark has been assigned to a team in Guam to find out who is leaking/selling information to their enemies. When she meets Dean, Grant and Trace, she is told that the leading officer, Dean is suspected. Eden goes on assignment with them and discovers that their missions are sabotaged.

What follows is a story that is full action and danger, and all four characters draw closer to each other and have to rely on the skills of those around them. When they discover their leaders and handlers are responsible for the danger, they’re in, they are all in to bring them down. There is a happy ending for all four characters.

There is a potentially great story here, but in my humble opinion the writer is asking the reader to assume to much. One minute Eden Lark is a Lieutenant and the next she's a Petty Officer. She can't be a commissioned officer and then a Petty Officer! I can't explain specifics without spoilers, but things happen without explanation, and others are left hanging. Maybe I expect to much coming from a Military family, but I don't think so. The characters are awesome, I think the plot wasn't hashed out enough.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. It is an intense rapid paced story where betrayal ran deep. Eden was sent to find the one who was selling secrets and was assigned to work with Dean, Trace and Grant. Along the way a relationship is started and becomes love. I like how they worked together to expose all the culprits despite having death sentences over them. They clear their names. I'm glad Dean didn't let her get away. I liked the life they built together.

I really enjoyed this story. The characters were really well developed, the emotion between them all and with the situation was perfect. Eden confused me a little bit, she was so strait laced, so analytical, to “connect” with the guys the way she did seemed very out of character.
I loved how each of the guys brought something differently that fit perfectly.
The tension and suspense flowed really well and kept me fully engaged.
A good why choose I would have liked to have more of.

Triple Seals is a reverse harem, action-packed novel. I found it a bit repetitive, and about halfway through, I was skimming the pages just to finish. The chemistry between the characters felt lacking, and some details didn’t add much to the plot. What I did enjoy, though, was the loyalty between the characters and to their country, the strong heroine, the protective alpha males, the thrilling action and the satisfying HEA. 2 ½ stars

Awesome read!

Storyline caught my attention from the start. Espionage, sexy seals, female Intelligence and Tactical Support Specialist!

The characters fit into the story well. Smart good looking woman and three seals, lets face it a lot of men don't belong in the field. First she has to prove she knows what she's doing and can keep up. Then that she is supposed to be investigating the team.

★“Suspicion twisted with attraction inside my chest. A dangerous mix.”★

The military jargon and the group’s dynamics felt authentically portrayed; my heart was in my throat during their missions. Eden had to forge her own path, until the three Alpha SEALs realized just where the crosshairs landed before they steadfastly had each other’s backs. Thrilling suspense, trust earned, justice served! Loved this story!

Red Herrings and Explosions
Eden joins the SEAL team to prevent the leak of naval intel, but she, along with her team of Dean, Grant and Trace, uncover a plot that involved the highest levels of naval command. This story is entertaining and moves at a quick pace, though continuity wasn’t always consistent at times. I enjoyed Eden’s grit, and Dean, Grant and Trace were all unique characters. A solid read.

Worth reading

If you take reality out of it, it’s a good story. I liked Eden Lark right away and each of the men, Dean, Trace, and Grant as they were introduced. It was a little frustrating for Eden to have a Lieutenant (Officer) title throughout the book only to have her demoted to Petty Officer (Enlisted) by the author because she forgot Eden’s rank towards the end of the book. I just shook my head and kept reading.

This was a pretty good book. When Eden first went in, I was confused on how the reverse harem was going to come about. Dean was the one I worried about the most. He was so stoic and unreadable that I wasn't sure how Eden would get through to him. I was glued to the book once they started doing their missions. Especially the one with Jennings.

Triple SEALs

Cassie literally blew this one out of the water. I love a good military reverse harem. Something about all the action and suspense gets me. Eden was such a realistic bad b-word and her guys were the perfect balance of stability, humor and caring. I also learned a lot without it being a Wikipedia page or google article. Definitely putting this on my reread list

Good story. However, at some points there were logic jumps that just didn't logic. Descriptions, that didn't match where they were supposed to be. I mean, Guam and the Luzon Strait are something like 1200 miles apart. And they allegedly got there in an emergency extraction mini sub? Also, they're on a platform...but there's a ridgeline? It was distracting.

What a Mission

Not your typical we share troupe. Dean, Trace, and Grant are the best of the best, and under suspicion. Eden is sent to find the leak. They work as a team in distress, relying on each other’s skills. Not driven on spice, there’s are plot holes that require leap of faith, but it holds it’s own

DNF 23% nah, honestly strong start to the story first 15% great, but didn’t hold up writing getting worse as it goes and than 20% in the FMC slept with 2 of they guys one day apart (if even that) while knowing them for maybe 3 days (but who knows again writing pretty choppy) and maybe talk for 10 mins 🙄 pretty ridiculous.

This one really hit the nose on the head. It was really a very good book. Lately I've been noticing that the editors are not doing their jobs. I don't mind doing the corrections in my head but sometimes it would be great not having to do that.
