This book took me on a wild ride! There is no way I could have seen that twist coming at the end. I truly felt for Jo. The addition of the agoraphobia added a new take on the standard missing child tropes that I really enjoyed.
There aren't many times when I am thinking a book could be longer, but in this case, I do feel like the ending- specifically after the twist is revealed but before the resolution- could have been fleshed out more. It really feels like a switch flipped, and I wish I could have seen the character in the twist fleshed out a bit more.
That is my only critique, though. Definitely a good, fast read with an interesting take on the missing child trope.
