This series is getting better and better with Big Daddy Sinatra book 3: The Best of My Love (The Sinatras of Jericho County really telling why Charles was the way he was ruthless even as a teenager... but so supportive and loving to his family.

At the age of 13 hero, Charles, his sister, Jacqueline (Sprig) and baby brother, Michello (Mick the Tick aka Mick) witnessed their father, Luke kill their mother and her lover and something in this incident compelled me as the reader to really understand his view of not allowing his father flee after those killings but to be arrested for life until strangely 36 years later a corruption discrepancy in the case was discovered and the ruling judge later ruled to set Luke free only for him to be killed by.... enough spoilers... you read it!

This is a gripping series if you like a blunt but strong, protective alpha father and possessive husband, close but funny and bickering brothers and sisters (siblings) each different but understands their father, Charles Sinatra aka Big Daddy and his sister and brother whose presence were very brief but pivotal in the story! So who really cares if the townspeople says he's ruthless and the devil incarnate because Charlie Sinatra is so much more! He is justice so to speak and loyal to the letter of the law until something goes down with Ash and Donnie and he bends for them as only he can with Jenay by his side!

Jenay and Charles are a dynamic duel and are forging a great legacy with the Sinatras of Jericho County, Maine.

BTW, The oldest son, Brent has found his lady luck but Jenay's friend, Denise is up to no good again with Marki, her son looking just like Brent and her husband, Mark knowing it but still cheating on the side and still an out-of-sight husband!

5+ sensational stars! ***** I love this series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am still loving this series.

I love it that the family are pulling together now and the boys have all got their acts together and they love their step-mother. I love how they support each other.

Jenay: "If you're in it, I'm in it". She frowned. You know that".
Charles: "Yes, I know it"

I love the fact that Jenay is right there with her man in everything she has his back. I love that!

Brent and Mikayka's looking forward to their story. Let us hope that Denise does come back and ruin it for them.

Looking forward to book 4. This series to be a real page turner!

I really enjoyed this book. I just don’t like how immature all of Charle’s “adult” kids are. Well, maybe excluding Brent.

3.5 stars because of the immature “adult” kids.

Big Daddy Sinatra 3: The Best of My Love (The Sinatras of Jericho County Book #3) did not disappoint. It was full of surprises as well as Charles and Jenay continue to battle the outside forces that threaten their family. They have adopted Ashley and Carly, Jenay's stepdaughter from her first marriage. Ashley is a handful and Donald has come around is calling Jenay Ma. Brent is finding himself attracted to the Special Prosecutor that has come to Jericho to inform Charles that his father may be released from prison due to the misconduct of the defense and prosecution office when his father was first convicted. It seems that someone is still out to destroy the relationship between Charles and Jenay, but the love of the Sinatra family keeps them strong and united.

I have enjoyed reading about the Charles and Jenay Sinatra and hope to read more about Brent, Tony, Robert, Donald, Ashley, Carly and Mick Sinatra too.

Another Winner- BRAB ONLINE BOOK CLUB

I am a sucker for Charles and Jenay Sinatra and their ever growing family. They are a dysfunctional bunch who are loyal to each other; but you can't help but love them.

This book took us back to Charles' father and the terrible thing he did that devastated the family. The author takes you on an adventure that has you on the edge of your seat.

I hope the next book will expand on Brent and Mikayka's budding romance.

Build up

I am going to assume this book is preparing us for Brent. I enjoyed it as usual not my favorite but I'm a die hard mallory monroe fan with the exception of what she has done to Grace and Tommy .

Didn't feel like there was much of a story there. It seemed like it was thrown together with several ideas that fell flat for Charles and Jenay all in an effort to build up Brent for his own storyline. Wasn't happy with this one.

This book was a must read book i loved that the author have giving us a inside of what was going on in all the children lives and also the adults but as for Charles you can tell that he was still holding on to the past and especially since he was about get ready to face his father for the first time and how many years. But one thing i can say is that Charles really need Jenay in his life because to me she is like the only person that can keep him calm because with out her everybody would have to deal with Charles and in mean ways including his kids. But at least we can to see charles open up about his brother and sister because even though his relationship with his siblings is rocky you can tell that he really don't talk about them much at all. And as for Ashley she have a lot of growing up to do because she wasn't trying to listen to anybody on what they was trying to say especially when charles told her about being easy but i was pleased to know that she has graduated from school. And that donald is growing up to. And as for brent he look like he might be finding love his self because he seems like he is being open about love again considering that he really don't do relationship but i like makaylya she seems like one of those strong independent women and she is going to something that brent need in his life but most of all it was a good story.

😌🤔🫤

Reading the series in chronological order helps to temper some of the hard to digest events in particular family's, I. E., the Gabrini's. There is so much violence (yet thrilling) action there in that family and now, Big Daddy Sinatra being placed in the midst, gives a bit less of the Mob like life. Though, we are somewhat introduced to Mick in this book and I am currently looking forward to reading his story!

Awesome read! I love the brief appearance of Mick the Tick! The father of Mick and Charles and Sprig is so hateful. Yes, he has to go! Onward to read more about Brent and Makayla.

What can I say...Mallory Monroe you are awesome...I stumbled upon this series and I enjoyed it sublimely. I am raving about your books to my friends.

To say this is the end of this series is so bittersweet...I really loved the relationship between Charles and Jenay. They trusted each other. I loved how he dealt with his children. Everyone needs a little tough love.

I want the love, trust and belief that Charles and Jenay have for eachother.

The way Charles dealt with the debtors was hilarious. Imagine you got a notice to vacate a property because you have arrears and you are demanding that you will not move. The rookie cop was so stupid...I am reading and thinking why would this fool call Charles. Then the woman was threatening to slit her daughter's throat because she didn't want to leave the home but knowing Charles; he called her bluff and shot her. It was so funny and mean why you threaten your child to stay on property that you are owing loads of money for ;that bitch was psycho. She needs to pay her debt and find a cheaper home for her and her kids.

Brent being the sheriff...he had the same attitude as his dad. The way he dealt that insubordinate cop was epic...he really showed him who was the bigger boss.

The scenes in this book was hilarious and major page turners.

FIVE BELLY ACHING STARS

The scene with Ashley and Wille(The scum of the earth)...to say that she brought that upon on herself would be cruel but everyone needs a lesson in life to set them straight. This was Ashley's lesson. I can't believe that he raped Ashley and was threatening her. I felt that just added fuel to her fire. I can't believe she went to Sprig, that drunk; it is so laughable because that woman is always drunk. It was funny when she said that Charles was raising murders now.

My advice for that chaser, Paige, is to let go. Charles doesn't want you anymore. He has moved on.

Paige and Wille...

When I saw him(WIllie) enter the Jericho Inn I was like what is this fool doing here? Later on, after he spewed his bullshit. Ashley entered and pulled the gun on him. Her parents and her brother, Donnie sprung into action because they didn't want Ashley to ruin her life. Charles dealt with that scene with grace... he knows when his children are telling the truth or lying so it was difficult for him to take the blame and call it self defense. However, he knew that Willie had indeed raped her. So he was not going to let his daughter go down for protecting herself. Willie was such a fool.

We start off with what happened to Charles' parents. It really gave some insight on not just Charles but Sprig as well. I think it shows just how messed up she really was, not just back then but for her entire life. For her to start where she did with locking doors to still want that relationship after so much time is amazing but true for so many people in everyday situations. Again Jenay was just a side character she didn't really matter in the long run but the daughters really came alive in this one. I thought if anything Ashley would've been the more serious one. She seemed like she was going to do right and lead the way for her sister but not so much.

Donald I think needed her to really step up, it was like a living mirror that showed him how others viewed what he was doing. Still not sure on Robert, he seems to be nonexistent in this one. Tony I'd like to see how he turns out, something is saying that he may just end up with Norm or something. Brent I think is really pushing it with her just because he wants something more. Denise is as foul as foul can be and I'm hoping it comes back in bites a chunk out of both of their chest. I'm loving Mick, have to go back and see if he's in the other series, he spoke up without even saying a word. Loved his silence but I'm wondering just what's really going on with him. Is he another Sal or is he Paulo? Still waiting on Sal to come into play as well but these seem to be moving pretty slow. I'd like to see the other side of the coin when Sal does go down, just how will they all react when Sprig shows her ass. Will Charles be mad? Will Mick feel some kind of way? Everything about it is making me crazy wanting to figure out what will be next. Good read just ready for more.

I've read all three books in this ongoing interracial romance series and each book is weaker than the previous one. This one had no real plot or character development. I kept waiting for a story and nothing had materialized by the end of the book. The were opportunities for the author to create suspense, show how the characters have changed or grown, create characters that the reader could invest in emotional but these opportunities were missed. This book seemed rushed and the author must have just been going through the motions when she wrote this one.

In this book we are introduced to Big Daddy's father who is a murder, Big Daddy has to compromise his views about right and wrong to save one of his children and deliver justice to the guilty parties. His sons continue to love and respect him, and work to find their own place in the world. Race, in this IR series is seldom mentioned and when it is it is not explored in any way. However, and to her credit, the African American women are actually identifiable as Black. No hazel eyes or grey eyes and skin barely kissed by the sun. Recently, to appeal to a broad audience, romance books make African American women physically and culturally the same as white woman. At least this series does not do that so that's a plus.

It's all Relative

We begin 6 years after the failed attempt on Jenay life. She and Big Daddy are happy as ever, raising their growing family. They have adopted Ashley and Carly ,Jenay's ex step-daughters after the death of there father. All seems great but it is never easy for the Sinatras. The good citizens of Jericho and some new comers have some surprises for the family. Murder, conspiracy and sabotage and that's just the beginning, it's never a dull moment with the Sinatra clan. This was ok, I love the characters and the banter between the brothers is hilarious, but I am starting to see a pattern with this author. I do like her books they all kinda seem the same.I found myself forgetting this is Charles and Jenay b/c they are so similar to Reno/Trina and Dutch/Gina. The story, while well written was a little predictable at times but I like this series and will continue with it.

DNF @ 47%/. I tried to read this book. I really did and it was because of the encouraging comments and because I really liked book 1. I really did not like book 2 but I just thought that it was a fluke. Boy was I wrong. I feel like this book could have been good but the grammar, structure and presentation was so juvenile. Repetition of stories by different characters, annoying and pointless confrontation and conversation. It was like a novice or an immature person penciled this. Very disappointing.

Another enjoyable read with Big Daddy and Jenay. We are few year further with this family and see the children progress. Big Daddy and Jenay are still deeply in love and little can shake that relationship. Brent is finally moving on with his life and Donnie is acting more mature.
We get more insight into Big Daddy's childhood and how it shaped him into the man he is today. Look forward to the next in the series.

lots of errors

First off I know it's pro choice to buy these books, and I love a good read, but this one not so much, lots or errors I started and restarted sentences so much it was rediculous, now I read Sprig died, Sal killed her, did she live through that? I need to know, I just want to say as expensive as her books are, she could spell check...So I am on the fence re this one, still love Charles and Jenay, but work is needed!

Never a dull moment!

Big Daddy is the truth! He is right up there with Reno & Sal; he's ALPHA TO THE CORE AND HE LOVES HIS FAMILY!!

I am thrilled with the maturity of his sons and his love for Jenay knows no limits. This was a perfect addition to the ongoing saga of Big Daddy Sinatra! So looking forward to Brent's story!!!

I am a Big Daddy fan but I thought this book just seemed rushed. I felt the plot twist with the former girlfriend was stupid. I wish there had been more development with the father and the court case. I also would have liked a little more of the war with the other B&B.

I probably will read the next one but Mallory is working a nerve.
