An AD Western About Two Brothers/One Stay at. Home/One to Civil War

The brother returns from war to claim his share of the ranch and reclaim his wife. Only he can keep us picked away for many years. The issues at hand are handle the set to make a away. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

Elkhorn Divide

I chose the rating of the five star award because the author deserves this rating. All of the books that I have read by Alfred Dennis are exceptional reads. If reading about Native American culture of the fights between the tribes and the settlers, is what you like to read about, then this authors books are just what you will really enjoy.

Loved every page

His characters are really well written. Love his knowledge and expertise in western lore. I am reading through his novels and sure wish he would write more series like Crow Killer. This book could use a sequel as well. Would like to see how the horse ranch is growing.

Alfred Dennis is becoming my favorite western author. This one about a man returning from the civil war to find the woman he loves married to his brother if full of excitement at every turn. My only complaint is he ends his story without an Epilogue leaving to many unanswered questions.

Another great story by Alfred Dennis

I’ve read all of Alfred Dennis’s stories about the early days of the west, and this story, Elkhorn Divide, is my favorite!
I read until 11:30pm one night, woke up at 5am and read until I finished it! I just couldn’t put it down!
I’m anxiously awaiting his next story!
