People always tell you to be yourself, but that’s a luxury I can’t afford. Not when my desires feel wrong. Not when they’re something to be hidden and tamed, and definitely not acted upon.
When my boyfriend breaks up with me, it feels like a confirmation of everything I’ve feared. It also leaves me scrambling for a new start—and a new roommate.
Moving in with Tyler seems like the perfect solution, but it’s not. Not when living together has started to awaken needs that I’ve spent years supressing. Which is a problem, because nothing good can ever come of falling for a straight man.
Or can it?
It turns out I’m not the only one with hang ups and suppressed needs. Tyler's shame mirrors my own in a way that makes me feel seen. Understood. Wanted. Wanted by him.
I know this can’t last, but for now I’m his to take.
Tyler
I have long since given up on having a real relationship. I’ve tried, but what I have to offer is not enough. Or rather, it’s too much. Why would anyone sign up for that?
I thought I was doing just fine—finding temporary comfort and release in people I knew would never stay. It’s easier that way. Safer.
Then Jamie moves in with me and redefines everything.
Bit by bit, the protectiveness I feel towards him starts to shift into something sharper, more solid. And before I know it, I’m thinking of him as mine.
Would he stay if he knew about the parts of me I feel so ashamed of? Or would he grow tired of me like everyone else?
I don’t know how long what we have will last, but for now he’s mine to take.
I really wanted to love this one, and for the first half, I was enjoying it. At about the 50% mark, everything felt mostly resolved. After that, the plot dragged with drawn out, mundane scenes to me.
But my bigger issue was regarding how these characters were framed. I found Jamie's character slightly infantilizing, which was off putting but something I tried to overlook. What I couldn't get past was the scene where Jamie gets turned on while Tyler describes raping his ex girlfriend.
I read dark romance. I'm not new to noncon or dubcon themes, and I've enjoyed books where characters work through trauma together or where the MMC is clearly morally gray. But this wasn't that. Tyler is portrayed as a decent person, and the rape of another woman is glossed over like it's just a minor speed bump. The vibe was “I'm sorry you did that to her, now take care of this boner.”
If this had been handled with care, or if Tyler was framed in a different manner maybe it would have worked. But treating sexual assault as an awkward obstacle while they move on like nothing happened wasn’t really for me in this setting.
I actually enjoyed almost everything about this book as far as I read, but other than not enjoying the way the queer awakening progresses (my personal preference as someone who doesn't particularly enjoy that kind of plot anyway, so I'm not going to talk about it here), I had one fundamental issue that made me DNF.
The "shame" that the MCs share is essentially being hypersexual. Add on to that Jamie being vocal in bed and enjoying cock warming. I feel like these things are all very normal and acceptable things but throughout they are treated as "disgusting" and "awful" and a whole lot of other words by the MCs and by Jamie's ex. At no point is the narrative challenged. My feeling is that these kinds of words need to be used extremely carefully in queer books especially when talking about queer sex and relationships. The whole thing comes off as too sex negative to me in a way that I just couldn't continue seeing unchallenged, so I had to DNF once I realised the second MC wasn't going to reassure the first MC that his desires were normal.
Jamie gets dumped by his boyfriend and is given two weeks to get out of their apartment. He never saw it coming, although looking back there were plenty of signs he chose to ignore because he wanted so badly to be loved. My heart broke for him from the very first chapter.
He works as a receptionist at a chiropractor’s office, where Tyler a ridiculously hot, very straight (or he thinks) Gymbro/himbo has been giving him butterflies with nothing more than a smile.
So imagine Jamie’s panic when he shows up to view a room for rent and Tyler opens the door.
Jamie knows developing a crush on his new roommate is a terrible idea. A truly awful, doomed, no-good idea. Naturally, he does it anyway 🤷♀️😂
I absolutely adored Jamie. He has never really known what it’s like to be loved freely. His ex spent years making him feel ashamed of the things he loved, wanted, and enjoyed even his beloved gay romance books. Watching him slowly realize he deserved so much more than crumbs of affection was heartbreaking.
And Tyler? Protective, caring, and completely gone for his “little bunny” long before he realizes what’s happening. His awakening was equal parts sweet, hilarious, and slightly chaotic the way all the best himbo awakenings should be.
The audiobook scenes had me laughing out loud. What exactly did Tyler expect from a spicy audiobook? Sweet summer child behavior at its finest. 😂. Tyler deciding that listening to spicy audiobooks at the gym was a completely normal, and not-at-all disastrous idea… truly terrible judgment, but extremely entertaining. 😂😂😂
This book confirmed that I will happily read every roommates-to-lovers, Gymbro awakening romance put in front of me. Apparently, a giant man discovering he’s head-over-heels for his adorable little roommate is my kryptonite 🙈😂
Tropes I loved: 🐰 Roommates to lovers 💪 Himbo/gymbro awakening 🐰 Protective hero 💪 Forced proximity 🐰 Sweet but pining MC 💪 “Oh no, my roommate is hot
I really enjoyed this book. It was sweet and spicy. A needy bottom paired with a greedy top, what more could you ask for? Tyler and Jamie were adorable together and perfectly matched in their needs and desires. Their friendship/relationship development was written well and didn't feel rushed or unbelievable. There was so much to love about this story. I loved the cute pet name Tyler gave Jamie, and Jamie's whole character was incredibly lovable. He was so insecure about himself, and there were so many times I just wanted to give him a hug. The side characters all had such different personalities, and I loved every one of them. I really hope we get more stories about the side characters from the author. Jamie just wants someone who will love and accept him for everything he is and everything he wants. I think anyone who has ever felt like they were "too much" for people will see themselves in Jamie.
Well where to start Jamie is a sweetheart and sexy from first chapter but his boyfriend or as we meet Jamie ex boyfriend is just a horrible guy who did not treat Jamie right at all.Jamie is sweet shy kind loving and has no confidence or self esteem after bad experience with ex and Tyler who is a client at the company where Jamie works as a receptionist while training to be a masseuse is a very nice kind and friendly guy who seems like the kind of guy who is perfect for Jamie.anyhow no more spoilers it’s a beautifully written story with a few ups and downs but an extremely satisfying ending and I will be keeping my eyes open for anymore books by this author in the future thank you for picking me to be one of your arc readers and the bonus chapter well nothing else to say but it was hot and sexy

ARC received but Honest Review. This book was a great comfort read for me with the friends to lovers trope. It also had drama and lots of spice! I really enjoyed Jamie and Tyler’s story! 🐰
Tropes/kinks •Roommates to lovers •Size Difference •Sexual Awakening •Pining •"Who did this to you?" •Dirty Talk •Praise Kink •Insatiable Bottom •Cockwarming •Cum Play •Somnophilia
The spice entered the chat IMMEDIATELY and I was locked in... then I was hit with anger on Jamie's behalf 😩 his "ex" leaves the apartment with zero notice and Jamie is left scrambling to find a new place to love. Enter Tyler... gymbro, client and Jamie's crush. By some happy accident Tyler has an ad for a roommate and of course it's exactly what Jamie is looking for. Off we go...
The instant chemistry of Jamie and Tyler had me kicking my feet. Their innocent flirting in the beginning had me melting. The roommates to friends with benefits arc is so hot. The kinks 👀🥵🔥
I loved the plot line of Jamie loving spicy books. Discussing that his "ex" found them repulsive gave a true to life representation of how some individuals view us in the romance community. Seeing Tyler not only accept Jamie's hobby, but take an interest in it for himself, to attempt audiobooks, and maybe for other reasons 👀
I liked that Jamie felt instantly at ease with Tyler and that he could be himself. As the story went on I was expecting a little more confidence on his part regarding his relationship with Tyler and that fell a little flat for me. There were some phrases that were distinctly British. I actually thought they were in England until they mentioned Seattle and the PNW later on. Examples were "I'll plate up" or describing finding a roommate as a "flat-share" (which was in chapter one). Jamie was described as being from a rural town in Oregon. Just something I noticed and it stood out once the location was confirmed later on, and phrases continued to pop up in the story. My other small note is the internal monologues that felt repetitive after a while. It left the pacing feeling slightly off. The pining was not as much as i would have thought.
All in all if you're looking for a very spicy easy read look no further. Congratulations on your debut novel!

I really enjoyed this debut novel by Sakara Storms. It’s a charming story about allowing yourself to be exactly who you are. Jaime and Tyler’s story is incredibly sweet. Jaime’s character arc is really interesting. I love how accepting Tyler is of Jaime, even before realizing that he might have feelings for him.
I love how Jaime and Tyler go from somewhat strangers to roommates to lovers. It’s a natural progression for how drawn to other another they are. Tyler is genuinely kind and protective and it does wonders for Jaime’s heart and mind. Jaime is a sweet soul. He’s so endearing and just wants someone to dote on and be doted on in return.
There is a bit of a need for more direct communication at first, but they figure it out. Neither MC is perfect (in their mind), both carry shame about things from their past, but they are perfect together and for each other. I appreciate that neither Tyler nor Jaime makes the other feel ashamed about past deeds. They lift one another up. It’s clear how much they care about one another. As they become something more than roommates, the dynamic between Jaime and Tyler is really fitting and it allows them to enter into a wonderful and fulfilling relationship.
The story flows really well. From the first chapter to the cathartic and swoon worthy epilogue. I appreciate the pacing and character growth. Jaime really blossoms under Tyler’s commitment to be a safe space and a soft place to land. Both MCs help one another feel accepted. Jaime and Tyler’s needs and desires align really well and it’s clear how compatible they are. The spice is definitely spicing in this story.
The cast of characters is really appealing in this book! Except David; he’s a tool. Blake and Seth add some more levity to the story. (I am hoping that Seth and Aiden get a book)! Looking forward to more from this author!

Okay, so… I have very mixed feelings about this one.
There were definitely things I liked, but there were also a few that really rubbed me the wrong way.
Let’s start with the good:
For a debut, I thought the writing was solid. The story itself is very simple and really, pretty light on plot. The strangers to roommates to friends to f*ckbuddies to boyfriends progression feels very straightforward. There’s a lot of spicy scenes, and they are very well written. This is actually a very smutty book. And that make sense because really, sex is the foundation of Tyler and Jamie’s relationship. These two are clearly on the same wavelength in that department, and the book leans hard into it.
But… that’s also kind of it. They’re sexually compatible, so they just roll with it.
The thing is, I kind of want a little more from my books.
There’s very little character or relationship development. I was promised pining, but there really isn’t too much. Jamie is supposed to be heartbroken after being dumped by his boyfriend, but then he starts crushing on Tyler almost immediately after they move in together. Tyler is supposedly straight, but he jumps into bed with Jamie with basically zero hesitation or meaningful questioning. I love a good sexual awakening storyline, but this one just didn’t feel convincing to me.
And finally, my biggest issue: Jamie’s weak, whiny personality really got on my nerves. The relationship felt super unbalanced, and that’s something that always takes me out of a story.
Maybe, if this had been a novella, I probably would have rated it higher. By around the 60% mark, it felt like the main conflict was already over, and the rest just felt like filler.
That said, I can still see the appeal. If you’re in the mood for something light, easy, and very, very smutty, this might totally work for you. But if you’re looking for more depth or substance, you might end up disappointed.
This was a good debut; I enjoyed reading it and had a lot of fun with the story. It’s a very sex heavy plot (for anyone it’s wasn’t already obvious to) which is fine by me; a-lot of the story is centered around the fact that Tyler and Jamie are basically a perfect match and completely 100% compatible in the bedroom. Which has been a big point of contention in their previous relationships.
This book is also heavy on miscommunication trope, but I can really appreciate that Sakara progresses the story past that before it became too annoying/ridiculous. Jamie’s ex made for an interesting plot point even though it was over kinda quick and with little fan fare.
I liked the writing style for the part. There were some parts where the characters internal monologue read more like a blog post. Specifically there were these random cut ins or 4th wall breaks… like mid sentence. Not a direct examples but something like: He thought that was big (he has no idea). *Or* He was laughing like it was funny – it wasn’t. These can be quirky on occasion the frequency in which they appear was weird sometimes and took me out of the scene.
I enjoyed the epilogue; I was hoping for some closure with Jamie’s family and was glad we got it.
Lastly, the set up for future characters is nicely woven into the story. Sakara kept it kinda vague but kind of not; at first it seemed like Seth/Blake was being set up, towards the middle it shifted to Blake/Aiden (which I personally was most intrigued by), and by the end it was leaning more to Aiden/Seth. So that all being said… I wouldn’t be surprised if the next book was MMM with all 3… and while that’s not my cup of tea; I know a-lot of others who would enjoy it. I could be wrong though and it may just be one of the 3 possibilities, we’ll see — but regardless I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this author’s future works.
All the freakin' ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ And even more 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ 🤤🤤🤤🥵🥵🥵
Okay...WOW. Where do I start?
I finished the book a couple days ago, but I needed to pull myself together and gather my thoughts.
Another reader already mentioned in their review that it felt as if this book was written for them and all I can say is: HARD SAME!
This story hit every single one of my favorite tropes: size difference, pining, dirty talk (omg so much!), cock-warming, a needy bottom who wants to be filled at all times, begging, a protective top (who's such a himbo, lmao, I love him) and so many more! Easily the hottest read of 2026, and I can't believe this is the author's first book! Insane.
The plentiful sexy times aside, the story has depth and so much emotion. I related to Jamie on a spiritual level, with all his insecurities, and trying hard not to be a doormat and stand up for himself, as well as struggling with the feelings of not deserving something. Cue Tyler, the knight in grumpy armor, who saves the day and appreciates Jamie head to toe (figuratively and literally lol).
There was some angst, mainly due to the pining, and a bit of outside drama, but it was all there for a reason and it wasn't unnecessarily dragged out, which I'm very grateful for! So many authors overdo this, and it just makes me tired. This was the perfect amount!
The first date at the markets was so good! Funny, cute, and sexy (I really want to find a moisturizer that smells like honey, oatmeal and vanilla haha). Another thing that really made me happy - I appreciate it so much that the author didn't turn any of the female characters into villains or bitches. I'm so tired of women being torn down and used as antagonists. The fact that Jamie pretty much befriended all of them despite feeling jealous was so good! More books like this please.
Also, the petname? FUCKING SWOON
Last but not least - Seth? I already love you. You're such a diva.
I'm so hyped for book 2!
This must be my most favorite bit from the book (I died laughing)
Edit: I almost forgot! The bonus chapter! To quote Jamie, I almost combusted. SO HOT. There are not nearly enough somno scenes in the romance world!
This book captured my attention from the first page. Both Jamie and Tyler had "secret sides" that they wanted to keep hidden and I was intrigued to find out exactly what they were. I loved both main characters- Jamie was the shy quiet little bunny with hidden kinks that his ex had shamed him and made him feel wrong for having. Tyler was the protective gymbro who wanted to take care of him. He had his own secret that kept him from having serious relationships. The build up to them starting their situationship was fantastic. The pacing was excellent and I was excited to see how they navigated it once they got there. The chemistry between them up until this point was so good too. The book then became a bit like a book of two halves. Whilst it was a nice build up to around 45% and then some wonderful spice, after that it seemed to have lots of different storylines thrown in that were never fully explored. The ex returned but was dealt with swiftly with relatively little fuss. Jamie collected lots of friends along the way - perhaps paving the way for future books with these side characters as main characters? There is a meeting with his parents but no meeting with Tyler's, who's family had been built up more in the first half of the book. There was no real exploration of the kinks that Jamie had, we found our Tyler's issue but got nothing more about it - it just resolved itself. This was a perfectly readable book with likeable characters and a nice read if you're looking for something low angst.

A huge thank you to the author for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review!
What a fantastic debut novel! If you love a straightforward, fun romance with a healthy dose of steam—your classic "plot with porn"—this is absolutely a formula that works.
The characters were hands down the highlight for me, especially Tyler. He is officially the ultimate open-minded himbo, and I am obsessed! I loved the contrast between him being a brilliant, "not a hacker" tech-guy and just a sweet, lovable guy in real life. But what really stole my heart was how naturally the romance developed. There is zero unnecessary drama or taboo when it comes to exploring his sexuality. He realizes he's attracted to men, accepts it with the most open mind ever, and just rolls with it. It was so incredibly refreshing to read!
The author’s writing style is highly engaging, and the balance is fantastic: the spicy scenes are definitely spicy, while the cute moments are genuinely heartwarming.
My only real critique is that the book does suffer from some pacing issues. There are a few lulls, mostly caused by repetitive internal monologues where characters rehash thoughts and feelings that had already been clearly established. It made some chapters drag a bit when the story could have kept moving.
All in all, despite the repetitive moments, I had a blast reading this. It’s a very solid, incredibly promising first book, and I can't wait to see what the author does next. Highly recommend keeping an eye out for this release!
After Jamie's boyfriend dumps him, Jamie is left looking for a new place to live. To his surprise the guy who answers the door and the next place he looks at is the hottie patient at the chiropractic clinic where Jamie is the receptionist.
Jamie is so sweet but he's been made to feel like he's too much, like he can't be his true self. That's all he really wants. Is someone to love him and accept all of him, kinks and all. I just wanted to wrap him up and tell him how perfect he is.
Tyler is an oblivious gymbro. He is so funny with how clueless he could be at times. I loved him. I adored how kind he was with Jamie. Beneath the muscles and confidence was someone incredibly kind, patient, and caring. Watching him become Jamie's safe place was one of my favourite parts of the book. He never tried to change Jamie, he simply gave him the space to feel safe and be himself.
The spice in this book absolutely delivered. Tyler's dirty talk was super hot and the spicy scenes were delicious. Jamie was a needy bottom and Tyler was the greedy top and they just fit together perfectly. They had chemistry right from the beginning and their flirty banter was both sweet and cheeky.
There are also some amazing side characters who I hope get their own books *cough* Seth and Aiden *cough*
If you enjoy strangers to friends to lovers, needy bottoms, a protective top, praise kink, sweet pet names and a romance that delivers both heart and heat then this book is a must read.
Pros: The author of this book has a really good voice. It was an easy and enjoyable read. I appreciated the relationship development, it felt natural and not rushed. There wasn't any point where I went "just talk to each other!" because they had their reasons for not communicating in the beginning, and had excellent communication by the end.
The explicit scenes were written significantly better than a lot of other indie / small press erotica scenes I've read. The content warnings were very clear, and I VERY much appreciate them, since I've been burned too many times by a bait-and-switch with undisclosed content. The book explicitly discusses consent several times, making sure that both characters are fully into what's happening every step of the way.
Cons: The middle of the book dragged a little. There were several chapters in a row of very little except steamy scenes, which didn't progress the relationship much. I think if they had been cut down a little and spaced out in the end more, it would have flowed better. There was very little on-page sexual intimacy in the latter half of the book.
There wasn't a voice difference between the two characters. I wouldn't be able to tell you which one I was reading if you gave me a random excerpt from one of the chapters.
I'm not sure if the epilogue was necessary. The book was about the relationship between Jamie and Tyler, but the epilogue diverged from that. It doesn't harm the story, but it does take away from the emotional ending of the last chapter.
I received an ARC at 7:45pm last night. Let’s just say I didn’t go to sleep until 2am.
As someone who has never received an ARC, I went in blind. And boy, what a ride. The best ride.
I LOVED this book. Like, adding to my Fav’s shelf because this will be a re-read.
I don’t want to dig into the story or give away too many spoilers, but Jamie comes home to find his bf moving out, leaving him in a situation where he needs to find somewhere else to live. Jamie works as a receptionist at massage/chiropractor office while also in school to become a massage therapist.
In comes Tyler. A client at the clinic, and also straight, and we find out he is looking for a roommate.
Jamie moves in. Jamie has a crush. Crush intensifies….
Jamie - my heart hurt for him in the beginning, but watching his story involve, gahhhhh. He’s cute (as Tyler would say).
Tyler - bi-awakening/roommate, idiots-to-lovers. I want to say he basically a golden retriever that’s obsessed with sex and I loved him.
The spice was on point. Read the TW/CW to be safe but it was my kind of spice and story. I would say 4/5 on spice but everyone has a different way to judge spice levels so that’s my feeling on it.
Overall, I loved this book. 5/5
What is it people say, I wrote this on my own with no author influence, something like that :)
Also - I really hope Seth and Aiden get their own book next :)
Let me start by saying, *His to Take* is hot, hot, hot. The spice is absolutely on point.
Jamie is small and has always been made to feel ashamed—by his ex, David, because of his size, by his parents because of his choices, and even by what he likes in the bedroom. What begins as a bad situation ends up leading Jamie to become the roommate of his crush.
Tyler is, as Jamie says, a total gym bro. He works out constantly and regularly visits Jamie's job for massages. Tyler is also, for all intents and purposes, a himbo. More importantly, he's incredibly protective of Jamie, especially after an incident during a night out.
Watching Tyler try to figure out why Jamie—his "bunny"—keeps pulling away was enlightening, especially when he finally realizes what's really going on. While they struggle with communication at first, like any couple, they eventually work through it.
If you love friends-to-lovers, roommate-to-lovers, bi-awakenings, and lots of steamy moments, then pick up *His to Take* by Sakara Storms. You won't be disappointed.
**What you get:**
* Size difference * 🍆 Warming * Dirty talk * Insatiable bottom * Sexual awakening * Praise kink *Pining *Somnophilia *They were roommates *Cum play *Who did this to you
All Jamie has wanted is to have someone accept him for all his is, k!nks and all! After his boyfriend David breaks up with him Jamie is in a scramble not only to get over his heart break, but to find a new place to live. After looking place after place, the last spot he expected to end up was the doorstep of the hunky patient from the chiropractor clinic he works at.
Tyler is just the gymbro himbo you expect but i love him! Our big old hypersexual himbo is looking for a roommate after his decides hes moving in with his girlfriend, and what a surprise when the sweet receptionist from the chiropractor office is on his doorstep needing a fresh start.
These two are a perfect match in spicy heaven! Jamie is the cutest needy bunny and Tyler is the perfect oblivious himbo haha, watching Tyler just care for Jamie not realizing our sweet bunny is head over heals for him is just utterly adorable!
If you love a good Strangers to friends to lovers or as Tyler would say idiots to lovers haha A sweet oblivious himbo Praise k!nk And Pet names then this is for you! Coming June 24th
This book was so much fun! Tyler and Jamie are both so special and it was fun to watch them come together and figure their stuff out. This book is very, very spicy, with saucy times all throughout. While it is very smut heavy, there is still a good amount of plot and character development. I’d say it’s low angst, and while there is some pining, it’s not a prolonged period and is definitely reciprocated (eventually). The side characters are fun too, with one exception (the awful ex). This story is something you can pickup when you need a little escape from reality and want some sweetness and a whole lot of spice. I think it would be a good palate cleanser in between heavier books. It’s just fun and a very enjoyable read. I don’t know if there are plans to continue to series but I would devour a book about Seth and Aiden!
An absolute sweet read! All the soft and fluffy feels- and I'm not talking about the pet bunny! Although, the bunny is pretty damn adorable!
I absolutely loved His To Take! Jamie is so cute and honestly innocent, in his own way. Watching him find his person and being comfortable enough to be himself made my heart smile. Tyler coming to terms and realizing his perfect match is closer than he could have ever hoped had me all in my feelings. While the two of them needed a communications 101 class- their story, their dialogue and their feelings were authentic.
This was such a cute, spicy and honestly quick read, it was the perfect way to spend my day. Did I mention the spice? It's spicy! There were a lot of interesting side characters included, that I really hope we get to see more of. If you're looking for a fairly light, easy, cute and spicy read- I absolutely recommend!!
I received an ARC of this book and am leaving my honest review.
Jamie gets dumped by his boyfriend and suddenly has to find somewhere else to live. When he goes to tour a place, he finds out Tyler will be his new roommate!! The tension between them is instant, and things heat up pretty quickly 🥵
I really liked this book. The character development was one of my favorite parts. Jamie and Tyler both go through situations that challenge them and help them grow, individually and together. The chemistry between them is undeniable, and I loved watching their relationship build from awkward tension to something so much deeper.
I found myself rooting for them the entire time and completely invested in their story.
This was such a fun, steamy, and enjoyable read, and I highly recommend it! 📚❤️
Omg! This is in my list of top favorite MM books this year!
Jamie just made me want to hug him and tell him he's worthy from the very start! However, the journey that Jamie and Tyler's friendship that turned into friends with benefits than a full on relationship went on, was so worth it!
Jamie is a blend of sweetness mixed with a wild side he was always made to feel like he had to hide. Tyler is your typical gym bro that has a caretaker and protector side that Jamie draws out.
I loved the spice and how it felt like that wasn't the only plot and we got to experience all the feels with this book.
I definitely recommend this story for those who love their MM stories that makes you feel everything the characters do!

Such a great cosy read! Jamie and Tyler’s story was sweet and romantic even as it was also super spicy. Definitely one for everyone’s TBR!
After a particularly bad breakup, Jamie ends up moving in to Tyler’s spare room. And the friends to lovers tension instantly kicks in. Jamie certainly has confidence issues, but gradually comes into his own and comes to accept himself as he grows closer to Tyler. Tyler is also such a perfect protective book boyfriend! Our sweet, oblivious gym bro is so obsessed with Jamie it’s adorable.
Read this one if you like: 💜 Friends to lovers 💜 Roommates 💜 Bi awakening 💜 Size difference 💜 Plenty of k!nk and spice
Such a great debut from a new author!
*I was gifted an ARC but this is an honest review*
Diving into this book was like settling into an old cosy fanfiction read (in the best way) where you're eager to watch them fall in love with a generous serving of fantastic spice! Jaime and Tyler were both loveable and fun to read.
My only qualm was for a book that does such a good job discussing various topics and feelings, I was a little put out by the discussion of how a woman was abused (no matter how much culpability is taken) being the precursor for kink discussion and then a sex scene. That being said, the bonus chapter was delightful. I just wish it hadn't had to come about the way it did.
All in all, I ate this up in a single day and really enjoyed the read!

Idiots to lovers on full throttle. Jamie and Tyler truly were fools but they balanced each other out so well that it worked in their favor when they were both equally clueless as well as when they both were all in with each other. Both were complex in their sexual needs as well as certain life experiences that it made for an interesting read when each situation finally got explained. I enjoyed how spicy this was and I enjoyed the friendships within this story. I will say I do wish we got to see Jamie meet Tyler’s family but I digress. I know this is a series and I’m curious if Aiden and Seth are book number 2…hmmm

Ive been in a book slump all year, (this was book 4, compared to almost 40 this time last year) and I am obsessed. I read this in one sitting I need more, honestly The build up, the small bits of conflict, the emotional suspense God, I would be happy for this book to ruin me Ive never been this obsessed with a book The character development and backgrounds are amazing I honestly dont know how to properly explain how this book made me feel But if you like mm books, I truly believe its a must read, just keep in mind there is some angst
Sweetie babiesss. Very obviously Pretty Boy vibes. Umm also is that the same model on the cover?? I love the clingy/needy/codependent trope and Jamie personified that. Tyler was so sweet and understanding and perfect for him too. Even tho he was kinda clueless in the beginning🙄 I think we could have gone a little deeper emotionally and there wasn’t a lot of big conflict. And did we even get to see Jamie meet Tyler’s sister?? Bc I was looking forward to that. Overall I love the MCs and their relationship but wanted a little more out of the book
Whewee hot! 🌶️🌶️🌶️ The build up to these two guys is perfect, hot and pining and frustrating. When they finally get there, boom it is good. Tyler is everyone’s dream guy and Jamie is insanely cute. I adored the secondary characters as well, Seth is a hoot, Aiden adorable, hope they get a book! This story is laugh out loud in places and don’t read in public, steamy hot! Loved it!
