The Unlucky, Sarah Roberts Book Thirteen When a young Toronto woman steps onto the edge of the CN Tower and prepares to jump to her death, Sarah Roberts is already there, waiting for the jumper with a parachute and a solution. As the woman teeters over the edge and is about to fall over a thousand feet to the cement, Vivian channels through Sarah, takes over her gun hand and shoots the jumper in front of dozens of witnesses. It turns out, Vivian had prepared the parachute for Sarah's escape. With a manhunt for Sarah underway, she is overwhelmed with an anger at Vivian she has never felt before.
While staying under the radar, Sarah heads to a cottage in Northern Ontario and commits murder again, this time using a police-registered weapon that the Toronto Police know she has stolen.
Parkman flies in from California and teams up with Sarah's on-again-off-again boyfriend to learn why Sarah has lost control. What has happened to make her wander the streets of Toronto murdering whomever she deems guilty? How far will Sarah go for justice? How far will the police go to stop a murderous vigilante? Has Sarah lost her mind, or has Vivian gone crazy, using Sarah in ways never seen before?
When more bodies are discovered and the police have eyewitnesses and camera footage proving Sarah is responsible, they have no choice but to hunt her down using all means necessary.
But Sarah is The Unlucky pawn of a dead sister channeling through her at will, a sister who won't stop until all those who are supposed to be dead have been killed. They'll have to kill her to stop her as she takes the authorities on a journey through a tortured hell to a shocking conclusion that will leave Sarah scarred for the rest of her life.

This series is getting deep and I can't stop reading. I have never been pulled in so deep to a series that I wanted to hurry to the next book to find out what happens next. Good Job Jonas Saul.
I love this series and as usual I cannot put the book down! The story is fantastic but the visuals of the victims so sad! The energy of Sarah just keeps moving and something so satisfying that she can get those messages through Vivian to get to the next criminal. I know it's over but am waiting for the next book please!
I cannot get enough of this series. I read the new ones in one day. Life stops until I know how it ends. I enjoy following what Sarah gets into and how she gets out of her situations. Ive not read another series like it and hope it never ends.
The 13th in the series. I did not plan to read more in the series if they were published but Saul writes these with cliffhangers. The story is more of the same with Sarah getting in over her head and everything ending up fine.
I can't believe I am done already! I think this is my favorite one so far. I love all the twists in this one. Vivian and Sarah will keep you guessing. Awesome read couldn't put it down.
The series are absolutely page turning, can't put down reading. You can't wait to finish and get to the next book. My only problem is I've read all 13 books and hate waiting for the next book to come out. This is a must read series!
I have read all the books in this series always sitting on the edge of your seat. Mr. Saul keep writing this series your an excellent writer. Thanks so much for this series.
Evil has met its match in Sarah Roberts and her deceased sister, Vivian. But, sometimes defeating evil is not only messy and dangerous but requires breaking rules/laws and descending into the abyss oneself, albeit for the greater good. Sarah has done that yet again and the fight continues as she pursues the evil she has only slowed and has yet to stop. This series in one I started many years ago and reread quite often, never tiring of revisiting.... The next book awaits. Jonas Saul and Sarah Roberts NEVER disappoint! Solid 5+ stars and only wish there were more available!
This is history in the making. Book 13 delivers all that you have grown to love and respect with Sarah and her team. Although, this is a side of the sister team that you may not be ready for. I was hooked right out of the gate (as expected) Jonas brings a new side to Sarah that I couldn't get enough of. Put the coffee on because once you start you won't be able to stop.
I really thought there was no way for Sarah to get a "get out of jail free card" in this one. I love that Sarah's continued freedom resulted because of a reunion for Detective Diner. This book touched me to the core because, although it's fiction, it's also a horrible reality that women and girls are actually going through such horrors. Here's to Sarah getting the black book.
The was one of the more gore filled novels in the series. The plot line was disturbing but moved at a fast pace. There seemed to be too many murders, but in the end all tied up into a solved puzzle with almost all of the pieces in place. This book ended in a cliff hanger, so the next in the series is a must read.
WOW! This book reminded me of the first few books in the series because it was Sarah and Vivian working alone together. This is one of the best in the series although I have not read a bad Sarah Roberts book. Looking forward to the next one.
Loved this book. Surprises around every corner. Enjoyed the twists and turns very much. Seems like Vivian is leading Sarah into some hard to get out of places.
Sarah is on the run once again. But it's so bad, she will either die or go to prison for killing a cop and about three other people. She's not only hiding from the cops but from the sexual traffickers as well. Once again she has no backup from her friends, not even Vivian is helping much and as we all know she is the one who gets Sarah in these predicaments. Sarah starts with killing a girl who is jumping off a building to commit suicide, so why not just let her fall? She later finds herself being massacred with bullets while she is in a car with no way out. There is so much going on its only time before more people die. I hope you continue to follow Sarah till the end.
I love how Jonas paints Sarah into seemingly impossible to get out of places and guess how it will happen. This story was fairly harsh as far as treatment toward women. But, it made for exciting reading. There are so many bad things happening in the world, but when I read about it in fiction I can just relax and enjoy it. I hope a lot of young women read this so they won't put themselves into compromising situations. Great ending!! I bought the next before I reviewed this. A FAN for years. I highly recommend this book, and the whole series.
As always I enjoy Sarah Roberts adventure. How much damage can one woman stand I have read all of Jonas Sauls books that can get my hands on and always suspenseful and action packed. I love Aaron too and wish they could just settle down and live a normal life. Looking forward to the next adventure. I also like when she is in Toronto and since I was raised there it is wonderful to identify some of the Toronto scenes.
Like all books in the Sarah Roberts series, I enjoyed it. These books always have enough action and plot twists that keep me hooked from page 1, and this installment did not disappoint! Just when I think it can't get crazier or more interesting, it always does. Great book!
I cried I laughed I held my breath forgetting to exhale. As always, I loved this Sarah's adventures and this one hit close to home for me. I love these series and am eagerly starting the next book
