New York Times bestselling author Robert H. Schuller encourages readers to realize their dreams through "Possibility Thinking." He offers the keys to getting, using, and keeping self-confidence--enabling readers to become winners, without fear of failure and with a positive mental attitude.
Robert Harold Schuller was an American Christian televangelist, pastor, motivational speaker, and author. He was ordained as a minister, who rocketed to stardom in 1955 preaching from the roof of a concession stand at the drive-in movie theatre, displaying a passion and a marketing towards other people. He had been incorporating elements of psychology, into each of his messages and for many in the Christian community, he was serving up a "feel-good gospel" and that the money he was spending on buildings was to be put to better use by giving it to the poor.
I have to say, from what i recall of starting to read this book, it contains great information. I clearly did not get up to Chapter 10, which is titled 'Never Give Up'. I found that the text in this book was small and close together, so found it hard to read. Having said that, I really must attempt to read it again. There is sure to be a gem in there somewhere.
This is the last book I read to fulfill my 2018 challenge, and it was worth it. I had hardly the time to read another heavy book, and needed to clear off the wicked thoughts in my head. This was a great way to end the year. Of course it contains a lot of themes found in other self-help books, but it nevertheless offers an alternative take on positivity.
Me encantó!!!
