This final installment of the trilogy, packs a whallop. Every thread gets pulled and each string leads to the ultimate showdown. The slow reveals between Garrett and Allison help to draw you in. You see her sham of a marriage to Brody. The noose gets tighter around everyone due to an intrepid detective who won't let go that there's something more afoot.

I was silently rooting for the final showdown, but along the way I wanted to throttle Garrett and his behavior. You gotta be honest if Allison is your everything, and trust her with all of your sins.

In true fashion that ending and showdown has some twists, I would expect nothing less. Now, I'm rooting for an offshoot for the detective Kaitlyn. And much like a hand necklace this story will stick with you long after it's over.

Tropes and triggers: touch her and die, found family, cat and mouse, pitch black, primal, somno

I received an advanced copy for an honest review.

Okay okay okay, The Devil You Know is, in my opinion, the perfect ending to a trilogy that has had my heart from the very beginning. LO you've truly put your all into this story and these characters!

The way the timeline has weaved itself together, the jaw dropping reveals, the dark depravity these characters are willing to sink to... There's not a single moment I wanted to put this book down, I simply couldn't!

If you love dark romance with morally black characters and a spine tingling mystery, then The Devil's Obsession Trilogy is exactly the series you need to pick up!

I'm forever grateful to have found your writing LO, and I cannot WAIT to see what you have up your sleeve next after that ending!

This is an ARC review I am leaving voluntarily and all thoughts are my own.

I honestly am at a loss for words this book is just THAT GOOD 😍 The Devil You Know follows Garrett, the dark and brooding psychopath stalker who is absolutely OBSESSED with a woman he has known since they were children and is willing to do absolutely anything to get her back and Allison, a woman who's marriage is a sham and as Garrett shows up in her life again she realizes just how horrible the man she married is, together they "tie up loose ends" and try to have their own HEA, but will they? This dark romance/murder mystery book is one that will leave a lasting impression on you! I know I can't stop thinking about it, Lo had me hanging on to the edge of my seat with each chapter, every page the book just got better and better and I just can't believe the trilogy is at an end 😭 and what a way for it to go out!
Thank you Lo for letting me be apart of this🖤

Garrett is so unhinged and possessive and will do anything he has to to get his Allison. Allison knows her marriage is a sham and Brody just can get his way out of anything. The Devil will help with that 😏. Allison thinks she wants that white picket fence life... but really she finds herself wanting that darkness .
This one was jam packed. I love how it ties all the trilogy together. That ending though..chefs kiss💋🔥🤌
I absolutely love these characters. They have good chemistry and the spice is spicing!

This was such an good ending to the trilogy!! The way Lo Gold gave us Garrett and Ali's backstory, and how everything fits together was amazing. There is truly no end to his unhinged devotion for her.

I loved how all of them banded together to get Liv back and finish off Luke and Garrett's list. Aannd the last bit with that cameo in the airport!! I'm hoping we get a spin-off of those two!!

Oh. My. Days!!! What a book!! This was incredible, it had me hooked from the very first chapter with a "who done it" true crime, murder mystery sort of vibe. This third book in the series really developed the plot, I loved how it revealed more about the characters and their twisted pasts, and how their stories intertwined with eachothers. This book had feeling of a suspense, thriller type dark romance, and I couldn't wait until everything was revealed! And the ending?! Totally up for another installment!!!

Fitting ending of a trilogy

Whoooaaa, hold on there.

For a second LO Gold had me, not gonna lie.

But the Devil is all what Ali needs. Her life came down around her and as it says, you don't know anyone truly.
Ali's husband deserved everything and honestly, I say he got off easily from the situation.
Allison's going through a self discovering journey that she tried to deny of herself. I love how confident she become and not being small anymore 😌

LO GOLD ABSOLUTELY WROTE ONE OF MY FAVORITE BOOKS OF HERS YET I LOVE ALL HER BOOKS BUT THIS ONE had me crying from all holes. I went in with good expectations but it had me in a chokehold from the beginning!

It starts off with one of the fmcs detective Kaitlin Pierce gets called in because a body was found a female and when she arrived ti the scene the body is completely mutilated unrecognizable fingerprints burned off and a ID saying she’s Allison Clarke and now she’s going to find out what happened to her! I WAS HOOKED IMMEDIATELY. This book reads like a thriller in your head and jumps into the masked man DADDDY FR

IF YOU LOVE MASKED MAN MMC PITCH BLACK MMC THEN THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU!!

He stalks our main FMC Allison and when I tell you this man will do anything to make her his THE WAY I WOULDVE BUSTED DOWN FOR HIM.

“She’s the other half to my fucking soul. And she needs me to set her free.”

I felt the soulmate connection instantly from this masked man and my heart omg

The next chapter is literally the masked man going into her house and THE SOMNOPHILIA TROPE IS STRONG WITH THIS MMC!! Please I was flinging my pearls off like mans has cameras set up all in her house he’s mindful he’s checking on her. The tension when she meets the new substitute teacher I was like that’s my man.

Allison’s character I loved so much because you have this strong woman a highschool teacher that has this perfect life and is married to her highschool sweet heart Brody (hate this mf) but shes lonely in her marriage and BRODY IS A POS HUBBY SO ITS FINE. when Gabriel comes into her life he fixes the parts of herself that was lost he helps her be the phoenix and strong force that she is!

We get to see cameos from the first two books that I was absolutely squealing over!!! You have a plot twist you don’t see coming And for me as a SA survivor this book healed me in a way that you see these fmcs get the justice the deserve and even one of the MMCS and I cried and loved every second of it! It was healing it’s so good worth every star!

The spice you don’t have to ask because it speaks for itself had me one handed reading pleasee.

“That’s it, Sleeping Beauty, my perfect unconscious doll. Mine to use.”

If you haven’t started this series I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!! 6 stars ⭐️

It made me cry at the end which I wasn’t expecting and that’s all I needed to know that I will forever love these characters and thankful for lo for giving us this universe of hers.

She ended it so perfectly it was bitter sweet but the end *fingers crossed* we get to see more of THE FOX (he’s the hacker that is friends with our masked man) & DETECTIVE KAITLIN PIERCE!

“You my Little Crow, can simply call me The Fox.”

Thank you for the arc Lo gold

Go download if you haven’t started this trilogy add it to your tbr!

LO brings Garret’s journey to a brutally intense finale in The Devil You Know, delivering a story that is equal parts seductive, sinister, and utterly addictive. This final installment of The Devil's Obsession Trilogy dives deep into obsession, devotion, and the kind of love that blurs the line between salvation and destruction.

The narrative unfolds through alternating perspectives—Garret, Allison Clarke, and Detective Kaitlin Pierce—which heightens the tension at every turn. Experiencing the unraveling mystery from the detective’s side adds a sharp edge of suspense, especially as she inches closer to exposing the truth behind the murders of two teachers. Each step she takes toward the truth feels like a countdown to catastrophe.

Allison’s evolution is just as gripping. Determined to uphold her carefully crafted “perfect life,” she clings to appearances even as everything begins to fracture. Watching her confront the illusion of her white-picket-fence reality and recognize what truly fulfills her adds emotional depth to the chaos. Meanwhile, Garret is darkness personified—possessive, relentless, morally bankrupt by most standards—yet unwavering in his loyalty. His obsession is extreme, but his commitment is absolute. He may be a walking warning sign, but his fierce adoration makes him impossible to look away from.

The return of Luke, Celeste, and Liv adds even more depth to the chaos, their involvement tightening the web of secrets and pushing the tension to a breaking point. The ending doesn’t just tie things together—it detonates.

What makes this conclusion so powerful is the reclamation of strength by the women at its core. Despite the chaos surrounding them, they rise, choosing empowerment and love on their own terms. And as wildly unhinged as the men may be, their devotion borders on worship—they would tear down the world to ensure the women they love stand at the top of it.

Dark, twisted, and unapologetically intense, this finale is both satisfying and hunger-inducing. It closes the chapter in explosive fashion while still leaving that desperate ache for more.

LO Gold delivers a suspenseful, twisted and dark conclusion to Garret’s story with The Devil You Know, and I couldn’t get enough of this unhinged, possessive MMC who is obsessed with the FMC, Allison Clarke. Yes, his methods make him decidedly pitch black, but his devotion to his soulmate is the stuff that epic, albeit perverted, love stories are made of.

This story is told in multiple POVs giving us not only Garret’s perspective, but also Allison and Detective Kaitlin Pierce’s. The addition of the Detective’s POV adds a lot of the suspense as she tries to solve two teachers’ murders and determine how the wealthy husband and the suspicious cyber security business owner are involved. I got apprehensive every time she got close to unmasking her killer.

Allison’s character tries to maintain her good girl persona and find happiness in the ‘white picket fence’ life she chose for herself. I loved that as her ‘perfect/not perfect’ world disintegrates around her, she starts to realize it was never what she really needed to be happy. Garrett is so intense, and his total devotion to Allison, as well as his sexual proclivities, made me fall for him, even if he’s a walking list of red flags.

Luke, Celeste and Liv return in this book, and their presence helps to pull the complex plot together for the nail-biting ending that is full of the plot twists and surprises I have come to love from this author. If you’re a lover of morally pitch black MMCs who will do anything to protect and claim the woman they’re obsessed with, then you don’t want to miss The Devil’s Trilogy.

Releasing 3/3!

I have been feral for this series since the beginning, and I’m so grateful to LO Gold for the early copy!

The Devil You by LO Gold, Book 3 of The Devils Obsession Trilogy. This is a Second Chance Dark Romance following Garett Patterson and Allison Clarke. 🚩🚩 This is for adult readers only (18+) as it has mature content and not suitable for underage readers. I cannot stress this enough…there are extremely dark themes so please check out the content warning before you dive in 🚩🚩

My thoughts 💭
This book…I have no words. Truly. None. So I will try my best. LO Gold saved the best for last and wrapped this trilogy up in a black little satin bow so perfectly then proceeded to deliver it to us on a silver platter of amazing writing. I am a fan of her writing and this book….wow. Hands down my favorite. Garetts unapologetically obsessed with Allison is…so unhealthy hahaha. He puts a new spin on stalking and unhinged behavior, he’s morally black but he absolutely loves her and will truly burn down the world for her so like I love him obviously. Allison, she had no idea what the next coming weeks would lead to but her quiet and boring life is definitely shook up in the most dramatic way possible. From the stalking, to the piece of trash she married, to the missing co-worker, it’s all so much and honestly who wouldn’t want to run away. But her magnetic pull to her new co-worker is undoubtedly the start of all the crazy unfolding. There are so many twists and turns but this book ends so perfectly. Everyone truly gets what they deserve. Whether it’s happiness or death, you’ll just have to read it to find out. You’ll love it. I guarantee it. But like expect dark elements because wow. The content warning needs to be read and believed because LO Gold did not hold back.

✨I would like to thank Author LO Gold for the opportunity to read and review The Devil You Know.

I’d say oh my god, but we play with the devil here

I actually am struggling for words for how much I loved this series. I’ve had the first book sitting on my TBR for months and decided on a whim to read it yesterday and by today I’ve devoured all 3 books (don’t ask me how sleep deprived I am, it’s not relevant and was incredibly worth it)

When I say I like Dark romance, THIS is what I mean by that. This entire series had me saying “What the ffffffff” more times than I can even remember. From the very first book I was SHOOK, in the best way possible. The spicy was dark, depraved and downright diabolical just the way I like it, but it’s the plot that kept me turning pages like a bat outta hell. The need to figure out exactly what was going on, how all the pieces fit, what everything meant, was like a driving need all throughout the series. This last installment wrapped everything up exactly like I hoped it would, and even left me wanting- scratch that- NEEDING more of this world.

From the moment I met the MMC I knew he’d drag me happily back into my dark romance era and I was right. Look I know we all like morally grey but this man was absolutely morally BLACK. Not a shred of greyscale on him, and I loved it. The lengths he went to not only get his girl but to end the entire evil of the Big Bad was exactly the right amount of crazy I need in a book like this.

I wasn’t sure about Ali at first but we LOVE a queen who retakes her power while sticking it to the ones who took it from her in the first place. I am obsessed with her and hope she gets to live the rest of her life on a cabana on a beach being ravished and doing art. Like girl you deserve everything coming for you 🥹

This is my first experience with LO Gold but it certainly won’t be my last.

I am actually unwell after this book and I mean that as the highest compliment because WHAT DID I JUST READ and why am I smiling like I know secrets I should not know

This story grabbed me by the throat immediately and did not let go. The vibes were dark obsessive chaotic dramatic and I was living for every single second. Garret is the definition of red flag energy but like the kind you see and still sprint toward because your brain clocked out and your hormones took over. He is intense possessive feral and fully devoted and I ate that up like dessert

The multiple POVs made everything feel extra dramatic because you are watching the chaos unfold from all angles and every time you think you understand what is happening BOOM plot twist uppercut to the soul. I was suspicious of everyone. I trusted no one. I gasped out loud like ten times. My emotional stability left the chat

Allison had me in my feelings because watching her perfect life crumble while she slowly realizes what she actually wants was delicious chaos. And when certain familiar characters popped back in I was kicking my feet like a gremlin because the connections across the story just hit so good

This whole thing is dark romance perfection. Obsession danger devotion plot twists emotional damage unhinged men who would ruin the world for their girl. I finished this feral and now I am just sitting here staring at the wall thinking about them like they personally ruined my life

I am obsessed. I am unwell. I need more immediately.

I'm still kinda reeling from this one!
The way this trilogy came together in this epic conclusion, combined with the murder mystery vibes, plot twists, and the dark and unhinged characters.. I could not put it down. The predator and prey vibes had me in a chokehold from the thrill of it all, my heart was racing while I kicked my giddy little feet at every turn.

I love it anytime a woman takes her power back, takes up more space, gets louder. I am woman, hear me roar .. and Allison was fucking roaring by the end. It was a beautiful metamorphosis once she met the Devil. from a bland and dull woman unhappily married, to a storm of life writhing beneath the shadows of the Devil. I was captivated with the darkness that leaked out of her.

Detective Kaitin Pierce was so intriguing! She's smart as a whip, with good instincts and oh so clever, I really enjoyed her POV chapters. Seeing the characters and their activities from outside eyes was fascinating because I couldn't help but like her and wang her to succeed, while simultaneously hoping she fails. That was a bit of a ride on its own! But the ending has me looking forward to more of her story in the future 👀

Thank you so much LO Gold for the opportunity to ARC read the entire 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘭𝘴 𝘖𝘣𝘴𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘛𝘳𝘪𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺, it really blew me away! you have become an instant read writer for me and can't wait to read more from you!

Read this if you like: The Mindfck Series* by S.T. Abby or you love crime and an obsessed MMC and a good twist.

Fav tropes: Villain Gets the Girl, High-Stakes Investigation, cat-and-mouse game.

Fav character: Detective Kaitlin Pierce. She is relentless especially in a genre where female leads can sometimes be overshadowed by the villainous MMC. I love how she holds her ground with a sharp mind and a refusal to back down.

Fav part/scene: The moment the investigation finally overlaps with the killer’s perspective. Seeing the same events through two different lenses was electric and addictive.

Unique factor: LO Gold’s dual-timeline and multi-POV execution is as diabolical as it is genius. Intertwining Allison’s haunting past, Kaitlin’s gritty investigation, and the Devil’s POV created pure, addictive chaos. And those twists? I absolutely have emotional whiplash.

Unforgettable moment: The chilling realization of just how deep the killer’s obsession goes. The grand reveal perfectly illustrates the difference between love and a terminal fixation, it literally made my skin crawl.

Didn’t like: It’s a very heavy read, be warned.

Recommend it? Yes, but only if you have a strong stomach for True Crime style fiction and dark romance. THIS IS not for the faint of heart.

Part of a series: Yes the final book in The Devil’s Obsession Trilogy

On Kindle Unlimited: Yes.

The Devil You Know by Lo Gold is the highly anticipated third and final book in The Devil’s Obsession trilogy, As the explosive conclusion to this dark romance series, it picks up the emotional wreckage, obsession, and tension built in the first two books and delivers the kind of intense payoff fans have been craving. While it can’t be read fully as a standalone, this finale absolutely rewards readers who’ve been invested from the beginning.

This book feels darker, sharper, and more emotionally raw. Lo Gold leans fully into the morally grey, obsessive hero energy—and somehow makes it even more addictive. The chemistry? Unhinged in the best way. The tension? Practically vibrating off the page. And the emotional stakes? Higher than ever.

What I loved most is how layered the characters feel here. The hero isn’t softened into something he’s not—he’s still possessive, intense, and a little dangerous—but we get deeper vulnerability beneath the devilish exterior. The heroine holds her own beautifully, and their push-and-pull dynamic feels earned, not forced. The angst hits hard, but so does the passion.
The pacing keeps you hooked, the emotional beats land perfectly, and the final chapters? Satisfying, intense, and worth the wait. If you love romance that makes your heart race and your jaw drop, this one delivers.
This book feels like the kind of finale that stays with you long after you close it. It’s dark, it’s passionate, and it embraces exactly what it promises to be.

Review of advance copy, received by author.

I really enjoyed The Devil You Know. It is an emotionally charged dark romance that delivers delicious spice and far more intrigue than expected. For one, I didn’t expect the story to start off with a detective investigating Allison Clarke’s murder. The seamless shifts between flashforwards and present day events adds depth, and keeps the narrative unpredictable. The Devil is a character who is, at times, unapologetically ruthless and yet at the same time disarmingly charismatic. His intense feelings and obsession he has for Allison is hauntingly romantic, especially when he says “I’ve been yours from the moment I first laid eyes on you, and my soul will be yours long after my flesh has rotted from my bones.” Allison, is a smart, well put together teacher on the outside but on the inside their is a lot of doubt. She finds herself caught between this dangerous allure and her marriage to a disgusting true monster, who is also one of the Devil’s sworn enemies. The story is so compelling because of the emotional weight that each character carries. Their tragic backstories and shared desire for retribution against powerful wealthy figures adds so much more to the story. I think the author does a beautiful job of intertwining vengeance, passion and redemption. For the ending of a third book, it is satisfying and brings together the story’s many threads in an impactful way.

📚 The Devil you know by Lo Gold

BABES… this trilogy had me in a CHOKEHOLD. I finished the finale and immediately had to sit in silence like ??? because WHAT did I just read. In the best way

Murder mystery. Time jumps. Obsession levels that should honestly be illegal but are equally hot AF. And Allison’s villain‑era glow‑up? I was SCREAMING. My girl went from beige to feral and I was cheering her on like a proud mama.

And The Devil? A walking red flag bouquet and I still ate it up.😏

The Devil You Know is the third and final book in The Devil’s Obsession trilogy and delivers a twisted conclusion that’ll leave you on the edge of your seat. This series has had me in a chokehold since the very first book and this finale brought everything full circle. The murder mystery aspect of this book really kept me guessing and had me questioning everything. The dynamic between Garett and Allison was everything I was hoping it’d be and then some. The spice, as with all the books in this trilogy, was beyond hot 🥵 Getting to see Luke, Liv, and Celeste again made my heart so happy!

If you’re looking for a trilogy with obsessive MMCs, plot twists, suspense, masked men, and all the spice you can handle, this is definitely one to add to your tbr!

Lo… you did your thing with this one!!!!!!!!
This is. Book three in the Devil’s Obsession trilogy and when I tell you the red flags are RED… I mean dark, dark, DARK red. And I ate every single one.🚩🚩🚩🚩 Devoured. I binged the series in about a week and I proudly admit it!! It’s addicting!
If you’ve been following this series, you already know our FMC Allison and her stalker 👀the devil himself, Garret 🥵. SIR GARRET, takes possessive, obsessive to a whole other LEVEL. Unhinged? 100000% and I’m here for it ok ! He’s so Calculated*** and low-key impossible to look away from.

This book ties everything together so well the obsession, the power shifts, the psychological games. You HAVE to read this trilogy in order. It hits completely different when you understand the full unraveling.
The spice? Spicing.🤏🏽The banter? Toxic🤭.
The multi-POV? The best parttt!!!

This is dark romance yall.. obsessive, intense, a little creepy, unhinged AF… and you will not stop turning the pages.
Five stars from me.
A binge read (make yourself comfy).
A don’t-walk-RUN situation.
If you’re one of my dark romance girlies who loves morally grey energy, psychological tension, and relationships that would absolutely stress you out in real life… this one’s for you.
Huge Congratulations LO!!!!! I’m a STAN!!!!!!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🚩🚩

The Devil You Know is the kind of finale that made me sit back afterward and just sortof process everything for a minute. It's really a perfect book to end this trilogy.

Nothing gets watered down in this one. The obsession and possessiveness are still super intense. Garret is fully unhinged in his devotion, and I love that this story never tries to make him more palatable. The darkness is intentional, the tension is thick, and the tone stays consistent with everything that made this trilogy so damn addictive in the first place. The multiple perspectives in this one keep the suspense high. There was this constant underlying pressure that made it impossible for me to fully relax while reading. I genuinely didn’t feel like I could predict what was coming next. The intensity between the characters is just as strong as the chaos surrounding them. It’s definitely dramatic and dark. The spice is perfection, but it’s the build-up behind it that really makes it incredible.

This feels like a true series finale with everything wrapped up and those easter eggs I didn't realize were there made me question everything from the previous books. If you love morally pitch-black MMCs, unapologetic obsession, and dark romance that doesn't hold back, LO Gold is the master.

The Devil You Know is book three in the Devil’s Obsession Trilogy written by LO Gold. What a perfect way to end a trilogy! The finale was dark, delicious, and addictive. I couldn’t get enough! Highly recommended that you pick up The Devil in Disguise, The Devil Within, and the Devil You Know.

The book has multiple points of view. Usually, having more than two perspectives can be a little confusing, but LO did a fantastic job keeping it clear and concise. Garret, Allison, and Detective Pierce drew me into the story. Watching Detective Pierce get closer and closer to uncovering the mystery behind the teachers' murders had me on the edge of my seat.

The intensity between Allison and Garret was perfect. You have the perfect Allison holding on to everything she holds dear, including a horrible marriage. Watching her life crumble and Garret picking up the pieces was a chef’s kiss. Garret’s obsession with Allison was unmatched.

If that wasn’t enough, the book brings home the unhinged conclusions of the storylines from the other two books, wrapping them up in a beautiful bow. This series was dark and obsession-worthy!

Thanks to LO Gold for gifting me an eARC of The Devil You Know. I am leaving this review voluntarily. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Devilishly Obsessed & Loving It

Besties… "The Devil You Know" is the FINAL installment and it picks up exactly where "The Devil Within" left us... so no, you cannot skip. This trilogy is not a standalone. So, strap in.

The opening? Intense AF. We’re immediately thrown into chaos with Detective Kaitlin Pierce investigating a gruesome body dump that’s allegedly Allison. 👀 The suspenseful mystery element had me locked in. Multiple POVs (Allison, Devil/Garett, and Det. Kaitlin) make this feel layered, tense, and cinematic.

Now... let’s talk about Garett, shall we. His compulsion for Allison? Undying doesn’t even cover it. The depths this man will go to claim her... vengeance, pain, obsession... is absolutely unhinged. Touch her & d!e energy. Masked menace. Second chance chaos. And the spice? Lawd... Geezus... It is scorching H-O-T🔥. Fan yourself immediately because L.O. Gold did NOT come to play!

The revenge arc, the plot twists, the suspense? So freaking delicious. I was giddy and anxiety-ridden at the same time.

Ohhhh... and THAT ending?! What tha wha?!?!? Uhhhhh... excuse me... Ma'am... I need answers! 👀

“But if I am the Devil, then she is my Persephone.”

This book made my jaw physically drop and had me on the edge of my seat more than once. WAY MORE than once! I am completely blown away by this book, and by this series. The Devil You Know is the perfect conclusion to The Devil’s Obsession Trilogy. The way that this book is written was very interesting to me, because it kind of jumps around from the past to the present until we get to where we left off in book 2. And I think that the way that it’s written like this really pulls everything together and adds to the shock factor of some things. LO Gold did a PHENOMENAL job with this book and this series. Another thing I really love about this series is the characters. Each character has their own unique personality. And although these characters are completely unhinged and unorthodox, I love them all and think that they are all written very well.

I 1000% recommend The Devil You Know by LO Gold. But I can’t recommend it without recommending the whole Devil’s Obsession Trilogy! If you come across this review and are thinking about reading this series, do it! Right now! You won’t regret it! Especially if you love unhinged, and obsessive masked men who will literally burn the world down for the ones they love!

This is book three, and you absolutely need to read the first two before diving in. This is the conclusion. The point where all the threads from the earlier books collide and everything finally explodes.

Just when you think you’ve figured it out, the story pulls the rug out from under you. It’s multi-POV, but my standout was Detective Kaitlin Pierce. Procedurals aren’t usually my thing, so I don’t often latch onto detective characters, but every time she got close to the truth, I found myself holding my breath for her. I would love to see her get a book of her own.

This was the perfect ending to the trilogy. Now that all three are out, I’m genuinely tempted to reread them back-to-back because it feels like every single detail matters. It’s that layered and that well done and I want to make sure I didn't miss a thing!

If you’re into pitch-black, morally bankrupt characters, definitely check your triggers, but also don’t miss this. These characters will absolutely haunt you long after you finish.

Thank you, @logold_author for the ARC.

🔥 The Devil You Know by LO Gold 🔥

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ || 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

“I’d never say that I’m in love with her. Obsessed is a better word to describe this desperate need k have for her. Love is fluffy. Love is comforting. What i feel is painful; as if this burning desire for her has burrowed its way into the very f*cking marrow of my bones, refusing to eve me be until i make her mine.”

What an AMAZING ending to The Devil’s Obsession trilogy! I LOVE how the books all come full circle to get us to the amazing ending of this story! I loved the murder mystery aspect, and quite frankly, it had me questioning everything as i read through - and then when it hit me, OH IT HIT ME. I loveeeeeed how the Devil was revealed in Part 2 and i was so so excited to see this story play out! 🖤 i loved seeing Luke, Liv & Celeste from the first two books and i loved the character arcs for all of them! 🖤🔥🔪 if you love masked men, stalkers, possessive and obsessive MMCs - this is the trilogy for you! 👏🏻🤌🏻

I was thankful enough to be provided an ARC of all three books in this trilogy when they came out & for that, i thank you @logold_author 🖤

The perfect ending!!! And still left me craving more!! OMG!!! This was POWERFUL!! All 3 women reclaiming their power! And no matter how unhinged & obsessed these 2 men are with their women, they still treat them like treasure to be cherished and would burn the world to see them rule and have anything they coukd ever ask for or crave! They love them unconditionally and completely without hesitation, just as these women love their man!! All completely dedicated and willing to fight to keep the happiness, love, safety, trust, empowerment they give eachother! And that ending LO!!! I dont just crave more, I NEED more!!

"I've been reading up on gRape-fantasy kink, & psychology says its actually very normal & healthy as long as practiced in a safe way. A lot of women ha e this type of fantasy- some, like me, use it as a way of coping with their anxiety and overthinking, others use it as way to cope with trauma & take back their power. It's harmless & healthy when practiced safely. Its not about pain, but power. And sometimes, theres a lot of power in willingly giving up control." -Ali

I love love loveeeee LO Gold’s writing! So color me not surprised when I read this trilogy and was completely hooked. I believe this was a perfect ending to the trilogy.

I’ve got 2 quick things to say
1) Garret you hold a special place in my heart
2) Detective could you possibly just not?!? Like for real.

Ok so to the review!

I’ll be honest I was so unsure about Ali being the FMC, only because I was 100% team Celeste and she wasn’t an Ali fan. But guess what, LO changed my mind and I love that Dark Princess. Here is your crown girl, 👑

While reading this last installment I kept having flashbacks of little easter eggs from the previous 2 books. I’m over here like LO you tricky lil thing and I absolutely love you for it. Did I keep going back to see if I was right? Yes of course I’m just a girl, I needed to know.

Brody is still at the top of my K!// list, with Will not being far behind. Those two are straight up POS’s and got what they deserved.

So clearly I am not going to give a bunch of spoilers on this review, I might add more things later on after it’s been released for a bit. But for now, just trust and jump into this trilogy.

The story is damn good, but the spice… that right there is top tier and I’ll take more of Garret thank you very much.
