The Traitor

Rate this book
The Traitor begins after Dr. Russell Conrad returns from the Middle East to Dallas, Texas.
His actions at the conference raised concerns. President Omar Sanjar’s National Security Council members questioned Conrad’s communications with Israeli Mossad agent David Abraham. Some advisers viewed the Southern Methodist University professor as a traitor. The Council recommended bringing Conrad to Washington for questioning to resolve their concerns.
Terrorists attack the FBI agents when they are escorting Conrad to Dallas Love Field for the trip to Washington. An elderly woman with a Uzi saved Conrad, and the two escaped in a car. This begins a car chase through South Texas as Conrad and the woman try to flee to Mexico, hunted by an FBI team directed by Verlinda Williams.
At the same time, a terrorist team, under orders from the Iranian government, organized an attack on the United States' economy. They planned to destroy petroleum refineries in Texas and place the blame on Israel.
Conrad learns of the terrorist plans at a rest stop. Afterward, he meets with a college friend and his motorcycle buddies. Following a brief discussion, Conrad’s escape plans are discarded, and the SMU professor enlists the bikers' help to thwart the saboteurs. This launched a complex attempt to warn authorities and stop the terrorist schemes.
