I loved this book so much, from start to end. Gio and Rava are literally meant for each other and the way their relationship turns from hate to love, just perfect🙂↕️ 5/5⭐

This was a Wattpad story, that was published and oh my god it was one of the best mm romances that I’ve read, no kidding. Gio is the bad boy with black hair, tattoos and so on yk, just the bad boy vibe, but inside he is such a sweetheart. Rava (Raviolli) is the golden boy with nerdy glasses, who likes to read, draw and do “nerdy” things, but Gio finds out he is not so nerdy and not the shy kid, that he made fun of in middle school. Excited for second part!

You know when you read something, and you can immediately tell it started as a Wattpad book. And I don’t mean that as a complaint, because honestly, this book got me out of a reading slump I was in. I read the full version on Wattpad, and from what I know, the physical edition is split into two parts.
I actually really enjoyed reading this story, which is rare for me when it comes to something that originated on Wattpad. It even surprised me that it didn’t give me any cringe at all; instead, I found it really cute and easy to read. That said, some chapters felt a bit too long for my taste and sometimes slowed the pacing a little.
Still, Rava and Gio were great characters to follow throughout the story and definitely made the reading experience worth it. Overall, it was an enjoyable read that came at the perfect time to pull me out of a reading slump.

(3.5) this is the first time i read a book coming from wattpad. i saw it on tiktok and the prompt seemed interesting enough for me to give it a chance. i will say it was okay and i enjoyed most of it, but there was some parts that i didn’t like. the slow burn felt too much and some of the internal dialogues were too long it got to a point i forgot what was happening. i am still going to read the rest of the books though because i want to know how this ends.

i keep reading the typical bad boy x golden boy trope and i'm sorry but it doesn't get boring. enjoyed this one so much and i adore both of the characters they were rlly cute together.

¿Sabes esos libros de wattpad que eran tan adictivos que te quedabas leyéndolos hasta altas horas de la noche en verano porque no podías parar? Pues así se ha sentido esta historia, y me ha gustado mucho!! Me lo he leído en 1 DÍA
He amado a Gio y Rava, me han parecido personajes muy bien construidos y muy versátiles, y la evolución en su relación ha sido increíble. El humor de la autora me ha flipado, es que me he reído en alto muchas veces, y mira que es difícil que me pase eso con los libros. Pero es que las referencias y las expresiones que utilizan los personajes son buenísimas JAJAJAJAJAJ
A partir de la mitad del libro la historia se me ha quedado un poco más plana que la primera mitad, y por eso no ha llegado a ser 5 estrellas. Toda esa tensión y ese banter que había entre ellos antes siento que se desvanece ligeramente, y no le vi mucho sentido. Y la falta de comunicación me pone muy nerviosa.
Eso sí, todo el viaje a España y lo que eso conlleva lo AMÉ, como empezaron a surgir los sentimientos entre ellos y la tensión que había en el ambiente, me puse hasta nerviosa. La manera en la que se comportan el uno con el otro hacia el final del libro fue demasiado cute, los amo 😭😭😭 Pero una cosa que me chocó fue el hecho de que se supone que Rava nunca había hecho nada con un hombre, y después lo hace con Gio por primera vez sin ningún tipo de duda y perfectamente a la primera?? Creo que eso fue un poquito irreal, en mi opinión!!
En general, me lo he pasado genial leyendo esta historia, ya adoro a Gio y Rava (y a Lorenzo) y estoy deseando leer los demás libros!! Aunque me voy a esperar a que salga el tercero para continuar 🙃🙃🙃

I believe this was a wattpad story that was later self-pubbed. So please keep that in mind when going into this book if you're just finding it like I am. I saw posts from the author on tiktok and I was like meh sounds like something I would be reading, why not. So, I bought a physical copy (though its literally still on wattpad) because 1. I don't enjoy the reading experience on wattpad, 2. physical books are just better lol, and 3. I like to support indie authors.
Anyways, honestly, it was a good time, $20 well spent. The writing style is definitely unique, you can tell this is a stylistic choice though. The book is largely narrated through the characters' thoughts and not really much with setting, descriptors or even action (not compared to inner dialogue). So if this is something you don't like well...yeah. But I rather enjoyed it; it was very refreshing and fun to read. Especially because the characters are so entertaining, its clear that's what drives this story. If you love this couple, you're highly likely to love the story because its driven by them. And I liked them a lot.

the author has outshone the book with its humor and writing which catches your eye, attention and tbr.
Believe me when i say this book gripped me like no other. Every character had a different vibe and humor and it totally outnumbered the book.
The book was based on daily life and nothing special BUT that was the best quality of Ride or Die and

gio is a bad boy with a motorcycle and rava is a little nerd who wants to be a teacher. rava had to move back to italy for the summer with his family and gio who happens to be his childhood bully is living rught next door to him. gios mom says he should hang out with him so they do and then ravas gf tries to cheat on him with gio so they break up and rava makes her jelous by making out with gio at her party. and that “fake” kiss was actually quite real so they kept doing it and ofc fall in love but ravas dad HATES gio like really bad and yeah thats about it. also i love lorenzo and daisy and noah. A+ characters

Read this in one sitting,I found everything I was looking for in this(Giovanni and Rava were everything). I loved this book more than I thought I would, got a recommendation of this from TikTok and it ignited my interest so I gave it a shot and didn't regret reading it cause I wasn't bored and knowing myself I get bored easily. And what amazed me is that it's a Wattpad novel ,I really went for it as a way of having something to read as I search for another read but this didn't come out bad at all I really can't wait for the second book. And I know people feel like Wattpad novels are not mature or something but this wasn't cringe or anything bad to be considered immature.

read the whole thing on wattpad. there is somewhere online to read it, but it was easier for me this way. comments make absolutely everything better. there are a couple of scenes on the e-book version that are not on wattpad. character development is written 10/10. there are more one-shot stories that are on wattpad. the author is totally talented, they draw some things along with the book so check out their instagram! i couldn't put the book down. the characters are GREAT and raw written which adds to the fact that you understand the characters more.

I really like Rava and Gio the dynamic and characters I love especially Theo. There is a couple things that feel off to me and I say this with complete love and I can’t wait to see what happens next. This book didn’t really have that much of a peak in the story, the ending felt more like the middle of the story this made the story feel a little flat near the end when I was waiting for the conflict to something big that never really came? Although I say that I can’t wait to read the next book and see what happens next!

I mean....I tried..I really tried to like it and not judge the fact that its originally from wattpad...but ☠️
it horrendously screams 2016 wattpad fanfics..
the language used ..was not it 😭 I really tried not cringe but failed miserably
the dialogues were TOO LONG and the burn TOO SLOW I had to skip to 73% where actually something happened.

i read the wattpad version! got progressively way better as i kept reading. gios character development was so great and the way this author words/phrases some things were truly beautiful. then again the language and slang def were a lil much for me (but i also am not hip nor cool) so that wore me down a little throughout the store but still!! what a sweet love !! rava💗gio foreverrrrr

Gracias a esta historia pude volver a leer en Wattpad, además de que me está ayudando con la lectura en inglés, así que es un ganar-ganar. Me gusta mucho cómo va la historia y, a pesar de que amo el hurt/comfort, no creo poder soportar la mala comunicación y los malentendidos, solo quiero que ya sean felices. So, I read this book, and I ended up finishing the story on Wattpad. Loved everything about this entire story. The writing style, the entertainment, the comedy, the pinning, all of it was *chef's kiss*. I loved Rava and Gio and cannot wait to learn more about their story. The book was long but it didn't feel that way, especially since this is part 1. Very low spice, but there is a lot of tension between the MC',s and you can already see where it's going.

DNF. Not my fav, felt the author couldn’t stick to a plot or characteristics of the characters. Felt like it was written by a 12 year old especially in the fake dating scene.
