Oh My Stars!

I absolutely LOVED this story!
Lisa's characters are so real and so relatable. I could easily see Sarah as someone who'd be in my small group that I kept in constant prayer. Peter was the respectable young man that everyone was glad to know. And Dot and Ulysses were the aunt and uncle of everyone in the neighborhood. That's not who these characters were in the book but they were so real, that's how they'd easily fit into my reality.
I'd give "Cook, Code, and a Leap of Faith" seven stars if I could because that's the number of perfection. It's a must read.

such a fun read!

True to life reminder that we can get caught up in what people say about us and forget what God says we are!
