Super: Origins is the first book in the Super: Series.
Like many, Lex McKilliam was a woman in search of a job. The one that came looking for her was like nothing she'd expected, however. Suddenly thrust into a world where everyone can do something a little beyond the ordinary, Lex makes new friends and works hard to improve her skills. The mystery behind the agency that recruited Lex and her new friends and the strange medical procedures they insist on begin to intrude on their lives further, until a surprise revelation lays bare the depth of the trap Lex and her friends have fallen into. Will they be able to save themselves the way they've saved so many others?
I have been both a reader and a writer as long as I can remember. Super: Origins is my first complete book, however, and I've also been publishing it serially online, here. I hope you enjoy reading what I've written, and please feel free to ask questions about the book at any time.
Good read. Had some difficulty with the lack of imagination the "company" displayed. If you are tending people wit extraordinarily gifts wouldn't you have "minders" that at least better suited to thinking ahead. Or was the assumption that they are women and can be more easily be emotionally manipulated? Not clear but will have to read the follow up to be sure
